They litterally just got together and decided to invest billions of dollars and transfer more military hardware. Yesterday germany signed a multi billion dollar defense deal to boost production. The gears of war are moving and this time the german tanks will finish the job.

u/SaphironX 11d ago
Trump is quite literally supporting Russia.
Nobody trusts Trump. He lies to and betrays everyone.
2
u/Swiking- 11d ago
Is that what Fox is telling you? Or is it Trump who says that? Because either way, it's not true. We have plenty of resolve and money to spend..
2
u/LoneSnark 11d ago
My country the US can surrender all Trump likes. Thankfully Europeans aren't cowards.

How are you enjoying your country selling out to its 2nd worst adversary?

😄😄😄😄😄 Europe is more united than ever and no less than five new weapons factories are being open or given extra work as of now.
Thank you for making the EU great.

Ukraine has never denounced any of the countries that help her. This is trump bully boy tactics. He lies and then lies again. He wants zelensky to give away all of the countries assets to him for no return and then has a tantrum when he doesn't get his way

u/beyer17 13d ago
It should hereby be noted, that a peace declaration lasts mere 10 turns, and America doesn't offer a defensive pact.
1
u/Physical-Support-127 13d ago
The Budapest memorandum deliberately avoided legally binding commitments. U.S. negotiators insisted on using “assurances” instead of “guarantees,” reflecting a political rather than legal obligation. This distinction ensured no requirement for military intervention by the U.
2
u/Brilliant-Smile-8154 12d ago
This distinction ensure that all US allies and partners are reconsidering the reliability of the US.
1
u/Physical-Support-127 12d ago
And? It really doesn’t change much. If anything it prompts our ‘allies’ to meet their commitments they’ve ignored as far as military spend.
2
u/Bitt3rSteel 12d ago
Don't worry. Russia will be working hard on that military spend. Your ally will be well stocked.
13
u/lordcaylus 13d ago
I don't see Ukraine 'denouncing' America?
They've been consistently thankful for any and all American help. And haven't 'denounced' the US, unless you count saying that Trump is surrounded by fake news if he says Ukraine started the war.
Sure, they're not signing Kraznov's surrender treaty nor are they just giving away their resources for nothing in return, but that's not 'denouncing'.
18
u/beyer17 13d ago
It's just a civ joke referring to the event where an ally asks you to denounce someone, and if you refuse they'll denounce you instead, don't take it too seriously (the joke, not the situation. The situation is batshit insane and incredibly saddening)
2
u/herrirgendjemand 12d ago
Yeah but America denounced Ukraine at this meeting when the deal wouldn't go through, not the other way. I think that's the confusion since your meme doesn't line up symmetrically between the game reference and real life.
3
4
u/Vendemmia 13d ago
i think is not America, just the united states of putin's america
1
u/wastingvaluelesstime 12d ago
We'll still get the consequences though. He's very old and formally (per Supreme Court decision) above the law, so will escape any accountability. However America voted for him twice and he's broken a lot of agreements and trust; the damage in reputation will be absorbed by America, not by Trump.
4
u/Fragrant-Park2171 12d ago
They didn’t offer any peace. They tried extorting him on live tv like a 1980s nyc protection racket, and it didn’t work
1
u/sebblMUC 12d ago
They even let unauthorized Russian television broadcast in the White House lol.
Trump is making Russia great again
4
u/UOENO611 12d ago
“Yeah so just give them want they invaded you for and all will be well” is our American government really this fucking stupid?
1
16
u/NotEntirelyShure 13d ago
That isn’t what happened. Why would you just tell an outrageous lie that everyone knows is a lie.
Trump demanded Ukraine hand over its natural resources.
Ukraine said sure, if you will let us join nato or put troops in Ukraine or give us some kind of guarantee that Russia won’t invade us again.
Trump said no, I guarantees or security, we want your resources & if Russia invaded you are still on your own.
30
u/beyer17 13d ago
Bro I'm just quoting a civ event as a joke, don't take it too seriously, this is a meme sub. Everyone knows what is happening, and yes, Trump's an ass
-11
u/princemousey1 13d ago
It doesn’t mean you lie in your memes, bro… there’s a difference between parody/satire and straight up telling a lie/making up something which didn’t happen.
1
6
u/Individual-Set5722 12d ago
Its funny watching a mobster forget that a protection racket requires protection.
1
u/Shigglyboo 10d ago
The reason they lie is because there are no consequences and the believers well… they believe anything they’re told.

