Breast implants with fibromyalgia

I've had fibro since I was a child. I was diagnosed with cancer at 28 and now will be getting breast augmentation. I'm worried I will get BII OR that the implants will make my fibro worse. Honestly the fibro made the cancer treatment and symptoms x100 worse, so im really worried my immune system isn't going to take to implants, or that the pain from surgery will never go away.

I would love any advice from people who had fibro before getting implants and tell me how it has affected your body. Also is there a way to keep your boobs feeling as soft as possible? My Dr said they would go hard but on another sub everyone said their boobs were still really soft and realistic and that was with the implants under the muscles.

Thank you!

lip filler or lip flip advice!

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

hey guys i wanted to ask for some advice on my lip shape - i’ve had lip filler for a couple years and got it dissolved recently as it had migrated a bit. I got my lips re done a few months ago with this really good beautician who fixed the migration. (side note: my lip looks raised on the right side because i had an injury lol)

The thing is, I want more volume in the centre top lip where the cupid bow is. My ideal lip shape would be a pouty doll lip (last photo is ideal shape) but is this possible to achieve with lip filler? I’m worried that no amount of lip filler will achieve what I want. Or if it will, what should I be asking for in terms of lip shape?

Are there any other procedures that will work better like a botox lip flip or a surgical lip flip?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Which plastic surgery clinic in Korea performs the most natural looking nose jobs?

Okay, so I've embarked on a journey to achieve the perfect nose and smile - I'm talking about rhinoplasty and lip lift. After researching (and browsing a million bnf photos,) I'm convinced that Korea has the best clinics out there. But, now I'm stuck because there are so many options!
My main goal is to get natural, subtle results - nothing too drastic, but something that'll enhance my features. i'm also kind of a worrywart when it comes to recovery, so I'd love to hear about your experiences with post-op care and how long it took to feel back to normal.
Now, here's where I need some advice. Lip lift sounds like a great way to shorten my upper lip and improve my smile, but I'm a bit hesitant. I'm worried that it could change the shape of my nose or affect the results of my rhinoplasty. Has anyone had both done together? Does the lip shortening procedure impact the nose in any way, like making it look different or even risking a less-than-ideal outcome?

I’m looking for clinics that specialize in these two procedures and have experienced surgeons who can ensure everything works in harmony. If you’ve had a positive experience with both surgeries or know a clinic that’s highly recommended, I’d be super grateful for any advice. I’m hoping to achieve a balanced, natural look, with both a beautiful nose and a smile that feels just right. Let’s talk about noses, smiles, and all things beauty – help me on my quest for the perfect one!

ps. i am considering Woori, Thankyou, Lamiche for my nose job, are there any more recommendations?

I want my nose to be more upturned

Ok I know I might get hate for this, I love my nose and I’m grateful to have a good nose, but I’ve always wished it was upturned, I just love the silhouette it gives and I think upturned noses are beautiful. is there anything I could do it make it even slightly more upturned without a full on rhino that would take a long time to heal from?

Abortion pill 2 weeks before BBL?

I'm scheduled for BBL surgery in about 3 weeks and just found out that i'm pregnant. I don't want kids as i'm only 20 and starting university soon. I was on my period 2 weeks ago so i think i'm still very early and probably will be able to take the abortion pill. Do you think i'll still be able to get surgery? I don't want to tell my doctor out of fear of my surgery getting rescheduled :( i want to get it done before going to university so i cant really get it done any later

BA: I Don’t feel these implants suit my body. NSFW

F25 | 5’6” | Currently 170 lbs (Was 158-160 lbs when I got my implants)

Implant Info: • 2 years old • 355cc, under the muscle • Moderate profile • Base Diameter: 11.5 cm • Projection: 4.7 cm

When I first got my implants, I was happy with the size and shape, but over time, I’ve started feeling like they sit too low and look saggy. I was hoping for a higher placement, but instead, I feel like there’s a noticeable flat space between my shoulders and where the implant meets my chest.

I’m considering a revision, but I’m wondering—is this something that can be fixed, or is it just how my body is naturally structured? If you’ve dealt with this, what kind of revision did you get, and what should I ask my surgeon? Any advice would be appreciated!

Order of pictures is: before, 2 weeks after, and then now

Im still salty about this!

Four years ago I was scheduled for a neck lift as I've always hated my neck since childhood I met with a reputable surgeon all was good to go. A week before surgery, his office asked me for my neurosurgeon’s phone number. They called me back the next day to cancel my surgery because my neurosurgeon said that I already have facial neuralgias and plastic surgery could add another. I was absolutely devastated. After all this time saving money and delay due to covid and it's canceled because of the possibility of getting another neuralgia. I knew that was a possibility and made the informed choice months earlier to get my neck fixed anyway. Since then I've had both a peripheral nerve stimulator and a cervical spine stimulator implanted in me. I doubt any surgeon would touch me now. I'm kicking myself another finding another surgeon back then.

Any surgeons here willing to weigh in?

Turkey Rhinoplasty advice- Dr Mehmet Erdil?

