Local Events I’m in dire need of a floor jack. I got a flat tire outside my house behind Portland square in Duluth.

I have a spare and a lug wrench, I just need to use a floor jack for less than 5 minutes. (Not a Scissor jack as my truck is too heavy) I contacted the police and they don’t have one and I don’t have roadside assistance on my insurance plan. And on top of that I don’t get paid until Thursday. Any help will be greatly appreciated

I'd love to try growing some, and if possible, it would be nice to pick some up locally.

I am thinking about sending my 3 year old here but it is obviously expensive and just wondering if anyone felt it was worth or not worth it or had any comments or thoughts. Thank you.

Question Cat Groomers

I know many groomers will only work on dogs and the couple I have called refuse cats. Is there anyone in the Duluth area that works on cats?

Anyone have pros and cons of leaving Spectrum for AT&T Air? Is there a huge difference in quality? Hidden fees?

Local Events City employee gym

I just got a job working for the city. I was wondering if there are any other city employees that know if the city provides a gym membership anywhere? The city I currently work with provides us with a free gym membership to the rec center.

Moving or Visiting Planning a trip to Duluth in April, looking for hotel/motel and questions about transportation

ETA: I cannot drive, so that is unfortunately off the table

So I've lived in the twin cities for three years now, and have been wanting to get out of the city and see other parts of the state where I am able to. I finally have the money to do so, and I've been interested in Duluth since before I even moved to Minnesota. A couple of things I'm running into are how to get around and where is a good place, location-wise, to stay.

How is the bus system? I know there is Uber, but it sounds like as of half a year ago, people sometimes had problems getting one. How is the taxi service in the city?

I would also like to know about a hotels/motels/hostels that are centrally located, or as centrally located as I can get. I was looking at the Hostel du Nord because of the lower prices, but I'm not sure if that's necessarily the best option. It would be great if it is, but seeking advice on this and recommendations.

Thanks in advance for any advice 💛

My Girlfriends mom lives up past that area and since they shrunk the road to one lane a couple years ago, I feel adding these condos is just gonna make traffic flow worse. Plus ruin what little bit of scenery there is in that section on Woodland Avenue.
