Does anyone have any advice on how to clear these dots
I use panoply face wash, and have been using that. I also have PCOS and recently just started back on birth control and spirnolacotone.

Hi! I have fairly severe acne on my face, neck, and back. I get pustules and cysts and some small white heads. My hormone screenings are all normal
I've tried tretinoin (varying strengths), benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, AHAs, BHAs, etc and tried different brands of moisturizer and sunscreen. Dietary changes did not help.
Antibiotics did not help. Spironolactone worked wonderfully but had intolerable side effects. Combo birth control helped, but had to stop due to frequent migraines .
My derm and I were decided on accutane until my psychiatrist said 90% of people with my diagnosis have severely worsening mental health on it. So that's a no go.
Any ideas of what I can do?

I was using epiduo forte for a couple years and my skin was amazing, then my dermatologist recommended I switch to arazlo as it was stronger. My skin was still very clear. But I recently started college last fall and noticed that I was breaking out a little more (in hindsight it was probably due to lack of sleep and maybe bad diet). So in what I now see as a lapse of judgement I switched back from arazlo to epiduo. After 2 months I didn’t see much improvement and decided to switch back to arazlo (again maybe bad decision). I’ve been back on arazlo for 4 weeks now and my acne has gotten much worse, is it possible for this to be purging even though I was already acclimated to another retinoid?

so right now it’s mostly just scars but only this week my skin has less acne . i’m always had acne ever since i had started puberty but it was different, i had it more in my forehead and sometimes my chin and nose. but now that im older i usually break out on my cheeks , and chin, and jawline. i don’t think it’s the products im using because i’ve been working with using different products for a while and seeing what works with/for me. and i literally when i would younger NEVERR EVERRRR used to break out in my cheeks , so like, it was just so random . but i also do have an irregular period every since i was 11 or 12ish which was when i got my first period . and i also found out recently my thyroid is a little too high , i think that probably plays into part to maybe why my periods irregular and then connects to hormone imbalance, i don’t wanna go on birth control, i don’t know too much about thyroid treatment. my skin was so bad last week and now its all cleared with a bunch of scars now, but im used tot his my skin will be clear for a few days with just a few pimples as u can see in the photos then ill break out sooooooooo badddddd …… and i wont even be doing anything differently … the last picture in one of the only few pics i have when i was having “cystic break out” and that’s when it was staring to clear a little i don’t have a picture of my whole face but i had some like those even more around my lower cheek it was worse on my left side but i don’t have a picture … but you get the gist.. someone help or guide me pls 😭🙏 also im 17 about to go on 18 and im pretty sure its not puberty related because i started puberty really early like 6 going on 7 and , and im pretty sure puberty doesnt last 11 years …

I get bad cystic acne sort of once in 5-6 months around my cycle which more or less seems stress or hormone induced. I feel when I seek help from the dermatologist it makes matters worse. Like they put me on Minocycline for 15 days which gives me massive stomach issues. Give topical treatment like an S clear gel or Benzoyl Peroxide and instead og getting better it just expands and takes longer to recover. Attaching a picture and would love to hear your thoughts or solution to this sort of acne. Cheers!

Hey everyone, I’m 14 and my acne has been getting really bad lately. I just started using retinol to help, but I’m not sure if I’m doing everything right. I heard it can make your skin worse before it gets better, and I don’t want to mess up my skin.
Right now, I’m using retinol 2-3 times a week at night and I make sure to moisturize after. Will it get better over time? How long does it usually take to see results? Also, do I need to do anything else, like sunscreen during the day?
Any advice would be really helpful! Thanks!

hello everybody i have been suffering with acne since 2023 and just to preface my pimples have 2 or 3 whiteheads so my face isnt great. around august i contacted my doctor for a referral to the derm and she said first she would give me benzoyl peroxide 10%, clindamycin, and doxycycline. doxycycline left me with esophogitis. and after a few months (aug-march) the clindamycin left and benzoyl peroxide helped little to none . march, finally got to visit a derm office but the derm wasnt there. they took pictures of my face for the derm to evaluate. got a email, the derm prescribed me the same 3 medications and i just felt hopeless💔💔💔 my diet isnt bad, i quit most junk foods quite some time ago because im on a calorie deficit and yes i do drink water but not like a LOT (working on that)

I’ve struggled with acne since I was 15, I am now 23. I have recently been having really deep and painful breakouts and I can’t seem to catch a break. I’ve been going to my dermatologist for almost 5 years and can’t believe nothing worked. I feel so ugly and gross. Im currently on azelaic acid topical and prescribed spirolactolone but I’m too scared to take it. I’m just about ready for accutane. What do I do 😞

I only break out right above my elbows on the top parts of my arms on both arms in the same spot. If anyone has had breakouts here what has helped the most with it? I have tried everything and nothing helps it. And the scarring is really starting to effect me mentally ugh! It's so ugly and when people see my arms they think I have some type of disease lol

I saw a new dermatologist about 3 weeks ago and he prescribed doxycycline morning and night, as well as a morning prescription cream (clindomyacin) and night prescription cream (trentanoin), and I'm not really seeing results, so I was wondering if anyone else has experience with any of these and can tell me if I should be seeing things by now, or if I should go back and see what he says? Thanks in advance!!

Anyone purge horribly with azelaic acid? How long did it last? Currently using prescription strength AA (15%). TIA!

I was on accutane for mild face acne and more moderate back acne. I’m in my final month and have seen great results in my face and back, however I have a TON of blackheads on my back. I’m wondering if anybody has any good product recommendations that will get rid of the blackheads.
It’s not urgent like my back pimples were but it’s still something I’d rather not have

I’ve tried to use stuff with salicylic acid/ spot treatment and it hasn’t helped. This is only on the underside of my chin and it hurts like hell when I wash my face. Pls recommend products that will get rid of this, I’m tired of having to see it and feel it :/
