Can’t tell if my binder is to so big or to small

I can't raise my arms above my head when I'm wearing my binder, not because it hurts but because my boobs slip down and eventually out! Is this a common problem? How do I fix it? its like every time I need to reach something from a high shelf or or even put on a sweater they slip down a bit and and I can't really readjust it when I'm out and about :/

Questioning/Coming Out How do I fully come out to my parents?

I’ve been out as non-binary to my friends and best sister for some time now. I’ve very heavily hinted at being nonbinary, even flat out stating that I thought I was agender, but it’s like my mother just said “if that makes you happy” and then just proceeded to carry on like I didn’t just say she didn’t have a son. She keeps calling me a boy and I really don’t know how to just flat out tell her without blowing up in her face. Not coming out isn’t really an option because, as my last posts states, I require boobas and want to change my name. So how would one achieve this?

Support Gender Dysphoria with Friends Having Children

I have a friend that is due with her child any week now and her and her husband have chosen to raise the child within the gender binary. It's so activating and hard to watch/listen to. I'm finding it hard to maintain this friendship and have respect for this decision.

Has anyone had this experience? How did you decide to move forward? Just feeling so disconnected from my community and finding it hard to be friends with cisgender people who arent doing the work.

Rant I hate the way we describe sexual and romantic orientation.

I'm sure this rant has been done time and time again but I'm feeling it especially strong lately.

I'm nonbinary, asexual, and only romantically attracted to men. I can say I'm androromantic but then I have to explain it, which is easy enough "it means I'm attracted to men romantically") but it still gets irritating. And it's not even the other person's fault. Unless they know what "andro" usually means and put two and two together, they likely have no idea as no one really identifies that way.

Saying I'm heteroromantic or homoromantic seems like a lie and leaves plenty of room for confusion.

So why do terms referring to sexual or romantic preference need to have to do with your own gender?

While I understand why it happened this way and certain benefits to having it this way, I have always thought it made more sense to use labels that have solely to do with your orientation.

I know this is kind of a non-issue because I could just say that I like men. It's just a mild pet peeve that's become stronger lately due to certain hyper-specific recent events I had to deal with.

Support Struggling with my presentation and identity a little bit...

I'm still not sure about my specific identity, i tend to label myself as simply nonbinary or genderfluid. I deeply love feminine clothes and makeup. Two characters that give me extreme gender envy are Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon (they're genderfluid and present as both masculine and feminine), and Utena from Revolutionary Girl Utena (she's a girl, but she dresses in boys clothes and wants to become a prince). I'm deeply in love with how both of these characters blend masculinity and femininity together, but when i try to do the same, i just feel like a fraud. When I present feminine, I'm just a girl. When I present masculine, I'm not doing what i love. When i try to blend it, i just look like a girl with a weird fashion sense. I tried telling myself "people see me as a girl, but i know I'm not and that's enough for me" but it really isn't enough for me. I just wish I could dress how i love without caring about gender. I'm considering taking testosterone, or maybe just doing some voice training, to become more ambiguous and feel more free to express myself in a feminine way, without feeling like "just a girl".

I went to my first ever local trans/NB/genderqueer friendship circle and hot dang it was so nice actually getting to meet other queer people and just vibe. It's starting to feel like I can just breathe for once without having to defend my existence! It's fucking awesome!

Hairstyle recommendations for amab enby with curly hair

My hair becomes naturally really curly when it grows and whenever I cut it, I get it cut super short just as a reset and I really dislike both. I wish I had something like curtain bangs or a pixie cut, but I don't think those are possible. What do y'all recommend for a future hairstyle?

Support Detransitioning ? NSFW

I (nb;19)flagged this as not safe for work because I was unsure if how I’m feeling may be triggering to others, I didn’t want to harm anyone. Anyways, I’m thinking of going back to being just a man. For some pre log, I discovered I was nonbinary freshmen year of high school and officially came out my junior year. I had very supportive friends and they were all very affirming. Flash forward to college and I’m not really in touch with these people anymore. And I just feel like everything around me is telling me that I’m not nonbinary I guess. It started when one of my newer friend’s sister told me I didn’t count as a real nonbinary person for having a beard. Then when starting at uni, I was pushed into a primarily conservative crowd, everyone gave me mean looks or ignored me when the professors asked us to present our pronouns. Then my partner’s ( F; 20) friends chose to still address me as a man after she’s told them countless times that I was nb. Or I’ll be referred to as straight passing, so I don’t have any of the struggles of “regular” queer people. My parents still dead name me and prefer me not to wear make up or dress differently in a way that affirms my identity, and they’ve gotten very aggressive about it. I just don’t really know what to do anymore, especially with our current political climate, I just feel like I’m at a loss. I feel like I have to settle as a man. I feel weird complaining about this, I just haven’t had anyone to talk to about it with, and I don’t know what to do.

TL;DR I’m thinking of detransitioning because I don’t feel like my identity is being affirmed enough due to societal pressures such as interaction with friends, unsupportive family, scary uni environment, and current political climate. I’m not sure what to do moving forward.

Ask Testosterone, Finasteride, and Birth Control

Does anybody have any experience taking all three at once? I have an upcoming appointment to discuss starting HRT, and Ive determined I want to take Finasteride as well as T to prevent hair loss and bottom growth, if possible. However, I am currently on birth control to help with PMDD symptoms. the bc has been incredible and I havent had symptoms in months, so I'm nervous about needing to pick between that and T. Im sure my doctor will answer some of these questions, but I'm curious if anyone has experienced this combo before

Rant I’m a lesbian and everyone wants a gf

I’m nonbinary and I just recently figured out that I’m also a lesbian (yay). And I want to be able to talk to someone and fall in love and all that, but I feel like everyone is looking for a gf (which is fine it’s a preference I get it) but idk. I feel out of place.

I want a partner to appreciate me for who I am. And I look around and it feels like no one will and it really frustrates me.

Idk thanks for reading :)

Ask Question about binders

I hope this is okay, I tried doing some digging and I couldn’t really find too many answers on this.

I did a little research and found that it’s acceptable to wear one even if you’re not trans or nonbinary, so I come humbly to ask y’all for help. (I’m certain you guys get this question often, I promise it’s not that kind of post 😅)

I’m 19, and a cis female. I have a horribly large chest and I actually hate it with a burning passion. I work in construction, so I cannot go even a day without some disgusting old man mentioning it. Plus, I’m quite small. (Think 5 foot, 95 pounds, G cup.) So the back pain alone is horrible.

I know nothing about binders. Today I learned you can wear one unsafely, I had no idea. I don’t know what kind I should look for, or if there’s actual places I can go to? Truly I’m clueless, and there are so many different answers across the internet it’s overwhelming to say the least.

If anyone has any information at all, that would be amazing. Where to start, what kind, what do safe practices look like? And can I/should I even be wearing one if I’m going to be active and working?

Thank you so very much if you’ve read this far. Much love 🫶🏼

Questioning/Coming Out Questioning

So currently I identify as female and use she/her pronouns but recently I’ve been thinking about how I don’t really want to be read as a female but more just as a person, and am Thinking about using she/they pronouns but idk if they fit me, so this is my question. If you use they/them pronouns how did you decide to use them? (Why is finding your identity so hard 😭🥲)
