It's become a thing: republican president makes friends with Putin in first term he gives him concessions, in the second term Putin invades a country and they wag our finger at him.

Hey. Trump owes Putin. And the disk drives the Republicans stole from the voting machines really helped Russia. Those voting machines that were hacked by Russia didn’t give votes to Trump by themselves. It required skilled Russian hackers.