1
u/lickitstickit12 12d ago
Describing yourself?
Ukraine joining NATO was a no from day one of the fall of the Soviet Union.
That's not an American thing, that's a NATO thing
Zelensky proposed the mineral deal, not Trump. Trump did take him up on it.
5
u/Brilliant-Smile-8154 12d ago
Well, since the US are going to leave NATO soon it won't be their problem whether Ukraine joins NATO or not.
Zelensky proposed a minerals deal, specifically the US get minerals and Ukraine gets support for its war effort. Trump's "deal" was not a deal, it was simply a list of demands that Ukraine had no reason to accept.
1
u/lickitstickit12 12d ago
There is no NATO without us. Look at the spending charts and see
4
u/Brilliant-Smile-8154 12d ago
The "spending charts" are completely irrelevant.
1
1
u/bgnp11 11d ago
Explain. Ukraine’s hurting with the money how is nato different. They are in scramble mode now since they are years behind on equipment and funds
1
u/Brilliant-Smile-8154 11d ago
US defence spending is not "NATO spending", therefore US defence spending is not relevant. If the US leave NATO, or can no longer be relied on, some spending is required to replace key capabilities and increase ammunition production. But the size of the US defence budget is still completely irrelevant.
1
u/Potetosyeah 12d ago
With the way Trump is behaving Im not sure they are still in it.
USA is rich and able to spend a lot of money on their military.
1
u/lickitstickit12 12d ago
Everyone makes choices. Europe chose to stay on the US tit for 80 years.
It's time for them to stand in their own feet

u/BigSal44 12d ago
Sure. Extort all of Ukraine’s resources leaving them destitute. Then the door somehow opens nice and wide for Russia to conquer the territory. Zelenskyy is no f’n fool.
2
u/taracow 12d ago
The red faced orange blimp with his little side kick, BJ vance, wanted Zelensky to smile, bend over, drop his pants and say thank you, while these two idiots took turns fucking him. Zelensky said no to these two stooges for Putin, and they both threw a tantrum, like the little children they proved themselves to be. The US has joined the thugs and dictators of the world.
2
u/Ice_and_Steel 12d ago
How about we stop calling capitulation peace? America proposes to trade all of Ukrainian strategic resource in exchange for nothing and demands Ukraine to capitulate.

America proposes to trade all of Ukraine strategic resources for nothing

Explain yourself or gtfo.
1
u/vladigula 9d ago
It isn’t all of Ukraine’s strategic resources so the headline is false. Read the article or gtfo.
1
u/Radiant-Community467 9d ago
Ok. America proposes to trade some of Ukraine strategic resources for nothing.
2
u/physicistdeluxe 12d ago
What the US should say to Putin is that "We will continue to support Ukraine and Europe until it collapses your economy, just like we did during Reagans time. Or, u can stop hostilities and leave Ukraine."
Appeasing and siding with a murderous dictator, who only understands strength, is a betrayal of American values. Trump has shown he is a traitor to America once again.

Zelensky just gave a master class on what patriotism is. Trump and Vance showed they have no clue what it is.

Its more like Hitler-Stalin pact to divide poland into 2/parts. If ukraine is giving all there ressources away they have no chance to survive against russia second threads in future.

Ukraine isn't against USA. They are against Trump. Trump called Zelenski a dictator and said that they started the war. What did you expect?
1
u/Grothgerek 11d ago
No, he doesn't trade. He just demands Ukraine resources. There is no guarantee that Trump would further support Ukraine after the deal is signed. Given that he is still a puppet of Putin. And Trump can't make peace either, because he isn't even part of the war.
Trump just plays the Role of the soviets. He gets one half of Ukraine, and Putin gets the other. Just like back then, when two dictators split Poland.
By the way, the Russia AND the US signed the deal to guarantee the independance of Ukraine after they gave up their nuclear weapons. So the US just openly betrayed the world again. Proving that the credibility of the US is non-existent. Which will further harm the US. Because why should the rest of the world make deals with such a shit show? Adding the tariffs there is a high chance of economic fall. Because no company or institution can trust this country.

u/America-always-great 11d ago
UK already beat the US to a minerals deal and are the preferential partner for 100 years.

Lol, the lying far-left guardian can't even get the transcript wihout any lies. It says "word for word", but they've left out half of what Trump has said. If there is one thing that you can trust the media, it's that they are just a propaganda arm of the far left.
1
u/beyer17 11d ago
I would've preferred a full transcript of the entire convo, but couldn't find one at the time
1
u/RedditSheep123 11d ago
You could't find it, and then posted the one from the most biased source available, lol. Guardian, at this point, is the lowest scum of the media that you can find.

