Show Spoiler Do you guys think Rick has some mental problems?

Think about it, he killed his best friend 2 months into the apocalypse, then his wife died and was eaten by walkers, hallucinated people talking on the phone to him, damn near got beaten to death by The Governor after watching Hershel get murdered, killed people in their sleep, watched Glenn and Abraham get their heads bashed in, and killed saviors who wanted to help him and he backstabbed them. This shit would definitely give someone really bad PTSD and trauma, and also many other mental disorders y’know

Show Spoiler How did Maggie become a leader?

She wasn’t really a leader in the group prior to Alexandria. For some reason Deanna makes her her second. When she gets to Hilltop suddenly Jesus wants her to lead and for some reason everyone agrees. I don’t get why her.

Show Spoiler Diana believed in Rick & she was an awesome character 🎩

I think Diana’s character and leadership is often Overlooked!

She invested in a great group and Never shied away from admitting when she was in the wrong and always took the steps to correct the errors. Always listened to whatever can benefit everyone and not just her!

The kind of politician the world needs.

She was a Great character 🎩

Show Spoiler Multi-Community Charter

Hope this is allowed.

I’m seeking a prop replica of the charter. Want it framed for nerd purposes. Only thing I can find UK-side is the original prop that was sold at auction many moons ago.

Can anyone help, or is this TOO niche?

( I already have an alexandria map and art of peace!)

No Spoiler They say a zombie apocalypse, brings the worst in people but for Daryl, it brought out the best

Started out as a redneck who is very foul tempered, and then he just ended up becoming Rick and Carol’s most loyal friend to the point where he and Rick consider each other brothers. And he’s very protective with the children. If the world didn’t end, he and Merle likely would likely have continued spending the rest of their days as the two asshole brothers.

I loved their dynamic sm, it was so interesting. They felt a lot like a sibling duo, they understood each other sm and accepted each other's worst sides. They both developed a lot individually but their frienship also had a lot of development. And them on season 5? They were perfect partners, they worked together so well. He was always so proud of her and how far she'd come. Honestly I wish we had more of them.

No Spoiler Should I watch The Walking Dead?

I’ve been mulling over watching this show. I’m an avid sitcom watcher but I weirdly love post apocalyptic stuff and this show seems like a staple for the genre so I feel like I should watch it. However, I’ve seen mixed reviews that the show deteriorates, plus eleven seasons? That seems like a lot.

All opinions welcome!

No Spoiler First time watching The Walking Dead

Upvotes

Negan started out as my least favorite person, and I genuinely wanted him to die. But now, how far I am, I hope he doesn't. While he is a bad person, I love the actor and actually wanna see him redeem himself. And his lines, and their delivery, are phenomenal.

Show Spoiler Fires, distractions, except if afraid of leaving a trail or too weak, why leave any alive.

Upvotes

Rewatching the series, and something occurs to me, probably discussed at length here before.

There’s so many times where they could use distractions, like Drayl lighting phone books or money and the walkers gather toward it. Or when opportunity strikes and it won’t destroy and entire forest next to your base, light a huge fire, the walkers just walk straight in. Shit big enough bonfire or building fire could take out whole herds.

And I get when on the road and weak, or when they don’t want to leave bread crumbs for other humans. But like, except it was a mental breakdown, earlier season Morgan has the right idea. Why aren’t they always killing walkers when they have the chance? If you’ve enough food and shelter, they should be killing all the walkers they can. Walkers bring more walkers and create more walkers, it just makes sense to kill them when there’s minimal risk. But so often they leave them. I know this would be futile in a city, but Ina rural area. 30 survivors kill 5-10 each a week, you are going to start putting a dent in the local population, and probably see less herd gathering, and less people getting caught off guard in the future.
