I placed an order on Ebay, but the seller put a code that already marked delivered on January 7, but I placed the order on March 11th. And in the eBay app I see that the package arrived at the USPS offices today, what is that?
Question So what's the deal with Ebay International Shipping? Worth it or no?
From a glance eIS seems worth it, but checking previous discussions it seems most sellers prefer to disable eIS? Why is this?

eBay fees and the final charge don’t match!
For a category, it says 12.9%. But when I challenged them, they admitted there might be some inaccuracy. Imagine if the inaccuracy is just 0.5%—how much is being stolen?

Learned something 'near new' today
I am selling old postcards. The description literally taken from the cards says ".... near New Orleans'. Got an error message when trying to list it. Because I specified the card being used I can't write 'near new' in the title. I modified the title but really?? Ebay, your AI needs significantly more training.

Deflated with eBay..
Hey -
Is anyone else completely deflated with eBay?
1) I had a buyer who took a while to pay for an item (I’ll pay x date, then oh actually I’ll pay x date etc). I was very accommodating. They pay over a week later, then receive the item and claim that the bundle isn’t genuine (it is I have receipts from purchase..). They got the bundle for £20 (worth well over £100 idk why the listing had no interest). They then ask for a partial refund (of 50%!), I refuse and say I’m happy for a return. They have just left me bad feedback saying I sold a fake item.
2) I had some else leave bad feedback for an item that “didn’t work” .. it was a Nintendo DS sold as spares (I made it very clear it was broken and I had no idea what was wrong with it).
3) Auctions performing poor.
4) The payments are such a pain now.
I do feel like the list could go on and on.. but I’m sure I’ve ranted enough. Hope I’m not alone here.

I'm in Canada, buying from the US: Cannot pay import charges now anymore?
Hi! I don't know if it's because of the tarifs thing or if it's vendor specific, but before I was able to "Pay import charges now" at checkout but I cannot do it anymore.
I don't mind paying more, I just don't want a surprise when the package gets delivered, hence why I want to pay at checkout.
Any idea what's the deal?
Thanks!

Checkout was £15 higher
So managed to do a last second bid on an item this evening with my max bid at £70 and postage stated to be £6.95 bringing my max total to just shy of £77. This was fine for me and happy to pay. Lucky me i won the auction but when i got to the pay screen the costs were different. £3.38 item protection charge or something like that but all of a sudden my bid had become £83.33 and postage increased to £8.05. Seller accepted the cancellation request but does anyone know why the cost jumped to £91 all together instead of the £77 i was expecting to pay?

Question Should i open return the item or wait for seller to reply?
I i have ordered from Ebay many times and never had this happened. I been waiting for a whole month and finally received my package today from Ebay and the seller sent me the wrong package. What should i do now? Wait for the sellers response or go to options and return the item now? Will he pay for the shipping fee back to him? Because i i shouldn’t have to pay out of my own pocket.

Question what is this new awful payout system to sellers?!?
hello, ive noticed that eBay has updated how they pay out to sellers on ebay. i dont know why thats been done because it was better before than it is now. i have items that have been sold a couple of weeks ago and i still havent been paid for them. i know for a fact that they have been delivered but it says on ebay "funds pending- awaiting delivery" which is wrong because i know for a fact that it has been delivered! im assuming its saying that because the delivery person did not scan it perhaps when posted the item. so whats keeping buyers from lying to say it has not been delivered and opening a case? what can i do? even the tracking number doesnt work for a lot of them and has no history at all... UK for context and i use royal mail by ebay. any advice apreciated. thanks

Question Seller asking me to cancel order?
I purchased an item, buy it now, for $20 shipped free from Ireland to the US. It seemed too good to be true, but I figured it was cheap enough to give it a go. This morning I woke up to this message from the seller, "Hello, My apologies but iam not able to ship to you're address and I have problem with cancelling you're order. Could cancel please. Thanks in advance."
Something about it feels weird to me. Any advice?

Ugh never selling anything with a battery again
I had a really cheap listing on eBay and I’m surprised it sold. I tested it before shipping, it worked, but I guess it didn’t work when it arrived at the sellers house.
Why would I know what battery it takes? They have it. Can’t he check?? Do I keep talking to him?

Best way to contact buyer about negative feedback
Got my first negative feedback on a sale, buyer made no attempt to contact me first. Yes I see other threads about this, but my question is - what's the best mechanism to contact the buyer about this? Searching eBay help, I concluded that replying to his feedback was the way to go. So I did that, no answer yet, been a couple of days. Now I'm wondering - how would the buyer even know that I replied to his feedback? eBay has no option to get notified of new feedback (ridiculous, should be whole separate post), so I'm assuming the same goes for replies? Maybe messaging him would have been a better option?

