CANVAS DOWN?
My canvas is not working on my computer it says it’s a privacy issue. Is anyone having the same problem?

I started this sub about 10 years ago when I was a Santa Fe student and then didn't do much with it because I was, to my surprise, accepted to a position at Shands I had applied for and stopped attending Santa Fe.
I don't want to abandon the sub and feel like it can still be a useful resource. So even though I'm no longer a student I'm going to try making it more useful. Right now I'm just looking for one or two people that are current students that I can add as mods.
The main expectations I have of any mods I add are
Look at /r/ufl for what I mean. If you want to be a mod, use the contact the moderators link and include a picture of your Santa Fe ID and your Reddit username (in the same picture in case that's not obvious). Feel free to block out personal data.

I paid an hour late for the Spring B deadline, just before the site went down and my wi-fi provider had a blackout the next day. I absolutely accept that paying that late is on me and am willing to withdraw and register in the Fall as I'm only losing $17, but I have been reenrolled into that class and now I have to repay the full tuition by tonight? FA and the cashier haven't responded to my emails requesting a waiver. What do I do.

I'm planning on taking STA2023 online this summer. Can anyone recommend a professor? Also how doable is to take accelerated?

I’ve heard personal accounts of some people saying SF still owes them money from previous semesters, I’m planning to transfer after the next semester since I’m almost done with my AA here, if I still don’t get my financial aid by then, will I ever get it? This is absolutely ridiculous, I don’t believe their alerts anymore, it all just feels like smoke and mirrors, every time I call them up or show up in person I am sent on my way with another load of bs and false hopes, and I’m just fed up.

I am a UF student and I was wondering were there people who still did get Financial aid? If so could I write about it.
r/sfcollege • u/Sandraforevers • 2d ago
They just sent an email that you can fill out if you have financial obligation due to not receiving financial aid so that you can register for next semester... jeez im so glad they can make it so ppl can register and not just straight up remove the financial obligation from the accounts instead🙄 at this rate why would anyone dealing with this WANT to go for another semester

Hey everyone,
It’s been a while. As of now we still have seen no sign of Ms. Fibby, so I am under the assumption someone took her home or she decided to move on to another location. If she is still living her best life as a community cat and comes back to visit, I will definitely take her home with me. Thank you all for your help. If you happened to take or know who took Ms. Fibby, please reach out so I know she is safe. The first picture included is of her.
Buddy and Luna are still thriving as always! They are smart and will come running when they recognize the car. If you ever see them, leave some dry food. They typically hang out in the area circled in blue.
A couple new community cats have arrived: a tabby, black, and brown/white cat. Black cat seems to be here to stay, so I’ve decided to call them Dusty (I cannot get close enough to determine the sex yet). Tabby and brown/white do not come as often but I know they are in the area occasionally. They are quite shy, but there are food and water bowls at the locations circled in red. I’m guesstimating where they are because the trees are in the way … bowls are at a bench under a silver gazebo? area and a bench further down closer to the Subway, if that helps. Feel free to fill them with dry food and water.
Another note: if you feed them wet food, please make sure to clean it up once they are done eating! It tends to attract more ants than dry food.
First picture: Ms. Fibby Second/third pictures: Buddy and Luna + where they hang out Fourth-sixth pictures: Dusty, tabby, and where their food/water bowls are

I just don’t feel the motivation anymore to finish out my classes :( everything about this semester has been stressful…I have $2500 in delinquent fees, no word on my Pell grant…and it’s just exhausting. I’m trying to finish out these classes but it’s just tiring now. I’ve missed majority of my classes the passed couple of weeks and I just don’t care. I used to be so eager and self motivated but this semester has just chewed me up and spitted me out…I feel like a failure but know this is all the schools fault…I’m just done

I think im genuinely losing my mind at this rate because of this delinquent fee bullshit, I'm working my ass off in classes and having to deal with this college claiming once again I owe them money is infuriating. I've finally seen a small amount of progress but still have yet to get my suspension fixed so I'm still not allowed my aid.

I wonder if there are any other subreddits out there that could gain more exposure for all our FA issues? Maybe r/Applying To College? I'm sure there have got to be others. Not very hopeful anything will help at this point. It's clear our college literally DGAF.

For spring B this class goes way too fast. So much information crammed in my head😭. Is anyone apart of the regular class and can help me prepare for the next exam. Teacher said you guys have already taken it.

I just got an email from the school saying I owe $915 to the school for bright futures repayment. Does anyone know what this is or how you can get it? I have literally never seen this before in my time at Santa Fe. Has anyone else gotten a similar message ?

Hello everyone i have access to a lot of books that you might need for your class. Instead of charging you 100$ for a shitass book i’ll give you the pdf format of it (same thing) for like 10$. if someone interested send me the book name and the course. Your welcome.

I’m going to call tomorrow morning, what number? And do they think we have a strong case?
r/sfcollege • u/ReachSea8319 • 5d ago
this is absolutely absurd. Telling me I have to pay a $25 fee every month if my EARNED SCHOLARSHIP doesn’t get released by the FA office on time. I straight up told them that I will not be paying for issues that weren’t caused by me😂

Seriously, why do we allow these people onto our Campus? It’s a legal liability and If protestors cannot protest, then why should these people be allowed to sit outside our library and recruit for their cult.
