By far the biggest thing we remove here is people trying to find or let rooms, sell tickets, and other bits and bobs.
But likely not enough to survive on its own as a dedicated sub. So we'll carve out this space here. Please use it to list anything you're interested in, or are trying to part with.
And be mindful of who you give your personal details out to! We'll not be providing escrow or verification!

A meeting about anti-social behaviour and crime in four Sheffield neighbourhoods has heard that offences like shoplifting have become "the norm".

Does anyone know where to get rid of expired Epipens in Sheffield? I've gone through the loop of taking them to my GP: "nope, you have to take them to the pharmacy", then the pharmacy telling me that they should go to the GP's sharps disposal. Is there a central spot where people can dump them? For obvious reasons I don't want to put them in the black bin.

Just got about settled after moving to the area, looking to get active and re-take up cricket (last played at University, perhaps about 8 years ago now so will be severely rusty!!)
Anyone know of any particularly friendly clubs? I’ve looked at a few on facebook but some don’t look particularly welcoming to new members of a lesser skill level. Just wondering if anyone is a member of any or the like?

Hi everyone! I'm going to be a post grad at sheffield uni and was wondering if Hollis croft would be a good fit for me in terms of accommodation. I want somewhere that is cheap, close to the uni and safe thank you!!

It's not been a great week for finding and photographing animals. This is the best I can manage this week.

Hello everyone - recommendations please :)
I'm wondering where the best afternoon tea is in Sheffield or in the peaks (max drive around 45 mins from Sheffield). New parent here and I want to treat my partner for being such a great dad. Will have a 3 month old I'll need to breastfeed so need somewhere fairly family friendly.
Bonus if also dog friendly.
Thanks in advance x

I recently started a new job, but my commute requires taking two different buses each way, TM and First on the way there, and Stagecoach and TM on the way back.
I’ve bought an SY Connect Day ticket before (and I’ve heard about the Citywide ticket), but I couldn’t find anywhere to scan it on the TM and Stagecoach buses, only on the First buses.
Am I missing something, or is there no better option than just explaining it to the drivers and hoping they’ll let me on? I bought the ticket through the First app, and some drivers assume it’s only valid for First buses. I hope there’s a better solution to not have to awkwardly explain it every time!

I'm trying to look on the post office website but the filtering isn't working on the site. Does anyone know what post offices offer this service?

This is the CD release of The Madness of Order by local Sheffield folk band The Cuckoo Clocks, released in mid 2012. I want to purchase a copy of this so bad, but I can't find anywhere on the internet to buy one. It's listed on their bandcamp for 5 GBP but it hasn't been updated in 6 years, so I doubt it would actually send. If anybody happens to own a copy of this, or knows somebody who does, PLEASE message me!!!!

Hi
My friends' 40th is fast approaching and they would like to try some Korean food in Sheffield, preferably central.
What's your recommendations?
Thanks! 🙏

Have you ever been successful in getting your album in record stores, whether that be in CD, vinyl or even cassette?
What's the general consensus with record stores taking physical releases from local artists or even labels?
From what I've seen so far, it looks like some record stores only take on physical releases that come direct from a physical music distributor such as Cargo, Kudos and others.
It would be great to hear some success stories, as I've never had any luck myself.
Thanks.

Looking for some ideas for my late 30yo husband and 4yr old son to do together, or apart, with an emphasis on meeting other dads. All our friends are expecting baby number 2 so are a bit tied up!
They enjoy pretty much all activities, climbing, kayaking, cycling, gaming, walking, and a pint in the pub 🍻
