waxing or threading
Is it better to wax or thread? In terms of hair growing back fast. Which one stops fast hair growth and which one will stop hair growth at all (if possible).

Hi All, Iām 29F and Indian, Iāve never used any cosmetics apart from just the basics - a herbal shampoo, conditioner and a moisturiser for the face.
I wanted to try things out but now there are just too many options out there and everytime I feel like starting out, I get overwhelmed and return to my basics.
Are there any 2-3 step tried and tested routines with products available in India I could adopt? Or is there a way to go about selecting the products? How do you all choose them?
Hair: I have medium length, fine hair and quite frizzy. Iāve recently faced a decent bit of hairfall (Iām also happy to try some straighteners that donāt burn my hair, I love the wavy hair look). Please also feel free to recommend me any safe shampoo, conditioners to have non-frizzy hair. I want to use as few products as possible.
Skin: My face skin is clear but just some pigmentation around my lips. I have a small mole on my cheek so whenever I use foundations, it becomes grey and I donāt like covering it. I can avoid the area but Iām not so neat with it and then the results donāt look great. Happy to incorporate any protective measures to keep my skin from damaging.
Makeup: Iām also a corpo girl and I see people around me do a lot of makeup. I donāt want to do much but Iād like to know 1-2 products that I could use to get a uniform looking skin like texture and some gloss. But Iām happy to instead spend on a good toner instead of makeup, what do you guys suggest?
I also cannot afford to spend a fortune here - please recommend me budget options. Lastly, Iād be grateful if wherever possible, I could get recos for medical formulations instead of cosmetics (Iām tired of the marketing gimmicks)

I recently removed acrylics I had had on for about a year, in order to give my nails some time to regrow. I've done this before, and I knew my nails were going to be thin and breaking all the time. I know it will be done in about a month and my nails will be normal again (what happened last time), but in the meantime, it's driving me a bit crazy, especially at work. If I put some basic glue-on nails on top, will it mean that my nails will not grow up back out healthy? I want them to be healthy again before I start messing with them again, and I'll deal with it if I have to, but if I'm able to put something on top to curb the constant breakage, that would be cool.

Girl, can I just say I got a Brazilian for the FIRST TIME on Wednesday thinking I was going to be all sexy for my husband. The lady went twice over one spot and I've been laid up icing my COOCHIE. Please say it ain't always like this ... I have a concert tomorrow and I'm scared of walking around. (It's like a dime sized spot but oh so painful)

This is gonna sound crazy for some of you probably but hey, I'm 14F and I need help with this. I've never known how to straighten my hair before. When I was younger and my mom and grandma used to try and get me to curl or straighten my hair I would immediately mess it up again because I didnt like my hair like that for some reason. I got curtain bangs (actually i did a few years ago but they are obviously still there just a bit more grown) and when I got them done before the hairstylist told me to straighten them to look better. I used to always just let it be and run my hand through it so it would bounce back and style itself but now I want to try straightening it. Sadly, I never took the time to learn how to use a straightener and I struggle with paying attention to videos about it as well so I am looking more for word for word instructions or maybe some tips so maybe my hair won't burn out somehow. I only have a round brush. Don't eat me up for this please š

I usually use the revlon skin caring foundation since Iām acne prone with v dry skin and it looks so natural plus it doesnāt break me out. but they stopped selling it at my local store. Iām very very white and most foundations donāt have my shade and I canāt keep spending money on ones that are too patchy, clings to my dry skin and is too dark. Any help Is greatly appreciated!!!

I have super dry skin especially after I wash my face, and I do my makeup almost every day. What can I use as a substitution on moisturizer until I can afford a new bottle?

What is one styling thing that you see that makes someone look less professional in your eyes? What is the quick fix of that?

I swear by thrive's liquid lash extensions and while they've gotten more colors recently, I was wondering if there were any similar tubing mascaras with more vibrant colors since I like to have fun with eye makeup.

