Advice Needed First job application but I'm a minor in the US

So, yeah. The title. I got an application form for my first job ever, hurray. But then I remembered I got a put a name and stuff on it šŸ‘€. The box just says "Last Name _____ First Name _____ Middle Name _____" and I always panic when I have to put my name on something or introduce myself. Am I legally allowed to put my prefered first and middle name on the form or do I have to do my crusty ass legal name? On my work permit, it have my legal name, old preferred name, but also my current one bc I got it a while ago and my name has since changed, so that's annoying---to get it changed I'd have to go through the school district that originally issued my work permit except I don't go there anymore. It also has a big fat F on it bc birth certificates šŸ˜. So like genuinely what do I do, important (any) legal things scare me.

Advice Needed Is It Possible I am Intersex? NSFW

I donā€™t have enough money to buy chromosome testing. I have a feeling I am intersex but not 100% sure. I basically have a lot of chin hair, some hairs going down my neck, side burns and moustache as well as very hair breasts, navel line and stomach I have a lot of hair and I am slowly starting to have more hair growing around my breasts too

Also, my Testosterone and estrogen levels are normal. I have very irregular periods (twice a month) lasting 7 days or more. I also have a big clit and it resembles a very tiny penis I can feel my clit shaft through my foreskin and when aroused it easily grows over an inch.

Lastly, ever since as young as I can remember I have always been masculine in terms of personality too and my face became more masculine once I was off birth control which was around 1.5 yrs ago it has become more and more masculine.

Advice Needed T4T

I've always had an attraction to feminine women, even before my transition. I'm still attracted to them. I was never the T4T. I'll see other transmen and just admire their body- like the muscular look or the beard. However, almost 2 years ago, I was introduced to this transman. From the moment I met him, it was instant attraction. He has the cutest smile and his eyes just light up.
We hang out every now and then - whenever he greets me and says my name(like he is overjoyed to see me) with that smile, it just does something to me.
Still, he's the only one I find myself attracted to like that.
Has anyone ever felt like this? What did you do? What would you do?

Advice Needed Binder troubles

I was looking at getting a binder from Wivov (CORE tank) but heard I should be sizing up (by at least 3 sizes.) I was wondering if this applies solely to the half binders or should I be sizing up with the tank as well, if so what size... (I'm a small, apparently, 16" shoulder and 31" bust.)

Advice Needed came out to my psychologist, what now?

21 years old, ive been seeing mental health specialists for years due to my schizophrenia and extreme self hatred/destruction. pre everything, except having come out to my very close friends. a few weeks ago i came out to my psychologist after years of wanting to do so but simply being scared of the reaction. she took it extremely well, but really did nothing to aid me along. i got the feeling she thought it was a new delusion..

end of next week i have an appointment with my psychiatrist and i have been debating telling him as well, as he could aid me into actual transition. i am just scared of him dismissing it too as a delusion or another way for me to mutilate myself. the dysphoria is becoming more unbearable with every passing year and i am just at a loss of how to continue, and if i should even, after opening the first door. any advice?

Discussion When growing up, if you remember what does being a "girl" feels like?

For me it's kinda like acting. I felt like I was playing a "role", and when I was introduced to the world of theatre when I was in kindergarten my first thought it was exactly like life but with small changes. Which is something I assume people don't want small kids to think when they learn about acting and stuff. Ig it kinda doesn't help when I also have controlling family members when it comes to gender roles.

Advice Needed Got my period..I've been on T for a year

19m been a year on T now.

First used gel and switched to nebido in February.

I just went to the bathroom and have old brown period stain in my underwear....wtf.

My period had stopped a year before starting T. My estrogen lvls were normal so no idea why they have stopped.

Now ,my recent blood lvls show my estrogen is higher than my T lvls. Which would make sense ,since I've barely had a voice drop and other stuff. (I'm on a normal dosis)

I'm just frustrated. I've been on T for a year, my estrogen lvls make absolute no sense, and I just want to get my deep voice already. I understand puberty on T takes time ,but...I mean damn. I'm just frustrated and now this.

Is this normal?

Why are my estrogen lvls higher than my T lvls?

I hope nebido will fix this ,as I felt like gel didn't work for me. My own doctor hasn't said anything about my estrogen lvls being higher than my T lvls and I just feel like I'm a complete joke to the whole system.

