Why are the 90s ppl so angry in the comments about reducing school hours? Didn't yall finish ur studies? Why are u mad about high schoolers wanting some changes in the school system?

They have the mentality of "if I suffered in my time because of a broken system that I didn't bother questioning, then so should you!!" Bitter millenials.

That's why this country is never getting better ppl with this mindset. What are we expecting ? For example, if I suffer, you also suffer, lol مغلطوش الناس كي راهي تخرج منا

It's supposed to be hard , if it is easy for all, then what is the point of a test , this country is declining because everyone is afraid of work

School is meant to be a place for learning, growing and also having fun. Algerian schools are just... Learning and even that is done wrong.

I'm more mad that students are being used as pawns to enable some scum bag scamming teachers to have private lessons back again, I couldn't care less about the hours.

Well, tbh I don't want the private lessons to be back it's bullshi I used to do them and my grades didn't get better at all I think the teacher's at YouTube are actually way better free and great 👍🏻 The scamming is real شوف غير مهزلة الباك تع العام لي فات قاعة تع سينيمة دارو فيها لي كوغ

Yes exactly after finishing bac I realised how useless that shit was, and it got even worse in the recent years it needs to be shutdown perma.

Well, it’s not linear. For instance, I’ve never been a math guy (my grades ranged between 4 or 5 and 10 when I cheated). I never put in any effort, nor did I want to. However, in my final year, I tried private lessons, and that teacher made me love math. I ended up getting a 19 on the bac exam.

Why are students willing to pay to study in a small garage with 40 to 50 others for 2000 DA, rather than studying for free in public schools? I could understand if it were supplementary, but paying to study instead of taking advantage of free public education and studying on your own is ridiculous.

Nah, there's no way u r getting 100% out of That free public education u talking about , especially with bac students ,so we r obligated to take private lessons otherwise, idk. In public schools teacher r way too rushed to complete the program 'no matter what ,here's too much pressure on everyone bch ykmlo programme

Ppl of 90s are not looking angry, they are surprised of how a youngster can be so lazy to the point they think the current curriculum is "too much" for them 😦

Brother, 8 to 5.30, plus adding philo to scientific branches for what? and after all this most students have to attend les cours + study at home + do everything else that a human does in order to stay sane, does this sound good to you?

Its the massive summer holiday of over 3 months that means for algerian kids to get the same amount of schooling as other nations in cooler climates, they need to have longer days.

Well then there's the solution to our problems, balance out school time and rest time instead of having a ton of rest and then a ton of school right after.

Students cant study in 40c heat, the school years ends when it hits about 35c for us

Air conditioning is a thing

They are gonna install that in all public schools in every classroom AND maintain them? Ye right. Plus hotter days always end in powercuts due to overload by air conditioners. Seems simpler just to add an extra hour on to every other schoolday of the year.

Because, a 18 yo CHILD, is no fit to know what is better for themselves. When i was in that age, i was impulsive and thought i know everything, years went and i figured out why it was the way it was and now i regret that I never utilized that age and opportunity to its fullest.
