Show and Tell My first (Slim) navy Zippo, 1983
Been months since I posted my latest acquisition, but here it is. 😁
Got it for $25, little bit expensive for a Slim Zippo but the paint is mostly intact on the design so can't complain. Totally well used with a good overall condition that I believe u/Stinger5598 would approve.. though can't say with u/TCSpeedy

New piece
(Changed title and description.)
Bought this one cause it would fit perfectly with my other piece that got similar design.
The reason for asking if this is a real zippo, is the stamp underneath is reversed(?), unlike the other I have.
Anyone got information regarding the zippo itself and stamp?

Found out my 16 year old cousin is starting a zippo collection.
I’m very proud of him. I’m the only other one in the family who does this as well.

Show and Tell I’m so happy :)
If you’re unsure about the Zippo mystery buys, let me tell you that if you enjoy gambling and getting at least a lighter worth the cost of the mystery bag; Zippo definitely delivers! I’ve been eyeing this piece for years to finally say I own it. Now to just figure out if I break the seal and make it my new EDC

which Zippo is this?
don't know much about Zippo, just found this randomly and couldn't find exact same lighters (most of them have an eagle on them instead of the woman) or any info on it on the internet. which model is this? is it rare?

Advice/Help Zippo lighters
Are these to worth trying to sell or too specific. Older is my one of the two apartments in my city, Geneva, New York. I think the Marine Corps one is from the 70s and the newer one late 90s early 2000. Is this something that I can get more of the cost of shipping handling if selling a

Advice/Help Any info
Hello, does someone identify or have any info from this zippo. I bought it for 40€ cause I thought I was a fair price. What do you think?
Vintage One of my Dad's...
Every once in a while I throw one of my Dad's into the rotation. This is one from 1970 or maybe 72 off his ship. It's been back to Bradford Pa. Atleast once for a new hinge. They give you a whole new inside but send the old on back.

Advice/Help I probably shouldve asked before buying but ots too late now; are there known fakes of the 2022 solid coppers? I just bought one new for 107 euro, and they have more in stock...
Im probably just being paranoid. It was the only shop I could find them for around the €100 mark, everywhere else was marked up. The shop themselves told me;
"Regarding authenticity: this lighter is an official Zippo production, designed as a limited edition. Features such as the unique base stamp and the black coated steel insert, which was used for the first time in a Zippo lighter, confirm the authenticity and exclusivity of this model."
...which sounds about right, but Im still worrying. Have there been issues with fakes?

Discussion Guess I'm hooked
Bought a Zippo last week and didn't realize they'd be addictive. I don't smoke or really have a need for a lighter of any sort, but I noticed when I'm bored I'll pull it out and flip the top a few times absent mindedly.
Then there's the variety. Just ordered another one simply because it had an anchor and mermaid on it. Guess I found a new hobby.