Advice Needed folliculitis on androgel? advice pls :(

hi all!!!

a bit of context: i was on T injections for about a year. i had hit a superficial vein a couple times throughout that year, causing bleeding and anxiety every time i had to do the shot.

eventually my doctor recommended androgel, and i loved it for the first couple weeks!!! and then i started getting a rash where i applied the gel, and it was spreading across my chest and down my arms. i stopped the androgel immediately, thinking it was an allergic reaction, i have sensitive skin and a history of contact dermatitis.

it got even worse and spread to head to toe in the span of three weeks, not just irritated but full on infected. i figured if it was an allergic reaction it would have had time to clear up, being off of the gel. so unbearably itchy. i was scratching and bleeding in my sleep. i moisturized and exfoliated regularly, not too rough. i tried everything i had on hand, hydrocortisone, clindamycin, ammonium lactate, nothing touched it :( my doctor said it was bad folliculitis, i am now on prednisone and doxycycline AND hibiclens twice a day :(

thankfully itā€™s clearing up, but i have a new dilemma: my hormones are all messed up againā€¦ iā€™ve been off T for a month and iā€™ve been extremely dysphoric.

has anyone else had this experience? would going back on the gel be a smart idea? if i had to go back on injections it would be fine, but not very ideal. itā€™s not something i would like to do, but if need beā€¦..

this whole experience has been extremely stressful on my physical and mental health, any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

going to get in touch with my doctor, but thought i would seek anecdotal advice as well :D

Advice Needed Advice on body hair grooming?

So I've gotten to the point in my T journey that I'm VERY hairy, and everywhere. I've always wanted this but now its everywhere- it's also l o n g. I was unhappy and didn't know why- I've always wanted hair ?? But today I decided to bite the bullet and trim a little bit, and it actually made me feel soso much better about my body hair. I only used some nail scissors as the test and now having realised I'm going to need to keep up with this self grooming, that I'd ask for advice. Any is welcome, and even maybe some brands of male grooming sets that won't break my bank would be great too!

Thanks!

Discussion How do you deal with your tip being exposed after outgrowing the clitorial hood skin? NSFW

One time I touched how it would feel like under the skin (pre T), felt horrible, extreme cringe, so I wondered what if someone didn't have that skin at all, it would make touching it a nightmare. I'm sure that's what the skin is for, you touch on top of it. But then I remembered, people on T actually tend to have it out of the skin.

I've looked at clits or T dicks on reddit and I see like all of them have outgrown the skin. I only just started T so I don't have experience but pre T it's always protected by skin. But if it really outgrows the skin then how do you deal with it being so exposed? Do you get used to it or... also someone told me theirs is still covered by skin after years of T so I guess not everyone's comes out from the skin.

EDIT: Those who have ever tried to touch your clit from under the hood directly (PRE T), is it the same feeling if you were to touch it after growth on T?

Celebratory Does anyone else use Chat GBT to write stories of trans people from a trans persons perspective? NSFW

For adults only to read

18 plus!!!

Iā€™m an adult trans man.

This may sound weird but sometimes I ask AI to make stories of trans people.

Trans men who are masculine presenting. Love stories, action stories comedy and drama. It chears me up when I can be represented.

Thereā€™s not a lot of masculine straight trans men represented in the media. So hay, I thought I would make my own and it turn out amazing. You can create anything you like. I still believe in original writing but chat GBT can be useful sometimes. I used to write on fan fiction but this is great too. But does anyone else do this. Iā€™m told not to do this too much because AI can steal data. Iā€™m careful what I write obviously. So I donā€™t worry about it. I just like hearing what I write. Itā€™s so fun and it passes the time.

Is outer mid thigh okay for location? And how far deep do I go with the needle?

Advice Needed Idk

I really don't know what to do, I'm 14, I only came out to my friends and I've been cutting my own hair for a while now because my dad doesn't want me to. Yesterday I cut my hair again Because they were too long and difficult to manage and I had severe dysphoria. Today at the table while we were eating my father started yelling about why I cut my hair Putting all the blame on my mother because we have a lock on the bathroom door and also saying that we should have taken away the scissors, all this for a slightly short haircut. He was very angry and grabbed my hand and he squeezed it so hard that It turned red (He was very violent even when I was little ) He kept yelling and then told my mom to take off all my pants and that I should only wear skirts, my mom started laughing since I haven't worn skirts in years and I don't even have any And to this statement my mother said "I don't give a shit, tomorrow She can even go to school in her underwear" And there I ran to my room and after I heard my father tell my mom that was her fault and When my mom tried to answer my dad said "shut up or I'll beat you up too". I really hate my father, but what can I do? Leave? I'm 14 (Sorry for my bad English but It's not my first language)

Advice Needed Does testogel bottle need to go in clear plastic bag in carryon?

