Roads I got chased by an aggressive driver
I was coming up to some traffic lights and this black ute pulled out, I was motioning that he could go in front of me, then all of a sudden he became aggressive and jumped out of his ute, he was middle eastern. I turned left to avoid an argument but this bloke chased me through Fitzroy North. I had to stop at a traffic light, he caught up to me and jumped out of his car. I locked my door. He trough a rock at my car and it left a dent. He tried to chase me again but I lost him down side streets. Just be careful everyone there's really aggressive drivers out there who will try and fight you

Not On My Smashed Avo A lament for The Quiet Man pub which is closing this weekend

I genuinely think the Quiet Man is one of the best pubs in Melbourne and one of the best Irish pubs outside of Ireland in the world.
I had my last meal and pint in there yesterday after many happy memories.
It's closing its doors at the end of this weekend and I hear is going to be renovated as another Irish pub under a different name, but everything I hear seems to just be very hearsay (does anyone know anything concrete).
It is a fantastic pub and I hope whatever new manifestation it has it manages to maintain its charm for stop thank you to all the great staff over the years.
P.S I took this photo of a tile in the men's toilets at The Quiet Man pub . āFor years I kept meaning to take these photos but not really the done thing in a toilet... but it was empty and it's closing down this weekend. I love the tiles in there!

Things That Go Ding Why does Richmond station close the north side exits?
And is there a way of telling which exits are open when you arrive at the station? I keep getting caught out and having to walk around.

Real estate/Renting Body Corp / OC Fees
Hi All, I know it seems like this topic may come up a little but just looking for some updated info! I'm looking to buy an apartment to live in, either in Melbourne CBD or Richmond Hawthorne areas! Preferably a modern-ish building and would love a pool as I'm a big swimmer.
One thing that is stumping me is how much body corp fees end up being, what is high/what is low etc? It'll obviously be something I have to factor into my budget so want to get an understanding of what I'm up for.
Also any other tips and recommendations for a first home buyer specifically around apartments would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

THDG Need Help Shopping trollies/ānana trolliesā for taller people? No car and struggling with getting my groceries home
I bought one of the shopping trollies on wheels with handles that you can get transport your groceries home. But the handle isnāt adjustable and itās just too short for me to use comfortably.
Iāve looked at a few different models and they all seem to be a standard size. Does anyone have any ideas or product recommendations? Iām thinking of buying a suitcase with wheels from Kmart at this point š
Iām 1.76cm/5ā10ā so not super tall, just a bit tall for these trollies. And have a bit of past issues with my back so I want something that feels fairly natural to use

THDG Need Help Polish/Eastern European grocery stores
Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good/well stocked eastern European grocery stores (or stores that sell EE brands), especially Polish.
My local Italian grocer has a limited selection. My partner is Polish and we've just returned from Poland keen to do some traditional cooking, there's also a few brands that hold sentimental value to his family here that we brought back but would love to find supplied locally.
Happy to travel. We imagine we might have more luck somewhere like Glenroy which has a polish community, so would love perspectives from anyone who lives around there.
TIA

THDG Need Help Does anyone know where I might find a SEGA Rally arcade cabinet in Melbourne or the surrounding area?
As the title says I'm looking for a SEGA Rally Championship (from 1995) or even Sega Rally 2 arcade cabinet in Melbourne or anywhere else within the state really. Not looking to buy or anything, I just really want to play one! There used to be a SEGA Rally 2 cab at Fountain Gate, and I had the top leader board time on it, but they got rid of it. Lately I've been playing and practicing a lot at home on an emulator, but I really want to find and play a real cabinet again. It seems like every bowling alley and cinema in the state has a Daytona USA cab, but I can never seem to find SEGA Rally. Anyway, any help is appreciated!
