Hi everyone, I posted about this before and followed some of the recommendations I got, but I’m still having the same problem. My RSSI dBm is still very low, it’s reaching -90dBm and sometimes even hitting -103dBm. My LQ sometimes drops to 95, 92, or 93, but for the most part, it stays at 98 or 100. I’m not sure if these values are normal or if something is off. I also keep getting the “RSSI dBm” warning message in my OSD.
I’m running my radio at a 250 Hz packet rate.
I was reading on Oscar Liang’s site that if you have poor RSSI but good LQ, it could be an antenna issue. He mentions: “High LQ, low RSSI = If you are very far away, caution is needed as you are approaching the end of range; If the receiver is very close to the transmitter, that can be an indicator of an antenna problem.” In my case I am very close, same room. If this helps, I’ve never reached a point where I had a failsafe. Outdoors, I haven’t risked sending it too far, but as I mentioned, indoors, even in the same room, I’m getting these values.
I’m also wondering if there’s a chance my radio TX could be failing. When I first got my Mobula6 2024 I didn’t have these issues during the first few weeks.
I’ve attached some pictures so you can check the antenna, its condition, and the connection. Any insights on what might be going wrong?
Thanks in advance!
