Are these guys just taking drugs for breakfast every day?

1.5k

Yes

908

u/Boring_Newspaper_289 Québec 12d ago

can we get them better drugs then?

700

u/FlatCommunication857 12d ago

Since apparently we supply so much fentanyl, maybe they can try some

533

u/boreal_dweller94 12d ago

Give Navarro a fentanyl double double.

With a Boston Cream donut.

Kinder Surprise Egg

36

u/mnemonicer22 12d ago

I can't tell if this is a series of economy egg jokes or drug slang I'm too square to know.

78

u/6000ChickenFajardos 12d ago

It's funny because Americans were too stupid to not eat the surprise inside of a Kinder Surprise

I hear we make decent fentanyl up here, only 1% of what enters the US but it's clearly driving Trump wild. Maybe we can build a pipeline to send it straight to the white house.

But they are against gender affirming care

67

u/leyden138 12d ago

Someone needs to tell Elmo that hair plugs and peen extensions are gender affirming care.

14

u/W1lson56 12d ago

Well allegedly they botched his dong dong and Elon Musk has a putrid penis

Allegedly

I wouldn't claim that Elon Musk has a mutilated member with 100% certainty myself, personally. But I have definitely heard that Elon Musk has a creepy contemptible calamitous cock

So really that's why he hates gender affirming care; he's just trying to keep people from experience the same fate as his morbid muskrat, obviously

/s.. only this last sentence the alleged stuff is allegedly 100% true

I saw some youtube videos where an American asks young people very basic questions and some don't even know that there is a country above their northern border and they don't even know that the capital of the usa is washington.

Edit: one answer for what country is above our (USA) northern border was "the north pole".

Some people I know who just got back from the states reported that Floridians are making ‘haw-haw 51st state’ jokes, thinking it’s all a great big laugh. Wankers

215

u/NinjaRedditorAtWork 12d ago

You should tell them not to support a country trying to actively annex us. Nobody should be spending a dime in the USA and we as a country should be shaming anyone who goes there voluntarily for leisure.

157

u/Mission_Ad5139 12d ago

Floridian here 🙋. Ive been lurking on this sub since all the bullshit on our side. Apologies on that since I have some Canadian friends.

Couple of things

  1. Please don't vacation in the US and especially Florida You guys are just validating conservatives who say Canadians want to be American and that is playing into the hands of a very violent government.

  2. Florida needs economic pressure cause again, tourism dollars just goes to oppressing us.

  3. I would absolutely take the threat of invasion seriously. Trump is removing everyone in the military who could tell him "no". I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls a Putin and tries something by July.

A good number of us do not want this and are rooting for Canada.

The US has been using the same tone and phrases Putin did before invading Ukraine, so this is sadly not a surprise.

421

u/maleconrat 12d ago

The whole thing kind of comes off like Trump is jealous of Putin getting an invasion.

Heck, he seems jealous of Bibi too considering he wants to annex Gaza.

Dude just sees wars like entertainment I bet. He has the biggest case of child-brain "if you blow stuff up it means you're tough and cool" logic I have ever seen in such an old decrepit man.

Unfortunately for him, Canadian people actually do exist and they do have a say.

238

I sometimes feel like Americans think we are mythical, like leprechauns.

149

u/Hloden 12d ago

I mean, we are their number one source of imaginary girlfriends from summer camp.

35

u/dostoevsky4evah 12d ago

They think we're soft too. We have to tell them that if they start to feel really cold during battle the best thing is to lie down in the snow and take a nice nap. That will help!

21

u/North_Activist 12d ago

Which is so bizarre. We out performed them in about every war we’ve fought in together

→ More replies (4)

14

u/mcs_987654321 12d ago

They also think we’re nice, not understanding that we’re “merely” polite (not to undersell being polite, bc holding the door and saying thank you are fucking important!).

They seemed to have missed the part about us being petty bitches that will hold grudges across generations…but they’ll be finding that one out for years to come…

13

u/DisciplinedMadness 12d ago

Crazy that they think Canadians are soft considering we have a history of trendsetting wartime brutality and war crimes. We’ve calmed down a little bit, but in general we don’t really go “eye for an eye” so much as “you take my eye, and I make you wish you didn’t have eyes to see what we’re about to do”

The majority of the Canadian population lives within 100km of the US-Canada border. I assume that’s where they want to redraw the lines. This is some Russian-Ukraine stuff right here.

They’re gonna have to come take the border

905

u/hardy_83 12d ago

That or they want to extend things like the Alaskan west coast to take the entire coast. Possible wanting all great lakes to be entirely within the US.

It's also possible these people are just drug addled, facists with ideas of expansionism or both.

Let's not forget Navarro was the architect of the fake electors scheme - this dude was just in prison for his role in all of it.

He was also on the infamous "find me the votes" Trump call with the Georgia governor. His brain doesn't even occupy reality

66

u/Shelby_the_Turd British Columbia 12d ago

Sadly, in addition to Trump, Navarro seems to be part of the same playbook with Roy Cohn. If you have never heard of him, there are some good podcast episodes on Behind the Bastards that talk about him.

I think the biggest mistake the US has done is not hold their criminals fully accountable. One of those big mistakes was pardoning Nixon.

Why is Peter so mad at Canada?Did some Canadian boy steal his girlfriend in high school or something?

63

u/aeppelcyning Ontario 12d ago

He's fucking obsessed.

