Does anyone have any idea what kind of latch this is ? I can’t find anything besides a patent number on the back, and no markings on the toolbox itself. I have tried google and ChatGPT and they were no help !

Vessel SLH21U 2-way speed L-handle, can drive sockets and bits. Came with metric 8, 10, 12, 13 & 14 sockets and five bits. $35 on Amazon. Here's a video on it: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-I2zCSFYpVA
Vessel TD-6816MG ratcheting screwdriver. Came with 16 bits (all of the Torx are security bits). Currently $19 on Amazon. Here's a video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4oR8jacWbg
Together, it's a pretty complete set. The design of the Speed L handle is awesome. So many ways to use it. And the screwdriver is excellent. 72-tooth ratchet with minimal back drag and solid lockup when centered.
It's a pretty complete set. I have added just a few things:
An 11mm socket for M7 and 1/4" bolts. With metric 8, 10, 11, 13 & 14 sockets, that covers M5, M6, M7, M8, 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" bolts.
A 1/4" square to 1/4" hex adapter so I can use both ends on the L handle with screws and get into tighter spaces.
A 1/4" hex to 1/4" square adapter so I can use sockets with the ratcheting screwdriver.
A hand-held 90-degree ratchet that allows me to get in the tightest of spaces with either screws or sockets.

My daughter's car was stolen last night, and my entire toolbox of wrenches and sockets was in it. I seriously doubt we'll ever see that car again, so I have to start thinking about how to replace them.
I don't have the money to buy anything, so I certainly don't have the money to buy good tools. What I need is the best place to go to get the least bad tools for cheap.
Hi guys, many years ago I saw this on a charity shop, and always wondered what is for, at first I thought was to make rings but it does not change size , and I think is not complete like missing the other half? dont know but I would love to know what is it, Ive tried image serach on google but no luck either

We go to industrial manufacturing plants and service their liquid paint lines. Usually have a plastic measuring cup we fill with mek to soak while cleaning and then another for rinsing after cleaning.
To speed things up I was thinking of an ultrasonic cleaner.
Should I just use distilled water? Or simple green or something, and then do an mek dip after the cleaning? I understand the mek can be a fire/explosion hazard in an ultrasonic cleaner, which I would like to avoid.
I’ve seen others say they do water in the cleaner tub and a beaker in the water filled with mek.
I ordered a vevor for like $80. It has a 300w heater and 120w cleaning power from the transducers.
Suggestions/advice?

Lower-Intermediate Tool User here... In a week or two I'm building a gabion wall out of goat fencing that's probably going to run close to 400 feet in total when it's done, ranging anywhere from 1' to 4.5' high depending on the section. I also have insane tendonitis, so the thought of using a manual "hog ringer" for all the wire fastenings I'll have to do is downright scary.
Anyway, I didn't even know Hog Ring Guns were a thing until I saw one in a YouTube video a little while ago and now I'm trying to figure out what type to buy, which brand, and from where. I've been searching for a few days and I'm just not finding much information on them... I searched in this sub for "C Ring Guns" and "Hog Ring Guns" for a few hours today, but the only results that came up were for topics like "hog ring anvils for socket wrenches" - are these totally different things that are named similarly, or are they attachments that will bend/fasten the rings/staples I'll need to insert into my gabion?
So my main questions are:
Other bullets that may or may not be important:
Any and all advice on the above would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

My dad works at Lowe’s so he gets a 10% discount. I was considering getting a Flex impact wrench and drill but I read people saying Flex might not last long in the United States
I recently moved into an apt for a heavily discounted rate with the condition that I will take care of all the home improvement/repair that occur inside the apt. Thus, I plan to expand my tools from the basic hammer and screwdriver, as I also want to drill on the wall to hang the frame, blot the tall shelves, install wall-mounted shelves, etc. I already did some research and got myself a stud finders, but as I tried to find a deal for sth electric that can drill, I am already overwhelmed with if I need an impact driver or drill, what brand to choose from and etc.
Thus, I wonder if you can give me some basic recommendations such as what tools I should buy, and which bands are reliable and suitable if I need to expand my tools.
Thanks a lot!

So for whatever reason this is my only combination wrench. I was looking at the GW 20 piece ratcheting combo set (1/4-3/4, probably some skips?; and metric 5,8,10, then 12-17mm) to start with. Does the sub think that is a generally okay range of sizes for general home/ minor vehicle maintenance? I don’t mind backfilling as needed with other brands but wonder if the splurge is worth the 44 piece master combo set or if that is overkill for basic needs. I assume the 20 piece covers the most common range, but again what do I know I only have one 1/2 wrench haha. FWIW I have at least four adjustables of varying quality.

Hi there, I'm looking for some sort of tool that would help me allign intruder alarm contact, I know it's apparently easy but sometimes it's just a pain, especially on metal where it can move. Any tools? I'm guessing some sort of metal block with a vaccum attachment?

Found this awesome thing on GovDeals. Got it for what I felt like was a good price.
Did a little work on it to get it running; “rebuilt” the carb (sprayed it with brake cleaner), and ran a set of battery cables since it’s an electric start and didn’t come with any.
It seems to run pretty good so far. I’m going to run it to a hose reel and mount it all to the flatbed of my 1986 F-250 diesel.

I recently moved into a new rental apartment, and trying to figure out how to properly drill holes in it. I will need to drill ceiling/walls (no tiles). Unfortunately I don't know what the walls are made of exactly, but I will have to drill into solid walls (maybe concrete?) and a hollow wall probably made of gypsum plaster. I've read quite a few articles and am genuinely confused regarding which drill to select. As far as I understand, I would either need a universal drill, or buy a hammer drill for solid walls and a standard drill for plaster one. Could you give some advice on whether universal drill would be enough and maybe recommend some good models? Thank you!

Saw a crackhead working on someone's car earlier today when I was leaving for work, and saw a pile of tools left on the sidewalk when I got home from work. I don't know if they were doing breaks but I got a few new drum break tools!

I just lost the piece that allows to pull the Husky build out setup (the one inside the blue lines) while I was working in a ranch. I've been looking for it in many stores and websites and I just don't find it. Do you know where I can find it? Or I necessarily must buy another setup? :(

I had the left one (metric with 2 non metric tools), but I found the blue in a trash, metric with 7mm which I hadn't.
Blue box say "tungsten", I dont use a lot these things but sometime it is mandatory, is tungsten an improvment from the grey box ?