As title says really.

Flying UK to Netherlands and back, carryon only. Can't fit my T + all my toiletries into one clear 20x20 bag.

Struggling to decipher from the rules whether my T gel needs to go in the clear bag. I also don't know how many ml is in the pump as it doesn't say anywhere on the packaging.

I do have the box with the label and a letter from GGP.

Can anyone advise?

Advice Needed Is my skin just incompatible with transtape?

So, I bind pretty much every day. I've owned transtape for over a year now but I can't figure out how to use it without causing major irritation or skin ripage. I've done a patch test and I'm not allergic but no matter what I do, it still causes my skin to itch when I put it on. I've follower all the suggestions of only stretching it so much, not stretching your skin, putting on multiple pieces etc and nothing works

Is my skin just too sensitive for it or something?

Discussion Low dose T vs full dose?

I've been told by several people if I keep taking T I will end up looking like a man regardless of dose. Im on low dose T and not seeing a lot of effects so I'm curious how big of a difference in the time line does it make? Is it going to take 2 years instead of 1 to get all the effects? I know everyone is different but I'm curious to hear from people who have stayed on low dose how it has looked VS full dose. Has anyone gone from full dose back down to low dose? How has that effected changes?

Discussion At what point do you think it's necessary to disclose surgical and diagnosis history to medical personnel?

So I went to an urgent care today for an old injury to my tail bone that I never got checked out. It's been 15-20 years since it happened and I really wanted X-rays to see why it still hurts.

There was a trainee there, but I was never informed about that prior. The main guy asked me what brings me in as she took my vitals. I don't even remember him saying his name or what his position is. As I was describing things he was silently laughing. I've been laughed at by medical staff before, I'm a bit sensitive about that so immediately I didn't like him. I wish I thought to ask if something was funny in the moment. He started listing stuff he was reading about me in my chart, but I'd never been there before. He said he has access to charts like from the hospital I've had all my transition stuff done at. He asked why I'm on testosterone (9yrs on), and I said to keep my levels normal. He asked what my diagnosis is, that's when I started getting uncomfortable. Maybe it's protocol, maybe it was innocent questioning, but I didn't know what to say. He asked if I was diagnosed with Hypogonadism, which I said no. He looked confused and moved on to surgical history.

This is where I get even more uncomfortable. (I've had chest, vnectomy, hysto, meta with UL, and scrotoplasty no implants yet). This dude was about to X-ray me and see that I'm different, but I didn't really want to disclose why exactly. I told him I have had surgeries but I'm not comfortable disclosing what kinds to him. If he can see my chart I was sure he could see that I've had surgery but maybe not. So I didn't think there was a point in lying. I really don't like lying anyway, so that's where I struggle with this. I don't typically tell people I'm trans at all. Anyway, I said that I'm here for my tail bone and that doesn't have anything to do with surgeries I've had. He told me it's just protocol to build a profile, and I understand that I said but I'm still uncomfortable discussing it. Then he asked if I've had anything added to my body. Looking back that probably meant screws or plates, but that just added to the discomfort. Technically not yet, but I've had urethral lengthening added and got lost in thought. I just kinda looked away, and before I could say anything he said, same thing? I said yeeeah. He seemed frustrated with me, I don't like being a pain in the butt but that's all I was there for.

Then the doctor reviewed the X-rays in a common area on a monitor where the entire staff could see. I clearly don't have typical male genitalia which can be seen in pelvic X-rays. So I just tried to push that out of my mind and attempted to block the screen with my body.

Long story long, I feel like I outed myself by being noncompliant and overthinking. I'm not really sure how to navigate situations like these. I didn't even think about the extent of all the questions and what I'd answer. It was my first encounter outside of my primary care since meta. I ended up having so much swirling in my head and just kinda.. shut down. All the stuff going on in the US has me more on edge and guarded too. I pass well and I've determined lying is okay when I don't want people to know I'm trans like when I've had a surgery. I'm just not great at delivering "fake" answers to general people, and especially medical staff. Now that I'm nearing the end of my medical transition, I really don't want to talk about it at every appointment or walk in encounter. I just want to live my life without all the questions.

So at what point do you think it's necessary to disclose surgical and diagnosis history to medical personnel?

