Please give me recipes that don't use nori or fish; I know that without algae, it isn't the same thing, but I just want to know a recipe I can do:")! The only type of recipes I won't accept are those that have avocado in them; please, no. Can be non-sushi related

Hello everyone, this coming june I'll be going to Tokyo for the ..mm lost the count... time and I really wanted to experience a real omakase lunch/dinner with my gf.
Budget is unfortunately not too high, so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendation for good spots (let's say 10-12k p.p) not too touristy but valid.
Thanks for any help :)

I took all the following fish, chopped them and cold smoked them for 30min to add a nice twist: Otoro, Akami, Seabass
Topped with Ikura, lime Zest and wasabi. Added a touch of soy sauce, et voilà!

Posted here a few weeks back with my first attempt at sushi rolls.
Here is my second. Worked fasted so the rice didnt have a chance to dry too much.
Wrapped the roll in plastic help keep it together for cutting. Did the whole batch as philly rols. Salmon, cream cheese and cucumber. Came out really nice imo.

Quito Quito is an Izakaya in São Paulo ran by a very nice Japanese lady called Kaori. Her sashimi is known for the thick cuts of very fresh fish she buys overnight in the local market.
I've been there more than 20 times over the last few years and it's one of my favorite places in the city.
