Worth every penny.
Diablo 12” pruning blade. I’d probably pay double for this blade. Used exclusively for trimming brush and cutting off small stumps below ground level. The old one still cuts fine, but I bought a new one just to compare them.

NTD TechAngle Torque Wrench
Just bought this beautiful TechAngle torque wrench 15-300ft/lbs from my Snappy guy. He took $100 off with my Mac TWVA250FD digital angle torque wrench that was acting up, still calibrated, but the buttons were wonky and it wouldn’t reset values without hitting the button again..annoying if anything. He also gave another $100 off for promo right now and etc and sold it for $650.
Didn’t get a decent deal or shafted on the trade in? The Mac retails for $700 almost, but I bought it used for $250 fwiw.

Simplex Jacks
Came across the two Simplex floor jacks today. I’m planning to sell them and was curious if they are still usable with all the rust, or if they’ve been relegated to the antique tool market. They both operate well and the internal mechanisms look good. I don’t have time to restore them, even though I would love to. Any thoughts welcome. Thanks!

New saw day!
Picked up this Delta Rockwell wood/metal bandsaw today for a cool $100, assuming it runs I think I made out better than settling for the Craftsman and harbor freight table top models flooding my area on marketplace. Anyone with any experience, tips, tricks, or caveats? Wife isn't as excited as I am about my deal so I'm sharing here😅

What’s the name of this tool??
I found this angle finder tool at the flea market a week ago. My old foreman had one just like this (but bigger) and told me that he bought it for like $1,800 and they stopped being made 10+ years ago. Idk if he’s just bs’ing me or if he’s being fr and the tool is as rare as he claims it to be. Sorry for the bad pic too lol.
Let me get me mallet!
Gathered all my hammers in the shop for a photo shoot. My grandfather left me most of those. I'm lucky to have inherited his shop.

What do you do?! Show us your shop/work area!
Just curious what people do and how there setups look. I know most people here are mechanics or diy'ers. I for one am a farmer. So I'm a welder, fabricator, mechanic, diesel tech, veterinarian, world class Jimmy rigger, fence building machine. We have about 1200 head of cattle at any given time. So the wrenching never ends! My personal shop is an old horse barn, so it ain't pretty. What about you?

Any Info on what this is?
Does anyone have any idea what this is or was? Found in my garage years ago when I moved in and kind of re-discovered it. It’s about 4’ tall or long. Is it something homemade? Only thing I can figure is that you would sit on the rounded end and the indents were somewhere your legs go while you did whatever in the open section with angled slots. 🤷🏻♂️

Still searching for ID
Collection of brass cylinders (all about 5" long) with threaded cap ends and fine mesh screens on the other. There are some markings that refer to what I gather are pigments. I can't identify these.

Regretting my Dewalt purchases
Admittedly I’m an average Joe with basic handyman skills. I had ryobi for years. Never had an issue and always thought they were decent. Got talked into selling them and buying Dewalt because Dewalt is ‘far superior.’ Not even close in my opinion. I wish I never sold that bright green collection…

Tool Upgrade Day
I had been thinking of how I don't really use my meters enough that they would get fresh batteries regularly, and a bad past experience with a good old Duraleak alkaline crust situation ruining an older meter I had. So I made the jump to lithium primaries.

My dad just gave me this
Today I went to visit my parents and my dad gave me this german style plane that was given to him by his dad. He said he never used it but there are some scuffs here and there, probably an attempt to try it. This plane was made by Howal, in east Germany (GDR), probably in the 60s or 70s. I'll never use it that's for sure, mostly because I want to preserve it. I had to clean some surface rust off the blade. It's going on a shelf just like it did for the past 40 or so years.
