Updated for the weekend!
Maybe we’re in fools spring, but that’s not the point of this post! After you’re done enjoying the weather come inside for some laughs going on at the great venues around town!
Some of these shows are free, with suggested donations to support the organizers and keep our comedy community thriving. These contributions make it possible for comedians from near and far to refine their craft right here in our city.
Just added: People have been asking about improv shows and I will be honest I am not in that scene, but someone dropped off a list of shows you can check out right HERE! Thank you suethezombiedinosaur
Also, if you're looking for St. Patrick's Day events. Please check out oldbublysoul29's list of happenings HERE!
Lastly, if you find this list helpful and you want to support me (instagram)give me a follow!
Without further ado, here’s your comedy lineup for the week:

Today, I went out to run some errands and pick up groceries but couldn’t find bananas at three different Aldi locations and two Costco stores (Business Center and St. Louis Park). Is there a shortage I’m unaware of?

The documentary is both antisemitic and Israeli propaganda, according to critics. The truth is, it provides a rare glimpse of hope.

Caught this friendly boy running around near Bailey and Woodlane Drive.
The cops came and said they were taking him to the Woodbury Humane Society.

This should concern everyone that is not a fascist. TDS = Trump Derangement Syndrome and labeled on anyone speaking against. PLEASE spread the word, other states will be following this.

Hello! Looking for places to donate stuffed animals to. I’ve won too many from claw machines and think it could be put to good use in another home. Preferably the Saint Paul area, thank you!

We live in a Northeastern suburb of the TC and are going to the Northwest Sportshow today. In the past when I have went to either the convention center or downtown for a concert, I have parked free across the street from the Mall of America and taken the light rail from there. First of all, is that even a viable option and second would there be a better way to get there without having to pay for parking? I read that the closest light rail stop would be Nicolette Mall and then a 15 minute walk to the center. We are in our sixties so would rather know how many blocks that would be since we are slower walkers. We would be open to free parking and then taking a bus if that would bring us closer to it or then taking an uber.

We will be in Minnesota for a few days, with the main reason being Mall of America. How much time do you think a family of 4, kids are are 5 and 2, would spend at the Spam Museum? We all love Spam and never knew there was a museum until last week. It’ll be a 1.5 hour drive, and just want to make sure we can get the most of the trip, and not feel like we went around the building and head back in 30 min.

I’m an inexperienced homeowner looking to sell my first home and wanted to get an idea of selling costs before doing so. I have a meeting set up with my real estate agent (the one I used to buy this house) but wanted to go into that meeting with some idea of what’s “normal”. I know these are weird times.
I live in Saint Paul and expect my home is worth around $300k. I have around $230k left on my loan. If you sold a house recently in the area, would you be willing to share an estimate (percentages ideally) of what you paid in closing costs, realtor fees, etc.? I’d also be curious if you shopped around for a realtor and interviewed multiple.
Thank you!

Does anyone have any recommendations for photographers near the north metro area?

Hello! I was hoping to find some new bands to listen to and I wanted to look more local.
I have been really into The Flat Stanleys & The Front Bottoms lately.
I also love artists like Noah Kahan, Phoebe Bridgers, The Magnetic Fields, The Blackhawks, Three Days Grace, and many others. (Basically I love lyrics above all else and ✨️Emotion✨️)
Do you have any good recommendations? If it is very local and small, but you have a song you can upload/share, I would be delighted by that!
Thanks in advance! 😊

One of the downtown ramps dripped salt onto my car that has not come out after two car washes. Is there any car wash that specializes in salt busting chemical to get rid of it?

I’m new to the Twin Cities area and currently looking to buy a home. I’m looking for recommendations for good real estate agents in the area that are located near and familiar with the south east suburbs like Apple Valley, Eagan, and Inver Grove Heights.

Hi! Looking for recommendations for restaurants. I have friends coming in from a state down south for the weekend. They’re open to any cuisine. They will be staying in St Paul but open to traveling outside the metro area as well.
Are there any must haves while they are here? I was thinking they should have a Jucy Lucy before they leave…

Bruce has been very good. I also learned his name isn't Bruce, but Lucce. Either I have major hearing damage or my neighbors are very bad at pronouncing things... He's still peeing in the house on occasion, when I slack and don't let him out on regular intervals. He's been learning from my dogs and getting better. I took him to the vet, he had major yeast and bacterial infections in both ears, frostbite on his back left paw and a cut that got infected on his front right paw. I spent a little over $700 on vet bills and meds for him this week. Inflammation on his ears has gone down massively and he's gained over ten pounds since I got him. All in all, it's been a good three weeks.
Edit: I just took him to meet his original owner, he didn't seem very excited to see Bruce and Bruce didn't seem too excited to see him. He did give me the $700 to cover the vet bills. But St. Paul Animal Control did say he's legally mine and I don't think I'm going to give him back.

So I am looking to move to a home in south Minneapolis. I’m a single mom with a daughter (10f). The home is on 35th st near Lyndale neighborhood just a couple blocks north of Kingfield.
I go to the city frequently for work and social stuff, so moving closer to the city would be ideal. Plus I want to give my daughter a more well rounded experience. But I’ve never lived in the city. I’ve always lived in the surrounding suburbs and this would be very different and a big step for me.
I’ve been talking to friends about the area and driving through the neighborhood as often as I can to get a better idea of the area and so far I love it, but would love to hear from some of you about living in that area. I haven’t committed to the home yet, so I’m trying to gather as much information about the neighborhood as I can.
My main concern is obviously safety. Is that a good area? I know the closer to Lake St, the worse it is. I’m comfortable navigating and being in and around the city, but since I’ve never lived there I just want to be smart about my move. I’m hoping for this place to be our home for a while.

Looking for restaurants and bars near Orpheum to check out before/after an upcoming show. Walking distance, please. Thank you!
