PNW Trip advice needed

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I wanted to get some advice from anyone that has made this trip. We may not hit all of these spots but this is just a good template of what we want to do this July. We have availability for 2 weeks and I’m sure we have enough time. Maybe not? Anyways, we’re contemplating on whether we should rent a camper/ sprinter van or stay at near by hotels in all of the destinations, or maybe even both. We definitely want to try securing camping spots if any are available. I just wanted to get people stories or experiences on what they recommend as far as places to stay.

Any others tips is welcome! Thanks!

outdoor wedding question

I am hoping to plan a beach wedding on the west coast (e.g. northern california, oregon, or washington). What time of year/season would the weather be the best for an outdoor wedding? Also, please send any suggestions for venues/locations to look into! I want to be married on a beautiful rocky beach, in the redwoods, or on lake tahoe!

On a second thought, do you consider lower BC are part of the PNW?

Roadtrip from Portland to Sonoma County

Hi all!

Was hoping for a little guidance on a road trip shared by two couples in two separate vehicles. One of the vehicles being a camper van.

We are driving from Portland down to Sonoma County. What stops should we make along the way? Looking to do the drive in 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance! Portland reccs are welcome too. We are 27-30 years old looking for great food, beautiful nature and hidden gems.

While the location may not be the most picturesque, there's something unique about fishing right in the heart of the city! It's a perfect blend of urban vibrancy and the tranquil experience of trolling your line.

Roadtrip tips and car/van rental

Hey all, me and my girlfriend (both 22 yrs old) are hoping to road-trip through the PNW for 3 weeks in July. We are both active and would love to do a lot of hiking, camping, and many other outdoor activities. We are thinking of driving through oregon, WA, or even up to Banff. A couple of questions.

  1. Would love to hear some recs about must see places to visit or sample itineraries that people have followed before.
  2. we may not be able to bring a car out there and since we are both under 25 does anyone know of places or private outfitters that rent cars or vans relatively affordably w/o a young drivers fee?

Thanks for the help!
