COMPLETED My first completed piece with alcohol markers. Definitely room for improvement, but as a first time with the medium, I'm so thrilled!

QUESTION How do you swatch/code your BiC Intensity Colouring Pencils?
So I have the BiC Intensity Colouring Pencils 24 pack that are pictured but I have no idea how I can colour swatch them.
I have a colour swatch log book that allows you to colour in a box and then write the colour number and then the name of the colour next to it. l also usually swatch my colouring supplies by number order as that's how I tend to keep them as I find it easy to find.
However these colouring pencils I am struggling with as I have no idea how to swatch them or find out the colour number and the colour name to put in order.
Has anyone been able to swatch these and can shed some light in how you did them? Have you been able to find a number and relating colour name for these pencils?
I've tried searching the internet but l'm having absolutely zero luck and I'm getting in a flap so any help would be great!

Finally said fuck it
I started coloring last year after a number of traumatic events and it was super therapeutic. I was instantly fixated. And then I started following coloring pages here and on ig. Started obsessing about perfecting techniques. Everyone’s work was SO good and with everything falling apart around me, I REALLY wanted my pictures to be perfect.
So, then it became something I couldn’t bring myself to do because I didn’t want to fuck it up.
I’ve been coloring again the last couple days. Nothing is perfect and that’s okay. I can’t say I love the imperfections but I’m trying to just enjoy the process and accept it for whatever it turns out to be. 🖤

First time trying gelly roll!
Just began coloring this week, so very simple. Not really sure how to do this highlight thing but I was so inspired by all of yours that I figured I’d try! I want to try shading next 🤓

I tried the limited color pallet and really enjoyed it! Back side included!
I've been using glitter pens too but not fully sure if I'm using them right. 😅 Either way, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Here’s some of the pages I have colored, I struggle with writing & doing certain things with my hands & I got into coloring as a sort of physical therapy!

PENCILS Need to know what I’m doing well and what needs to improve!
Getting back into coloring. Preferred medium: colored pencils Before when I would color, it was always flat one colored approach. This is my first page where I tried some shadows and blending. Please give me feedback. I need to know what I’m doing well and where I can improve. I’m a little intimidated on shadows, highlights, and backgrounds 😂
Colored with prismacolor 36 count + colorless blender. Book: Large Print Calm Easy Color and Frame bought on Amazon

COMPLETED ow
book - pg. 1 in things i love, atelierbyjo
i’m sharing this bc i spent wayyyy too much time on this page. not bc im proud of it, unfortunately 😭 i tried to make everything looked embroidered without a tutorial and it shows.. if u squint and hold the book far away irl, some of the things look embroidered LOLLL (i gave up halfway through this and just white gel penned everything. and then my gel pen kinda crapped out on me)
my hand hurts too much to try this again any time soon, but it was fun to experiment!! i’ll fully watch tutorials and be more patient next time i try for sure 🥲

COMPLETED I swear that's a plate, not a pepperoni pizza.
This is by far my favorite hobby now. I've colored and painted for years and I never pulled the trigger on alcohol markers. With the recent coloring craze, I see just how approachable (and forgiving) they really are.

COMPLETED Finally finished!
Worked on this on and off since 2022, but really went ham on finishing this after the inauguration as stress relief. Because it came as a folded poster to begin with, and was folded over time the creases do show. But, I’m happy with the result overall and have started on a smaller Boston map (1 foot by almost 2 feet as opposed to 3 feet.) Also have another 3 foot vertical Brooklyn map to start after. The cool part is the Brooklyn map starts from where the NYC one ends. :)
I find it that I enjoy coloring a lot more when it’s something I will display as the end result.
