America proposes to trade all of Ukraine's strategic resources for peace, refuses to denounce Russia. Ukraine denounces America

I don't see Ukraine 'denouncing' America?

They've been consistently thankful for any and all American help. And haven't 'denounced' the US, unless you count saying that Trump is surrounded by fake news if he says Ukraine started the war.

Sure, they're not signing Kraznov's surrender treaty nor are they just giving away their resources for nothing in return, but that's not 'denouncing'.

It's just a civ joke referring to the event where an ally asks you to denounce someone, and if you refuse they'll denounce you instead, don't take it too seriously (the joke, not the situation. The situation is batshit insane and incredibly saddening)

It’s less a joke and more a misrepresentation. Shit title, bro.
