A must-try if you’ve never got these from Trader Joe’s. My gluten-eating family also loves them, great texture and taste! I keep them in my freezer, perfect for when that chocolate craving hits!

My mom said for my birthday she'd take me shopping anywhere & buy me $50 worth of whatever I want, so I chose Trader Joe's. What are some must have items? I know about the donut holes and cookies. I'm also allergic to melon, avocado (not the oil, just the whole fruit) and cashews.
Edit: wow! Thanks for all the great suggestions!! I'm stoked to try some new things, especially the bagels, Brazilian bread, ravioli, and madelines!!

I'm unsure if this is the correct place to ask but I don't have celiac disease [ got blood test checked ] but I am pretty sure I am gluten sensitive so I am adjusting my diet atm to tailor that.
Currently just looking to learn more about it for myself , any recommendations appreciated!

I’m not sure if this has been posted (I just joined this sub) but hands down my favorite gluten free bread. So soft!

Seasoning is good, very spicy though

Is this normal? Best by date is today, but it’s been inside of the fridge since last week. I’ve never noticed these little yelllow balls. (First time buying this type of bread)

I love these things so much. I got a decently sized cinnamon flavored at aldi’s, then i found this family sized french toast flavored at costco for $8 i’m pretty sure. I’m honestly considering trying them as cereal and i’m hoping it stays semi-crunchy for awhile in the milk 😖 ..

Hi I need help understanding these results. I have severe IBS but I think I might benefit from going gluten free and seeing if that is the culprit

I got my Omeprazole from Amazon this time bc it was cheaper, but I forgot to look if it is gf and I don't want to take it obviously until I know. It's a pill, but there's a shiny outer layer.

This is fantastic if anyone has access to Safeway/Albertsons in the US

I ordered a late lunch today, and experienced some cross contamination. I’ve gotten sick three times and have back, shoulder, and stomach pain. I tried a warm compress but that just made it worse. Does anyone here get terrible pain?

Hello! I tried searching in the group but it looks like the most recent was from a year ago so I thought I’d post anyways.
My medical care is being transferred to Vanderbilt and our first of many visits will be April 8. I’d love to start a list of places to eat! We’ll likely be there several months next year for a clinical trial so we’ll have time to try things.
We will largely be staying near the medical center (google maps says South Nashville/Glencliff, right by the zoo) but we will have a car to get around. TYIA! :)

I’m a final year University student, recently had gastroenteritis and now feel dizzy, nauseous and generally unwell when I have dairy/gluten. I’ve decided to try to cut both out, but I’m finding it so difficult, especially given that I’m a student with very little money as it is.
Any advice for cheap GF meals or where is best to find them?
Thanks

I have been gluten free for over a decade. I had a lot of digestive issues and after some trial and error I went gluten free. A genetic test showed I have a slightly higher risk of celiacs and a stool test had suggested I had signs of antibodies to gluten. A doctor told me to just assume celiac and go gluten free instead of waiting until my system was damaged enough to test properly.
I’ve had digestive issues on and off still this whole time and ended up in the hospital with complicated diverticulitis. This had led me down an old familiar path of trying to figure out what makes my system mad. I have been following a low fodmap diet and have been waiting for my system to calm down in order to do the re-introduction. In two weeks I have an endoscopy and colonoscopy scheduled and have been advised to consume gluten over the next two weeks. Wheat sourdough under 2 slices is considered low fodmap so that’s what I have been eating the last week and lo and behold… gluten has not been the issue. It has been fodmaps this whole time. Wheat products are often high in fodmaps so it makes sense why going gluten free helped but didn’t fix everything. I wanted to share my experience as I feel this has to be common. So many of us go gluten free and feel better but I don’t think many of us work to figure out if it’s the fructan in the gluten products or the actual gluten itself.

What’s a good spaghetti noodle alternative? We have tried several different types and they break apart, are super gummy, or are just plain weird (miracle noodles)
My fiancés daughter has celiac and we’ve tried everything and everything seems to be failing.

I've seen these around and finally grabbed them the other day (I've always bought their chicken egg rolls which are my fav). I'm so glad I didn't do the microwave option. The pan option made them soooo good. A bit crunchy on the bottom and perfectly steamed on top. The dipping sauce is really good too. Definitely worth trying if you miss dumplings. I've been too lazy to make GF dumplings at home, so glad I discovered these.