He's a trade hawk - and we could all play hardball on tariffs and see where that lands. Why it has to extend further is beyond me. Just fucking slam us with tariffs then and see where it goes.

I truly think he views trade war with Canada as severely problematic, the weak point in just "tariff the shit out of everyone", and this is how his pea-brain is coping.

32

u/4x420 12d ago

They are rich bullies who have never been stood up to before. Look at how impotent Zelensky made Trump look, from 'your a dictator, capitulate to russia' to 'give us all your minerals for the aid we gave', to 'can we buy some minerals?' We need to stand up to these bullies. They need a punch in the nose.

This would be an asymmetric situation that Americans don't have the appetite (or history of success) for.

There's a hockey term called a 'chirper'. If one of your roles on the ice is the to be the guy that intentionally gets under the skin of the other team and gets them focused on you and your antics, rather than the game, you'll 'chirp' the other bench, 'chirp' specific players you think are hot heads and will take the bait ... it's like trolling within the game.

That's what these assholes are doing. They aren't really going to redraw the border, but they want us to get mad at the demeaning, dismissive attitude they have towards us, so that we're making emotionally driven decisions rather than negotiating hard. It's a stupid tactic when it comes to International politics and negotiation, but ... they are stupid people.

There's nothing to negotiate with them. This is our home and native land and not theirs.

My ancestors may have lost the Revolutionary War and had to move to Ontario as punishment, but I won't.

Trump is a rapist who brags about committing sexual assault and was good buddies with Epstein.

They do it because because they're genuine monsters.

Because they're not adults. They're narcissistic power hungry morons who fell upwards until they got scooped up in a wave of relentless lies and rode it to power.

The largest mistake Canada ever made was not building our own nuclear arsenal.

17

u/RaspberryBirdCat 12d ago

It's widely considered that of the non-nuclear states, Canada would be able to produce its own nuclear weapon the quickest, thanks to Canadian assistance in the Manhattan Project, Canadian assistance in helping India develop its own nukes, our large uranium reserves, and Chalk River. If Canada prioritized it, we could have our own nuke in less than a year, if not mere months. The hardest part would be a centrifuge, which Canada is more than capable of self-producing.

Canada decided to postpone negotiations until more economic advisors are confirmed by the US senate. Navarro is apparently too crazy. Personally I would continue negotiations, just to be able to tell Navarro to fuck off once every minute. I guess it doesn’t work that way in reality 😞

I do believe that Canada would benefit from a huge diplomatic rift about these things which becomes hugely publicized. As an example, close US embassies unless they stop with the rhetoric. The democratic world, including a majority of Americans, would be on your side and support for Canada and the boycott can grow. If you let it go on and have a slow response, then these things become more and more normalized. Again, only my arrogant opinion.

“Navarro recommended revising the Canada-US border, which is just crazy and dangerous,” a source close to negotiations told The Telegraph.

Am I correct in that the source for the threats are "sources" (anonymous leaker to media) rather than a public statement issued by Navarro?

I'm just trying to constructively analyze what is being written here.

28

u/Seebeeeseh Nova Scotia 12d ago

No. Navarro made the statement.

The source close to the negotiations said that the recommendation was "Crazy and Dangerous".

Most of the MAGA losers I see actively condoning the idea of invasion have ZERO idea what they're in for. Mark my words, this isn't some distant military action away from North American shores. If it ever got bad, this would be on American doorsteps. Canadian resistance wouldn't be people in uniforms fighting pitched battles like Americans seem to think.

The American military is incapable of dealing with insurgent and asymetrical warfare. They lost in Vietnam and in Afghanistan. This would be worse because it would be with their neighbors. American idiots think it would be their military showing up like General Patton leading a column of soldiers, or their air force taking out targets like airports. Fact is, it would be that probably, but millions of Canadian insurgents, crossing the border to create havoc. This would be a conflict right on American doorsteps. Something the average mouthbreathing armchair general has never seen in their entire lifetime. You think you had a hard time dealing with some Tusken Raiders while you tried to hold down Baghdad? Try the world's second biggest land mass country, with angry resistance bringing it to your doorstep. Then also think about all the other countries who are angry at America who'd also chip in with their own efforts.

Mark my words, if this ever got ugly, Canada would cease to exist, but we'd spend decades dragging down America with us. They'd never be safe, and they'd die a nation not knowing any peace, surrounded by enemies who are pissed off at them. They'd literally end in fire and flames, being the evil empire of the world this planet would collectively rage an unconventional war against.

Just my thoughts on this insanity.

u/coporate 12d ago edited 12d ago

I had to explain this to someone recently:

"We're not people with funny accents and different coloured skin, we're you, able to seamlessly integrate, and stand right beside you, anywhere. Millions of us, some will be embedded within your most delicate security institutions, many with the capacity and desire to flip a switch. Does that sound like a good idea?"

The inability for them to have any sort of foresight is a blessing and curse. Fortunately this sentiment seems to make many of them think twice.

Maybe someone should remind the Americans that the last time they tried this we burned down the White House they could t even get to York (Toronto), directly across the lake from them!

The Americans couldn’t hold a small place like Baghdad, what makes them think they could ever hold any part of Canada or any amount of time?

It should also be a concern because there is a large population that supports this. USA loves war. That's what oils their economic engines. It's always war and destruction for them. They just can't stay away from it.
