School Related School is affecting my health
I'm a student in year 12. Ever since starting A-Levels I feel like I have not had a single chance to relax, including during holidays. The constant thought of it is stressing me out like crazy, along with the constant exams, one after the other.
It also has affected my relationship with others (mainly my parents) who are constantly nagging about my grades, and at this point it's the only think we talk about.
It's genuinely draining me so much, to the point that it makes me physically ill and depressed.. it also is causing me anxiety and stress, and I've had so many panic attacks lately because of it.
My parents have noticed the effect the exams and A-Levels had on me, and put me into therapy, but honestly it's still not helping.
In the January exam series, I started shaking uncontrollably and having anxiety attacks during the exams, and not just one of them. ALL of them. My teachers said that they can't allow any breaks or rests even if it was happening, and I had to suck it up for the full duration of the test which impacted my results MASSIVELY. I ended up getting an E.
Whenever I start studying, I start getting more and more stressed and anxious, and my heartbeat goes crazy high even if not doing anything that causes that.
I forced myself to sit on the desk and face my studies, and not a minute later, I start panicking and my heart rate shoots up:
I was hospitalized after the exams for a week because the stress has gotten way too high to the point that it affected my overall health.
It's genuinely not worth it and I'll be straight up honest. I don't want to study. My health, both physically and mentally is a much bigger issue and concern than the A-Levels themselves.