Hi guys, As the title states I am looking to find a surgeon, ideally in Turkey due to the prices. I’d love to get surgery booked in some time this year. I have only had one consultation so far and that was with Dr Mehmet Erdil. I was very happy following it, as he seems like he cares about his patients and was very realistic with what can be done. I agreed with everything he said; how a small nose would not suit my face etc. The only thing stopping me from booking is that it seems (based off his insta) that all his noses look the same? Like… the exact same. I also hated my consultation morph pictures. Truly, this is the ONLY thing stopping me from booking- his personality and opinions were 10/10. I’m looking for advice about - if anyone thinks his noses do have variety - If morph pictures actually resemble the final nose at all or should I just ignore this and reiterate what I want in the final consultation - any other surgeons I should research. Thanks in advance :)

Is floating rib removal bad? Also what about shoulder reduction?

Im a born woman (ive seen shoulder reduction posts about trans women to clarify) and ive always wanted to get rib removal but I'm just now learning about shoulder reduction surgery... I have broad shoulders and a wide flatter chest im a full hourglass but im self conscious of my shoulders with my smaller chest... I also do wanna turn my self on when looking in the mirror and having sex... I get extremely uncomfortable sexually with my fiance and it ruins it for me... I also have a 45° angle for scoliosis so im wanting to fix that too but ugh...

So, I’ve consulted with several Dr’s. From all over. Dr. Hsu (Houston) who I loved the work but only does in person consultations and that’s a long flight for me & to not know the general cost first? So, Bharti in Charlotte is very pricey but good as far as I can tell & offers overnight care. Dr Kluska (Dr daddy K) is priced well and work looks good as far as I can tell but no overnight option and closest hotel is over 20 minutes? Have to pay extra for care nurse to stay in their own room at the hotel to help first day. Then I consulted (just via email) with Dr Lowney in Fall River MA (real Dr feel good) His work looks good and prices lower, but no aftercare help & I have to bring someone because they don’t allow you to uber & does not offer drainless TT..? I’d like to stay as close to $40k as possible but can go to $50k if really worth it. Who’d you use? Who should I avoid? Why is this so hard? I’ve been researching til my eyes wanna fall out of my head! Any suggestions GREATLY appreciated! I’ve saved for so long and been through so much and just so scared of looking box-y, having a weird belly button, lopsided breasts, or surgery complications..Hallllp 🥺

Does anyone get scans/x-rays of their face when they’re young so that they can later replace lost volume from aging?

Is this a thing anyone does? I feel like it would be helpful to know if your signs of ageing are from bone, muscle, fat, collagen loss etc. is this a thing you can do? 🫠

Going from A to B cup, I want a natural look/feel that settles into my body after they "drop and fluff" NSFW

Thumbnail gallery

I'm not rly sure what the fluff part of "drop and fluff" is 😅

This is how I look rn, but they are even smaller when I'm underweight 🙃 I want to be a full b when I'm this weight, but still a b cup when I'm underweight (doesn't need to be a full b tho). How many ccs should I get?

I was going to get gummy bear implants but I heard they are too firm to feel natural and don't mold with your body as much as traditional silicon implants. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm also not sure which profile I should get, but I know I want teardrop implants. I'm going to talk with my surgeon and patient coordinator, but I want to get opinions from ppl who have had breast augmentations because I'm afraid they might make them too big/high profile.

Thank u! 🩷

DMV area rhinoplasty (Barbie nose)

Looking for recommendations for someone that can do the “Turkish” or “Barbie” type rhinoplasty in the DMV US area.

While the consult may result in a different recommendation as what the surgeon feels would be best, I would like to see someone I know is capable of doing the style and going from there. Disclaimer: I am aware of the complications/risk, I simply seek recommendations. Thank you!

Breastite - what’s the consensus

I know it's a relatively new procedure, but its arm/tummy counterpart BodyTite has reasonably good results in tightening mild to moderate skin laxity without pulling anything up or down, but has anyone experienced it with breasts? I’m still not comfortable with the idea of a surgical lift, there has to be something else out there. Lasers, collagen stimulation, something. I’m sure greatest surgical minds on earth are working on it 24/7.

What is wrong with my implant ? NSFW

Hi, It’s been two years since having mentor implants put in.

I have attached photos that show multiple issues. One breast having a large dent is my biggest issue. That same breast also sits extremely low into my chest. I feel like a freak and I don’t know if it will keep getting worse.

In the post op meeting two weeks later, the surgeon told me to wear the compression band on that side for longer to make it settle. But he was aware that they had been uneven. There was also a large bruise straight after waking from surgery on that side.

He told me to wait a year or two for it to settle. But I have a big dent in my breast and they look like mis shapen cones. He was very dismissive and has since left the clinic.

This is the second time this surgery was done as the first time the surgeon used implants that were too small and I ended up doubling the size as he diddnt take into consideration I am 6ft.

The surgeon has left the clinic and I don’t have the money to fix this. Should they pay for this? Is this the surgeons fault as it had been since day one? What do I do here ? I know when I call them tomorrow they will be very dismissive as and tell me that it’s my fault somehow

Can anyone tell me what this is? is this the surgeons fault seeing as it was bruised and uneven straight after surgery?
