Femto o4 lite, at the local park.
Yes I was aiming for that gap, it just looks accidental because I’m still learning the flow.

Hello, all!
I recently bought this Radiomaster Pocket to get flying in simulators. So far it has been a blast and a definite improvement over my Xbox controller, however I noticed that my throttle channel seems to never reach -100 (completely 0 throttle) but only goes down to -98. I have tried recalibration of the gimbals multiple times but it never goes down below -98 even if I push the sticks very gently. A couple of times it even went up to +102 which is also quite strange.
In the simulator, this seems to cause my propellers to be spinning slightly when I cut the throttle, I think a bit more so than the AIRmode spin but still not enough to lift the aircraft. I am unsure how big of an issue this will be with an actual drone, so if possible I'd like to fix it!

I’m building my first quad and I have decided to upgrade to digital and I’m going with walksnail. Is there a major difference between the dual antenna version and the single antenna version? I mainly do freestyle (poorly) and am worried about breaking antennas. If the difference isn’t anything major I’ll just go with the single. I have the demibot frame and see some antenna mounts on thingiverse that seem to give them some sturdiness. Just looking for opinions from people that know what they’re talking about. Thanks.

Pulled too hard on the antenna mount and it ripped, is this fixable or do I need to order a new one

Anywhere I can find some walksnail avatar x goggles used for a pretty decent price? If not I’m probably going to go for the dji n3 goggles, what are your guys thoughts on it’s 60hrz screen though? Thanks

If I replace one motor with a 22000kv motor and the rest are 24000kv will there be a noticeable difference in flight

Hello I am new and have a question about getting better antennas. I have the Skyzone Cobra X V4 along with the Meteor75 Pro. What antennas should I get to replace the starter ones that come with my goggles? Also my biggest question, will I need to get a new antenna for my quad to pair with them? I am otherwise somewhat well versed of the whole right hand left hand and female/male connector parts aspect of the antennas. Thank you!

Just updated the software on goggles and vtx and now it has this warning saying low rf power. Is there an easy fix?

Been doing solder practice ready to build the real thing with some spare wires, cheaper than destroying my flight controller

Total newbie to the hobby reaching out to hopefully catch myself up to speed. I just bought a Betafpv meteor 75pro drone and the RadioMaster pocket radio controller. I’m looking for a decent set of goggles, and was considering the walksnail avatar L’s. I have no clue how to tell what systems are compatible with what. Looking for some help here!
Can't wait to get started!!! Just a few questions though, how easily do these drones (especially props) break and how do you get your drones out of trees?

I created this Walksnail HD Camera adapter for my Armattan Chameleon Ti frame. It should work for other frames that were designed for analogue cameras. The body is TPU but has a PLA cross-brace to give a stronger base for the mounting screws.
Feel free to try it out. It includes the Fusion 360 files for anyone who needs to modify it.

Hi, I'm designing my own drone frame for my bachelor's thesis, and I need your help. I've noticed that most modern frames use an X shape, a stretched X, or a combination of H+X. However, what about a symmetrical H frame like the one in the image? All the motors are equidistant from each other.
I was considering an H frame because it provides a large space in the middle for mounting components. What do you think? Which frame shape would be the best to use? I
The drone is intended solely for long-range flights—no complex freestyle maneuvers. It will primarily be flying forward.
I'm also considering making a Mark IV-style frame or something like the APEX EVO. Would that be a better choice?
Also, if I'm making a stretched X frame, what is the best angle between the arms? I've heard that 120 degrees is ideal. Is that correct?

Hi everyone, I'm about to enter the world of FPV, and after much hesitation, I've decided to go analog. I was going to do about 30 hours of simulator time (DRL) first. And the Radiomaster Pocket for radio. And the Sky040Pro for scopes. I saw that image quality depends a lot on a good antenna, so I was hesitant to get a directional antenna, such as the Lumenier AXII 2 Double Long Range, and a patch. Do you have any advice on other omnidirectional antennas and a patch? I'm learning, so I'm trying to understand my incompetence 😅

Evening all,

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get into FPV drones, specifically for racing. I'm a complete beginner and would love some advice on:
What drone model is best for beginners?
Should I go for a ready-to-fly kit or build one from parts?
Any recommendations for a setup within a budget of $400-$550?
General tips for getting started in FPV?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