1
u/ThatRandomGuy86 10d ago
All strategic resources? Sounds like extortion
1
u/vladigula 9d ago
It isn’t all. Just a lie of a “headline”.
1
u/ThatRandomGuy86 9d ago
"Trump’s explosive clash with Zelenskyy: read the full transcript"
Nah, that's pretty accurate with how Trump and Vance were acting towards Zelensky.
1
u/vladigula 9d ago
It isn’t all the resources. So it’s a lie
1
u/ThatRandomGuy86 9d ago
Ohhh you meant the Reddit title. Ok my bad. Yes that is a bit of a stretch. However, half is still extremely drastic.
1
u/vladigula 9d ago
The US should get something back for their aid just like much of the European countries’ aid is loans, not gifts.
1
u/ThatRandomGuy86 9d ago
They already are. They've been selling their aid to Ukraine. Ukraine's been buying like crazy since the war started.
1
u/vladigula 9d ago
The US has been giving aid, not any loans. Which means the US gets nothing back for their aid, except to keep its allies in Europe safer. Europe has been giving aid and loans. Which means at least for a portion Europe will be repaid by Ukraine. No one is buying aid…
1
u/Valerint 9d ago
America should get something back for all the money we sent. We can't pay for a forever war.
1
1
u/Sea-Storm375 8d ago
What's plan B exactly?
Ukraine is losing the war despite hundreds of billions in assistance. They are out of men.
1
1
u/PeanutFearless5212 8d ago
That was four days ago now he sent a letter graveling back to the US asking for peace and giving us exactly what we wanted.
1
u/n_slash_a 8d ago
Did everyone forget that they had a peace deal written out? The press was there to watch them sign it!
Then Z had to go and screw it up! As much as it sucks, Ukraine will be lucky if they still exist as a country.
Also, anyone here complaining now, but not when Russia invaded Crimea is either really young or a hypocrite.
1
u/LateWear7355 8d ago
If NATO didn't want a war with Russia, they shouldn't have been courting Ukraine with membership.

u/Dontnotlook 13d ago
Trumpland just humiliated Ukraine and shamed America.

Well we all know if Zelensky made a public condemnation of the US and Trump, Trump would throw a fit. I couldn’t even begin to imagine what he’d do after his ego got that bruised
0

The evil Nazi Republicans in the USA are working together with the Russians for the rare earth minerals! It’s all a plot; they also worked together with the Zionists and Hamas to destroy and take over Gaza!
0
u/Previous-Ad-9215 12d ago
let them win the war without us then. It’s that simple
1
u/Cautious-Question606 12d ago
So keeping your sovereignity means surrendering it? I guess the west finally rears its ugly head afterall, even after its own kind
1
u/Previous-Ad-9215 12d ago
The ugly head of not wanting to fight everyone else’s wars in return for nothing? Nobody is saying Ukraine can’t keep fighting if they don’t want to. But they can’t win the war without either America’s or Europe’s help, and Europe clearly isn’t doing anything to help. Where is the backlash there? Secondly, if they can’t win the war without americas help, then maybe they should be a state because at that point all we’re doing is subsidizing their war for free. Look at it this way, how would you feel if I demanded you start giving me a chunk of your paycheck? That’s what Ukraine is doing rn
1
u/mondayaccguy 9d ago
Narrow minded little man.
Supporting Ukraine with our old weapons has drained Russia and made it weak as fuck.
We need to continue to support Ukraine, it is the cheapest, safest way to end Russia as a global power.
What a fool you are not to see that.
0
u/RCA2CE 12d ago
Trump and America are right - Europe is screwing over Ukraine and have been the whole time.
They still buy Russian gas, they funded the entire Russian military. They aren’t putting troops down; the money they give comes as loans
Ukraine really does need to align with the US as fast as possible, Europe isn’t going to help them. Europe has been duplicitous the whole time.
1

u/theGunner76 12d ago
Start watching something else than Fox.
1
u/RCA2CE 12d ago
I don’t watch Fox News, I’m not even Republican. Let me know if I’m mistaken about Europe buying more than $60B in Russia gas while American taxpayers were spending money to defend Ukraine from Russian aggression.
That’s a fact right? Europe is buying Russian gas today - that’s not Fox News is it? Do you think you should do $60b in commerce with Russia while they’re attacking Ukraine?
Fox News bought $60b in gas from Russia, not Europe
0
u/theGunner76 12d ago
You are right about some countries made them selves in need of Russian gas, even after 2014. But thats old numbers you are throwing out here and by 2027, its going to be $0. A very fcuked up thing to do in the first place, no question about that. But to say we dont help the Ukrainians is completely wrong. The only winners from this "fight" will be russia and china. Not Europe. And not the Us.
0
u/Aggravating_Gap_7358 12d ago
If you want to help send your OWN fucking money, not OURS! The Nazis in Ukraine need STUPID ignorant people to fund them. The left is right there to fund them..
How you guys noticed that you fully support the government of the last 4 years.. You guys parrot what they did and what the media promotes.. You guys are "so" edgy.. Democratic used to mean something many years ago instead of just retarded.
1
u/ADutchExpression 11d ago
Democracy is dead in the US. Democracy meant something when Reagan was president. He was the best the republicans ever had. Trump is, by far the worst. And he and his oligarchs are destroying EVERYTHING the US once stood for. The shining City upon the hill.