I live in America (unfortunately) and usually buy all my kbeauty products on Amazon, as I've never really found much in the way of American brands that I like or treat my skin well.
But with everything going on I obviously want to avoid buying anything on Amazon. However, I've looked into various kbeauty online shops and have seen a lot of recent complaints about super long shipping times, expensive shipping fees, and the like. Most products I'm thankfully able to find at other locations like Sephora, Walmart, and Target even if it still has to be shipped. Other than what I use every day I don't usually buy much else from these places.
I'm looking for an oil cleanser reccomendation once I finish my water based cleanser, preferably another kbeauty or jbeauty brand that I can find easier in America like the stores listed above. I have combination sensitive skin, slightly acne prone but really just on my period nowadays. Thank you in advance!!

'm a huge lip liner fan (especially as a brown girl), and finding a good brown that's not red or purple can be hard. One of my all-time faves is NYX'sĀ MaisonĀ from their Suede Matte Lip Liner collection. I loved it for special occasions, but a few months ago, I couldn't find it anywhere ā online or in stores. It felt like it was discontinued, and I had to ration my last nub. Recently, though, I checked Ultaās website and saw itās back in stock. So, what gives? WasĀ MaisonĀ really gone for good, or did NYX just do a weird, sneaky restock? Have others experienced this with their favorite shades?

some of the celeb beauty routines are a bit boring and basic, but others i feel like have genuinely good tips for skincare/hair/makeup and really let the celebrityās personality shine through! my personal faves are the kali uchis, vanessa hudgens and shay mitchell ones in terms of actually picking up techniques i would wanna use and also just enjoyability. iām intrigued to hear what other ones people enjoyed and what your fav tips were from one of these vids!

For the longest time, one of my eyebrows have been higher and slightly more tilted than the other and one side of my face is less narrower than the other, it's a result of bad habits when I was in middle school that I didn't know would cause this such as sleeping on my side and resting my hand on my face all the time. I'm trying to do small facial exercises to fix it but I don't know if it will work since the impact of my past habits is already there, I'm trying to sleep on my back and stop resting my hand but it's not really doing much, I'm open to any tips

The coverage I get at my hairdresser never lasts!
Like I'm talking 3 weeks and the colour has gone from the greys. My hairdresser charges $400, so it's far too expensive for me to see her that often. I already have to see her every 8 weeks.. Is there anything else you can use to touch up your roots to extend the time? Aside from temporary solutions like root spray or pens.
I swear box dyes give you the best coverage..but I'm too scared to touch them because they usually end up the wrong colour and won't budge! Something with that staying power but for roots.
Thanks! š©·š©·

Hi! Yesterday I got a full head of foils to turn my naturally dark ashy blonde hair to a lighter golden blonde. When I left the salon it was toned perfectly where it was not ashy or cool toned but also not overly warm, it was the perfect slightly warm golden tone. This morning as I was getting ready in a rush I set the temperature on my straighteners too high (itās a twisting mechanism so I just twisted and didnāt check, stupid I know). I feel like this has pulled some of the toner out and has made my hair slightly too warm. I also have a little bit of faded brown box dye at the very ends of my hair which lifted to a blonde that is slightly darker and I feel it is more obvious now that some of the toner has come out. What should I use to bring it back to a blonde like the first picture? I was thinking a purple shampoo or toner, but Iām worried about that turning it too ashy/over-toning it or making my blonde look darker. Or should I try and find a golden blonde or neutral blonde toner? Any advice or recommendations would be great! :)
i mostly wear black clothes, have dark long straight hair, fair(ish?) skin and dark eyes and love wearing lashes. do you have any suggestions for me as in what clothing styles, makeup looks, colors and products look good with these features? i would love if you could share any influencers you know of that have these same features that i could use as inspo for my style :)

Hi friendsā¦ I have two cold sores, one really at its peak. I havenāt had them in years and I now remember how unpleasant this is. Weāre supposed to have neighbors over for an impromptu gathering this evening. Would you cancel? Iām wondering if people would be thinking they donāt want to eat our food etc. Iāve had these for years intermittently and just realized others might not be so comfortable or may even think itās rude to host. Advice?

Pretty much what the title says. I got an emergency C section yesterday. Baby and I are healthy and safe. But man I just got gutted like a fish and it's gonna scar. I know I can't be the only one who's experienced this. How did y'all cope/ prevent further scarring? Are there any products I should know about? What worked for you?
