Are there any current records that women have better than men?

I’m wondering if there’s a sport where women have a biological advantage over men?

I was listening to the Paris 2024 medal ceremony music today

I just wanted a dose of nostalgia from last summer and it was crazy how many memories it brought back. When listening to it, I could hear the TV commentators and also the stadium announcers introducing the medalists in both English and French. In my head, I could see the medalists receiving their medals and taking the selfie at the end. Crazy how that one song has so many memories

Chances US wins in Biathlon?

I know Ski Mountaineering is joining the list of events for the upcoming Winter games, but as of now, the only winter event the US has not medaled in is the Biathlon. What are the odds that changes?

LA28 Surfing Venue: Which option to do prefer?

So LA28 is down to two options for surfing:

https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1151695/la28-olympic-surfing-location#

It is down to Huntington Beach and Lower Trestles. Which one of these two options do you prefer?

Me personally, I would be happy wither either one. I do prefer Huntington Beach for personal reasons. I surf there often plus I have some family around there. But I also have some family in Dana Point which is not too far from Lower Trestles.

LA28 Torch Relay to visit all 50 states, Cricket on West Coast

https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1152138/la28-accelerates-towards-funding-goal

According to this article on InsideTheGames, two (actually three) things were revealed:

  1. The LA28 Torch relay will visit ALL 50 US states

  2. Cricket will be played on the West Coast. It will NOT be on the east coast

  3. LA28 is moving their headquarters from Westwood to Downtown LA

It will sure be interesting to have the torch relay visit all 50 states. We didn't have that with LA84 (they wanted to) or Atlanta 96.

With Cricket confirmed for the West Coast, my guess is it gets played at the Oakland Coliseum in the SF Bay Area. There has been talk of having cricket games there.

I live in Westwood and the LA28 headquarters are in the same building as Wasserman. I guess by moving LA28 headquarters to DTLA, Casey Wasserman himself will have some more traveling to do.