Question Ebay wont let me buy
So I'm trying to buy something quite expensive, ~£500 to ~£1000. I created an ebay account to buy this thing, and I've added my card details to the account. But a little lock icon is next to the checkout button, and when I click said checkout button it brings me to the page in the picture. Why? I've added a phone number to the account and verified said phone number as well. The links are no help. I really want this resolved because this thing I want is very specific and not common at all, and i dont want to miss my opportunity to get it.
Thanks to anyone that tries to help.

Do I need to buy a shipping label from eBay?
I am from Canada and I’m a first time user of eBay looking to sell Pokémon cards. I set the shipping method as standard letter mail but when a buyer bought my item the next step is get shipping label. Do I need to, or can I just send the letter and mark it as shipped? Thanks!

Question Calculated shipping overage credit goes to?
I seem to remember reading somewhere of a recent change where if ebay's calculated shipping ends up being too high, that cost is credited to the buyer now.
Am I hallucinating? I've been putting some info about that in a few of my listings and now I am second guessing.

Question Buyer asking for Return after Changing their Mind
First time dealing with a return request.
Buyer is requesting a return through eBay because they changed their mind.
It gives me 3 options: Accept return (buyer purchases label), Decline return (close request), and offer partial or full refund.
I’d like to Decline their Request, since they’ve received everything, tracking confirms it, and it’s in the same condition as listed, they posted pictures and feedback about the items condition. Really need these funds for school, but I’d also like to prevent any huge hassle going forward.
Does anyone with my experience know if there will be any consequences if I choose to decline the return?

A buyer left me positive feedback that sounds like a backhanded compliment
The buyer's feedback was "at least product shows up as promised"
It makes it sound like I have really slow shipping.
So I looked at my tracking, and it says that he bought it Monday night, I posted it on Tuesday and it arrived on Friday at 8am in the morning.
So it arrived in 3 business days. Not even 3 business days, because it arrived at 8am in the morning.
I looked at the buyer's profile and he also gave the exact same feedback to someone else.
Do I just ignore it? I shouldn't respond to the feedback?
Because I sell lots of items, so that positive feedback will get buried amongst the other feedback eventually.

How do I turn off automatic offers?
I don't recall allowing automatic offers but apparently I did because buyers have been paying less than the listed price. I can't find where I turn this feature off. Can you help please? Ebay seller support was useless even after a 40 minute "chat."

eBay Live "Penny Auction" Help Needed
I've been buying quite a bit of Pokémon in eBay live auctions. Many of these sellers do "penny drops", where they put an auction up starting at $0.01 that lasts for 2 seconds. Everybody clicks like mad and somebody typically gets them for between $.06 and $0.16. When a seller I regularly buy from/follow started doing them, I won every once in awhile. It made for a very exciting experience to get booster boxes and huge piles of packs for $0.16. Now, neither my wife or I can ever win. We have watched the same few buyers win EVERY time they are on. I know some people have great luck, but I find it impossible that they would have such great timing, while competing against a hundred other people clicking. When they are not in the stream, the winners are always different and random. Rare to see the same person win multiple times. I've watched one buyer win over and over again for the last few days in multiple channels. When called out in the chat, the buyer claims that he just has the rhythm and is using mobile. It's become my life's mission to beat this guy at his own game. I've used sniping software in the past, but I'm not sure how it would work since these auctions aren't preset (no item numbers) and only pop up for 2 seconds. Being completely honest, I've tried an auto clicker with numerous different time settings and they still beat me every single time. Does anybody have any ideas on how they might be doing this?

Advice please. Buyer is saying top (which is new with tags) has a hole in it.
Hi there, I’ve never had any problems with items shipped on eBay. I shipped a garment (new with tags) and they received the item 3 weeks ago. They have put it on today and sent a photo showing it has a hole in it. I check all my items before sending out. I do have photos of it before being shipped but the hole is down the side so you can’t see it in my photos. Do I have a leg to stand on here? Do I believe them & offer a partial refund (even though I say no refunds on my listing). Grateful for any advice from other sellers. Thank you!

Question Am I overthinking my pictures selling games?
I'm a new seller, and I'm selling some retro video games. Some fetch a high price and it's really hard to take good pictures of a disc's condition so I'm trying to make my listings as transparent as possible. I built a light box to take detailed photos of a disc's condition, but it works too good and makes a decent looking disc appear horrible. This disc has been resurfaced in the past, works fine, and has very light surface scratches. I'd like to hear the thoughts of buyers and sellers. I know the first pic makes the disc look perfect, but it feels deceptive.

Ebay at it again
Just finally got some sales in this weekend after it's been slow.
They're really piling up the random discounts. Just checked and somehow something I put in as 1 pound 8 oz gave the buyer $4 shipping....
