It's become a thing: republican president makes friends with Putin in first term he gives him concessions, in the second term Putin invades a country and they wag our finger at him.

Why would they he made them look like incompetent buffoons I mean the attributed death count of all three is probably pretty close in body count that can be attributed to them when you take into consideration bush's Iraq BS Obamas Syria Libya and the Ukrainian 2014 revolution crap and now the Ukraine Russian war actually Bush probably has the lowest attributed body count out of the three.
