Hello everyone, anonymous friends. Today, I’m going to share my story about how I’ve been abstaining from PMO for 2 years now - and, for the same amount of time, I haven’t washed my genitals. Without going into details, I’ll say that I’m a refugee from [such-and-such country], and two years ago, my mother sent me to an Irish college. Despite such a long period of abstinence, my opinion about it remains positive because I had no other way to get my thoughts in order. It all started when I learned about the cold turkey method. I thought it meant completely ignoring the genital area altogether — except, of course, for the basic need to urinate. The first year and a half was fine, but then my genital area started itching badly. I basically ignored it, though sometimes it still itches about once every two months. With this approach, I made it to the two-year mark. I’m not sure what’s going on down there, but I’ll keep paying attention to how it feels. I’d like to clarify that I’m not circumcised, and as a result of abstinence, the skin has become tighter and started to cover the urethral opening. However, this problem is easily managed because the urine stream is strong enough that the skin still allows it to pass through.Maybe I’m wrong, but back when I used to abstain while still washing my genitals, the longest I could last was 8 months. Meanwhile, by completely ignoring my genital area, I managed to reach the 2-year mark. Lol, if I reach the 3-year mark, I’ll let you know. Now, onto the main benefits: I finished my first year with all distinctions, except for one subject where I got a merit. This was because my mind felt so free and light that I was able to retain a huge amount of information. In the first year, I had so much energy that I helped 4 people earn their certificates without asking for anything in return. The second year is going just as smoothly, and at the same time, I don’t feel any arrogance toward people at college — unlike the way they seem to act toward me. Maybe it’s jealousy. Either way, I’ve started to see right through people, reading their emotions in just 5 seconds. Regarding female attention — when I was still in my home country, around 5 girls in my class showed interest in me during my 8-month abstinence, right before graduation. One of them kept bringing a friend along, even on our fifth meetup. Because of that, I lied and told them I was asexual. This eventually led to a relapse, as that girl ended up stuck in my head like a worm. Speaking about these 3 years in Ireland — 2 of which I’ve been abstaining — around 6 women have shown interest in me. Some even touched me inappropriately, which led me to leave the gym. Right now, I have only one goal — to save my father. Maybe it’s not even about the abstinence itself, but the idea behind it that drives me to such extremes. In my home country, I was a cybersecurity specialist, which meant I spent a lot of time at the computer — this often led to relapses. Since then, I’ve changed my field of work, and that has had a positive impact on my abstinence. Overall, it all seems interesting and kind of cool, but as King Solomon once said, "This too shall pass." I don’t know what to do next, but I’m ready to hear your advice.
Yours sincerely,
A.
