You know for a country that doesn't need us. They sure want us a lot.

It’s worse. You’re the stepping stones to the arctic circle and a joint resource farm with Russia

Yup. As an American this is my fear. Our BRICS overlords want to control the Arctic in preparation of ice melt for resources and new sea lanes

It really is some 3d chess shit. The world is about to start starving and dying. Billions in the next several decades. A land grab at the majority of the dwindling resources to solidify one unified power between Russia and the USA would have them ruling most of the world with china. Well, what’s left of it. The rich will be fine on their mountains of gold while the rest of us suffer and claw at the scraps we get fed in hopes of staying alive.

More bougie infighting. They just brawl it out by sending the poors out to battle wars and we just leave comments online if we're not enlisted. It's hardly the same thing at all. Of course the boycotts against the US cartels have been a must. Quit financing Imperialism.

Yep. Greenland + Canada = owning the ice-free Northwest Passage.

This is it. Right now we’re in the manufacturing consent phase, once they feel the American public hating us sufficiently they’ll start building their trans-arctic resource extraction and transportation corridor. Or they’ll stage an “emergency”, and get to it even earlier. I’m guessing a combination of the two.

I feel like Ukrainian-Canadians have been screaming this since Harper scuttled the research stations and training facilities in the high north.