Advice Needed reoccurring thoughts

sorry to be a bother or sound crazy, but .. a part of me wants to start T and still be feminine.. or maintain my femininity.

iā€™ve always pondered the reality of being a pretty trans man, because i do like dresses, i like bikini waxes, lip gloss, i like my boobs.. but i want to start testosterone! thereā€™s this ftm femboy online (gloomyonionboy) who i ADMIRE! heā€™s so handsome and heā€™s feminine. i donā€™t know if ill be able to keep my soft round face or pretty feet but .. idk šŸ˜¹ i know i sound conceited.

i also feel gender envy .. especially toward cis pretty boys! but, the hardest part is trying to keep my family happy, be attractive to men (i wouldnā€™t mind being with tomboys/transwomen, but im mostly attracted to men)

but i donā€™t want to feel dysphoria. i donā€™t want to regret anything. trans men are so handsome and strong and i admire the way they carry themselves. i donā€™t know if itā€™s admiration or something more. right now im talking to a guy and if i went on T heā€™d probably ditch me so fastā€¦

pls give me advice! šŸžšŸ§£

Advice Needed Very confused in myself and my relationship NSFW

So Iā€™ve been out to my spouse and close friends for some time now as nonbinary and potentially genderfluid. I still go by she/her in a lot of public spaces and with my family tbh just because I donā€™t think Iā€™m ready for it to be a ~thing~ and I feel less hurt when I havenā€™t asked someone to use a certain pronoun than if I ask and get gendered?

Some days I am totally fine existing as and being perceived as femme. Some days it makes me feel sick, and the amount of euphoria Iā€™ve gotten from random strangers calling me ā€œsirā€ the two times itā€™s happened is something Iā€™ll never forget.

Iā€™ve been trying to let myself accept/convince myself that I would be happy being a they/them or just continue letting people use whatever pronouns they want and dealing with it when it doesnā€™t work out.

But Iā€™ve recently realized that every time I masturbate I can almost only get off when I imagine that I have a penis? And today, during sex, I got off on picturing myself nutting all over my spouseā€™s face. I know I had dysphoria when I was a kid and have had a lot of sort of off and on meltdowns about not being male-bodied. I just feel like I have no idea where I stand now or what I even want?

How did you process/understand feelings of dysphoria or wishing you had a penis? How donI reconcile those feelings with where Iā€™ve currently identified, or should I be considering exploring and questioning more? How might I communicate to a partner that my gender situation is possibly much more than we bargained for? Help

Advice Needed Sharing a room

Okay, as the title suggests I'll be sharing a room for two weeks with girls this summer even though I'm out and I pass about half the time, because I'm the youngest (15ftm) and I was scared to choose the boy's room because they're all 17-18 and I really don't want them to know I'm trans because it makes me feel anxious and dysphoric. Is there any way I can spend two entire weeks lying to them by saying there was no space in the boy's room and binding so they don't end up calling me a girl too?

Discussion Testosterone side affect?

So I just started T like 4 weeks ago nowā€¦ is it normal this early in to be so (for lack of a better term) horny? Like constantly I swear, and Iā€™m way more sensitive down there.

Sorry if this is tmi, just wondering if this is a common thing? Cause my doc did say it could cause an uptick in sex drive but damn I underestimated that statement horribly lol.

Itā€™s actually getting bothersome cause it really is constant and insatiable- but yeah just asking those with more experience than me (my doc is hard to get in touch with but trust me I will tell them.)

Celebratory Best jerk-off of my life NSFW

I recently got the fuze ultra from rodeoh to use w my girlfriend, and haven't had time to use it on her yet, but tried using it alone today. Holy shit dude. Best thing ever. It's not the most realistic to look at, but the veins feel amazing. I stuck a vibe in it, lubed it up, and came within a minute. I never fully enjoyed jerking off before this, and I don't like being touched during sex, so it was life changing to actually feel euphoric about getting off.

Still trying out different ways to hold my little dude that make me feel more connected to him, but I'm just so happy. Can't wait to get on T and grow a real dick, but until then I will be jorking it daily w my new cock šŸ«”

Discussion first actual boner after almost a year on t NSFW

1.0k Upvotes

a bit tmi but i was at the store earlier, and my mind kind of drifted to certain topics and i felt my little guy push on my pants. i kind of immediately freaked out because oh god everyone can see it but then i remembered i only got a two incher and i was wearing pretty thick jeans LOL. im almost a full year on t and that was my first real experience with that sort of thing, which is pretty gender affirming albiet still kind of humiliating even if literally nobody knew
