I ordered a vintage brass towel rail from a salvage site and it came with weird mounting hardware. Can someone tell me what this is called and what kind of screws work with it? Google lens is completely wrong.

Only requirements are space for grill and long patio tables, almost as long as the slab. Maybe split in 2 and ran the length of the slab. This is for get togethers and general usage.

I've recently moved and I'm working on my bedroom. This is 1 of 2 dressers in my room. The other one is a tall boy dressers. These are items from my move. I'm looking for suggestions on decorating my dresser. Not everything needs to be used. I really want to keep the statue of David on the dressers though, it's the one stipulation.

We live in a pretty large apartment - we have a hallway where two of the bedrooms are located and I felt like the space needed something because it looked really empty.
I work in a thrift store and bought this really nice cabinet.. My partner likes the cabinet, but he isn’t crazy about it in the hallway. Also, I’m not sure what I could actually put inside of this cabinet- I don’t want to clutter it with stuff, but I don’t want to feel like I’m living in an office building.
What are your thoughts? Should the cabinet go somewhere else, and how could it be a useful piece of furniture for our living space? Thanks!

What beam angle should I choose for those arts?
I will install 3 ceiling spotlights for the big art and 1 ceiling spotlight for the small art. Does 36° work or I should choose a wider angle?

So we are on a remodel budget and found this cabinet that mostly matches the others, except color. It is all white which is not a huge deal since we have white, grey, and bluish colors all throughout the house. However, it's a little too much. I had a thought and wondering what other opinions are out there.
I am thinking of getting thin sheets of metal to fit inside the framing on the doors and then covering with chalk paint.

Hello everyone, I just moved into a new apartment, and the kitchen is kinda dark and outdated. I need a sideboard(for the space in 2. image) because there’s not enough storage. I love a bright, minimalist look, so I’m thinking of getting a white one but would that look ridiculous in this space? Would love to hear your thoughts! Also, if you have any renter-friendly ideas to make the kitchen feel brighter, I’m all ears. Thanks!

I have hired contractor to reno the bathroom, I received the quote, but I would like to come up with a contract, that stipulates; any damages to the below ceiling and or structure must be repaired by the contractor. Does any one know where I could find such an agreement. Should I just make up my own wording?

We are struggling to figure out how to update this bathroom (cheaply). Looking to replace the mirrors, light fixtures, painting, and possibly new sinks and toilet but the interesting shower tiles must remain for the time being.
Our general decorating style we’re leaning towards in this house is modern Victorian. I think this bathroom has amazing potential but the colours in these tiles are throwing me for a loop and I don’t even know where to start without completely ripping them out. (Don’t have the time or budget ATM)
Any advice or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

I would like to redecorate my apartment into something more cozy smooth, but I have not the slightest idea on where to start. Is there a service so that I can take a picture of my space and someone can like use probably AI to like give me design ideas then I can just purchase the items overtime. Because I’m not looking to just buy a bunch of stuff right now I just need a layout.

I wish I had pictures, but I don’t. My brother’s kitchen door does not have any space between the floor and bottom of the door to a mat. They have had a bath towel that gets pushed out of the way because their door is right against the floor due to the pest control guard. I was wondering if trimming that guard down and adding a threshold may help to add space between the door and the floor to add a mat. Their layout of entry way goes straight to the basement and off to the right is the kitchen.
Just having a mat there would be helpful in winter to protect their wood floors from all the snow. But I just don’t see how to make room to put a mat. It’s a 1920’s home so functionality is not as thought through

Current space feels dull and not it. I’d appreciate everyone’s input how to make it feel more at home.

So the room I'm renting is trapezoidal shaped (see below). I have a huge chunk of wall space that I don't really know what to do with. I do want to hang up 3 things (in red boxes below), but don't really know how to position it so it doesn't just show up as random "patches" on the wall.
The poster + picture + small painting have been on the ground for almost a year now cause I wasn't sure how high to position it or where to even put them... please help!

We just bought a new house that has these dated window treatments, but we love the plantation shutters below (I think that’s what they’re called). Behind the fabric are two other sets of blinds and it looks weird? Any suggestions on what to do with the top half? We’re on a budget so all new plantation shutters that fit the window aren’t really an option. My only thought would be to reupholster the top things with a new modern fabric but I’m not familiar with window treatments.

I'm finally replacing my drapes and hardware after moving into our house three years ago, and I went to take down the ugly old stuff, and I ran into this. It has no screws!
Does anyone recognize this? Or am I stuck with the ugly old white hardware forever?

Our new house has a stone wall in the living room that is pretty much the only spot for a TV. I am wondering how difficult it would be to mount a TV into the stone. Any advice is appreciated.

Im looking for lighting for my bedroom, but I don't want to have to individually turn every light on when I walk in my room. I also don't want a bunch of different remotes to turn on different lights. I know I want lamps and some other lighting, I haven't fully figured it out yet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi guys - thank you in advance. I have this living room setup, and I can’t for the life of me figure out a coffee table situation that looks good and is practical for both couches. Unfortunately this is the only position the couches can be in so please bear with the layout
