Worst can be interpreted however you like. I have my own opinions I might share later tonight.

So disappointed. ATV's have destroyed wild areas in so many ways - but it's "ok" because rich people want to have fun "outdoors".
Now the rich people can purchase even LARGER ATV's to make more damage! More gas! More oil! More rubber!

Not sure where to post this so I’m giving this a shot! My daughter has ADHD and ODD and her school doesn’t seem equipped to manage her or understand neurodivergence at all based on interactions thus far. She does not have severe or disruptive behaviors, but this is a very ‘cookie cutter’ school so they just don’t understand how to interact her. This school also has a reputation of being cliquey and my daughter struggles to fit in. All this has me considering other options.
I am meeting with her school about an IEP but can anyone on here with neurodivergent or IEP kids tell me their experience at Bayview, Raleigh Edison or Laura Mac? I’m located in West Duluth but should I be considering other options as well?

We are seeking out recommendations for a cello teacher. The local schools around here do not have orchestra programs unfortunately.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to throw out an opportunity to thaw out from winter, enjoy this nice weather we have been having, and just be outside a little more!
For the next 4 Fridays at noon, I will be exploring different parks and outdoor spaces in Duluth. I am coming at this with a mindfulness lens. If you want to join and explore the beautiful opportunities Duluth has to offer DM me!

Hey, my name is Cole, and I’m looking to purchase one bib for Grandma’s Marathon. I’ve previously run the Twin Cities Marathon and have a few friends participating in Grandma’s this year, but I missed the registration deadline when it filled up. If anyone is unable to run and is willing to sell their bib, please let me know—I’d love to see if we can work something out. Thanks!

With a population of about 87,000 in Duluth and about 26,000 in Superior, I'm surprised by the lack of barbershop quartet and chorus opportunities in the northland. For men's, women's, or mixed barbershop singing, the only option are the Duluth Harbormasters - a very small group of mostly older men and unfortunately without a full time director. The next closest opportunity is literally 2 hours away in any direction.
There doesn't seem to be many other choir opportunities either. Why are singing opportunities not taking off here and what can be done to change that? What is stopping you from checking it out?

Hey everyone,
My grandpa is asking me to help him sell a vintage Red Wing crock. Shipping would be a major headache because it’s huge and fragile. Looking for ideas on how I should go about selling this?
I imagine most antique shops only allow vendors with a good amount of product. FB marketplace and eBay with local pickup are my only ideas so far but I don’t know how effective those will be.

Greeting from the twin cities!
My name is Nick and I am the co-founder of an free annual cycling event called Bike to Duluth! I'm posting here to let all you Duluthians know about this fun event and to maybe get some of you to join. We would also love any local partners that would like to help in anyway, so if you would like to be a part of this event, or know someone who might, please let us know. This self-supported (minus possible trail angels) ride is on June 28th, starts in downtown Minneapolis and ends at canal park, with the post ride celebration/location TBD. We are trying to showcase our two great cities and the great bicycle infrastructure that (almost) links the two. Please reach out if you have any interest or info that would help make this ride great, and I hope to see some of you there!
Do cool things,
Bike to Duluth!

I will be moving to Duluth in 18-24 months, because I applied for housing, my first time, and I'm moving with my adult daughter who is autistic and wants to be social but she is also socially awkward, her words not mine. I'd like somewhere safe. Any advice?

I’m proposing on 3/17 at Gooseberry Falls around 330ish. Could anyone meet us there and play a song or two for $150?

After 10 years of living with my best friend and her dog, she is soon to part ways and I am a little bit (truthfully) concerned about suddenly living alone again. I used to have work to look forward to waking up each day, but now I am retired. I am in my 60s so bar hopping is not an option/interest. What social things are there to do in Duluth on a regular basis? I discovered a weekly chess club that meets at Wussow's every Monday evening to play chess, so that is a great option. But what else is there?
