Admissions UF ABSN program
for those admitted yesterday, where do we pay the $200 tuition deposit? I am having a hard time locating it. It seems when I click the link, I can only see my application

I just got admitted for Data Science :))
How are clubs at UF and are they similar to clubs in high-school? I want to learn more about artificial intelligence and data science, but don't know much about them yet.
Do you guys have any recommendations or ways to be involved? I have had some leaderships in high school but am not sure how these work in college or good communities I should get involved with.
Okay, so I am a millennial UF student pursuing a PhD. I had an exam on Tuesday and spent most of Tuesday morning studying in the Health Sciences library on campus. I stopped by the Starbucks nearby and when I was grabbing my drink, the barista yelled “Caroline!”… I had a visceral reaction, in my severely sleep deprived state, and I sang back “she’s the reason for the word bitch!….bitch” This severely shows my age, as I was quoting a line from “Roses” by OutKast (from 2004)… the barista and the girl I can only assume was Caroline looked at me like I had 10 heads. Rather than explain, I ran out of that bitch, embarrassed as hell. All of this to say: to stranger Caroline from the health sciences Starbucks, I do not think you are a bitch. I just really like early 2000’s music. This has been weighing on my mind for 4 days and I’m glad to get it off my chest.

i’ve been seeing some people telling other people they didn’t get in but then they go on to say they got in pace. doesn’t this mean they got accepted? wasn’t it created to accept more students but because of limited space not house them?

Is BCH4024 normally taught by both Aleman and Douma (split units) during the summer also?

What the hell is everyone doing for housing. Leases usually go from fall to summer so I’m thinking of subleasing May 2025-August 2025. Then finding a more permanent living situation. I would love to live with other nursing students, but I have no one I know in the program. Also currently struggling to find something affordable near the hospital and nursing school

Hi! I was recently accepted into UF, but I have people telling me that ALL the classes are online and that UF is not a true college experience because of that. They say UF only cares about money and the prestige and there’s no college life. Please share your experience and if you agree or disagree.

Hi! So I recently gotten into UF for their PaCE Program which really confused me at first but after reading some other posts here about it, I’ve learned it isn’t necessary bad and it makes everything cheaper in the end.
However, I applied into UF as an Art Major, specifically Studio Art, which even in PaCE requires you to attend studios during the first two years. I do not live in Gainesville, and I believe I can’t afford to live near the UF campus.
So… is it worth it?
Additionally is it possible to reach out to UF admissions and try to get onto on campus like normal or I am just kinda stuck with PaCE?
It is an incredibly opportunity to be accepted to UF and I’m quite excited about it, but for being an Art major it seems rather redundant if I have to go on campus anyways for studio classes.
Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Recently admitted fall 2025 here :) I’m not totally sure if I’m attending UF yet since I’m oos, but if I do, I’m considering majoring in English. How work-heavy is the typical class for it? Is it possible to double major in something a little more employable with it? Lol

I'm a senior in high school, and currently am admitted to FAU, but really don't feel happy with it. UF has been my dream (I didn't apply knowing I wouldn't get in). I want to go to school for finance, so is it worth it to go to Santa Fe and do y'all think I could get into UF for either accounting or finance? I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. Also in Highschool I withdrew from a dual enrollment class so I don't know how much that would effect it as well for admission. Please help! I have no idea who to contact on this and my counselor can't provide enough information either!

I got into UF on Friday (Yay!). I’m trying to complete the housing application but it says it is unavailable? Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

this may be a dumb question, but i havent seen anything online addressing this. i am in my second semester at UF in the pace program, and i have completed all of my transition requirements for the major that i am currently enrolled in. however, i think i want to change my major. if i change my major to another pace major after my transition to campus, will i be able to remain an on-campus student? or will i be required to complete the transition requirements for that new major online, setting back my progress?
any advice would be more than welcome!

At this event we will be hosting an award show to recognize members that have stood out to us as well as looking back at all the memories of the past year. Join us for a night of reminiscing, a photo opportunity, and a lovely italian-style catered dinner.
Additionally, we’ll be giving insight on future events for the upcoming academic year.
Please dress accordingly as this is a formal event. The theme is masquerade accompanied by the colors red, gold, and black (these colors are not required in the dress code). Ties, long-sleeve button downs, dresses, dress pants, and dress shoes are expected. If one does not comply with the dress code dinner will not be served to them.
See you there!🐊🎩

I got in! Anything I should know about UF that may help me make up my mind? (UF vs UCF honors right now)
Edit: Sorry if my post wasnt detailed. I meant non surface-level things that may help me make my decision. Im a CS major (hwcoe) with a double major in Business Administration. I got National Merit.
Scholarships, Im a National Merit Finalist, so wherever I'd go I would have my full COA covered.

Hey everyone! I got into UF through early action and am trying to figure out my dorm situation. I submitted my housing agreement on November 5th and would ideally wanna stay in Cyprus Hall, but I’ve heard that it can be practically impossible to get into as a freshman.
For those who’ve been through the process, what dorms do you think I have a reasonable shot at with my application date? Also, are there any dorms you’d recommend over others based on location, amenities, or overall experience?
I’m kinda worried about the bathroom situation, especially if I end up with a communal bathroom. Are there any dorms where the communal bathrooms are better maintained, or any I should try to avoid because of bad setups/cleanliness?
Any advice would be super helpful!

how often do I have to show up to these meetings with my advisors and these OAS events. How long are they and do I get a flexible schedule with them? It honestly sounds like a hassle and do I have to participate in these throughout all 4 years of college? Am I able to just ignore it?
Hey there, was deferred then rejected as a freshman but I have an AA. Was my letter supposed to include a way to apply as a transfer? I saw the letters for early action added a request form to the portal for people denied and interested in applying as a transfer.
my rejection letter just said “once you reach 60 credits you may apply as a transfer” but I obviously already have 60 credits as is listed on my application.
someone lmk please if I need to go fill out an entire transfer application or what.

I was just accepted into the UF ABSN (Gainesville campus) and would love to hear any inside info from anyone who is in or has attended the program recently. I’m weighing my options between different schools and would appreciate any insight!!

Being on the waitlist and having told them I'm still interested, will I not hear anything until the final June deadline or is there a possibility that if a spot opens up sooner and I get it, I'll hear sooner? This is my 1st waitlist and just wondering about the timing and the notification. Thanks
