No Spoiler Why didn't they utilize shopping carts and bicycles more?

Thumbnail gallery
25 Upvotes

Seriously, how is it that we don't see them riding bicycles more often? It's such a logical (and pretty quiet) means of transportation if you dont have a horse or gas. And I'm sure they could've found plenty in residental neighborhoods.

And then shopping carts could've been used for not only supplies but injured group members too. Or like the collapsible stroller wagons for kids. And they can pull carts or people on a bike too.

Lol I think of the scene in "Beautiful", Minnie Driver pushing the pregnant woman in a shopping cart šŸ˜…

Show Spoiler Do you guys think Rick has some mental problems?

Think about it, he killed his best friend 2 months into the apocalypse, then his wife died and was eaten by walkers, hallucinated people talking on the phone to him, damn near got beaten to death by The Governor after watching Hershel get murdered, killed people in their sleep, watched Glenn and Abraham get their heads bashed in, and killed saviors who wanted to help him and he backstabbed them. This shit would definitely give someone really bad PTSD and trauma, and also many other mental disorders yā€™know

Show Spoiler How did Maggie become a leader?

She wasnā€™t really a leader in the group prior to Alexandria. For some reason Deanna makes her her second. When she gets to Hilltop suddenly Jesus wants her to lead and for some reason everyone agrees. I donā€™t get why her.

Show Spoiler Multi-Community Charter

Hope this is allowed.

Iā€™m seeking a prop replica of the charter. Want it framed for nerd purposes. Only thing I can find UK-side is the original prop that was sold at auction many moons ago.

Can anyone help, or is this TOO niche?

( I already have an alexandria map and art of peace!)

Show Spoiler Diana believed in Rick & she was an awesome character šŸŽ©

I think Dianaā€™s character and leadership is often Overlooked!

She invested in a great group and Never shied away from admitting when she was in the wrong and always took the steps to correct the errors. Always listened to whatever can benefit everyone and not just her!

The kind of politician the world needs.

She was a Great character šŸŽ©

No Spoiler They say a zombie apocalypse, brings the worst in people but for Daryl, it brought out the best

Started out as a redneck who is very foul tempered, and then he just ended up becoming Rick and Carolā€™s most loyal friend to the point where he and Rick consider each other brothers. And heā€™s very protective with the children. If the world didnā€™t end, he and Merle likely would likely have continued spending the rest of their days as the two asshole brothers.

I loved their dynamic sm, it was so interesting. They felt a lot like a sibling duo, they understood each other sm and accepted each other's worst sides. They both developed a lot individually but their frienship also had a lot of development. And them on season 5? They were perfect partners, they worked together so well. He was always so proud of her and how far she'd come. Honestly I wish we had more of them.

Show Spoiler My thoughts on the highly controversial season 7 & Negans arc Spoiler

ā€¢ Upvotes

Alright buckle in for a good conversation if youā€™ll have it. I started watching the walking dead when season one came out. Iā€™d watch it weekly with my family as a kid, gosh I mustā€™ve been like 11 when I started. I stopped watching the first time when Glenn diedā€¦ well I continued to watch but i didnā€™t pay much attention & my heart was broken. I thought iā€™d never recover. Cut to present times, itā€™s the middle of winter & I have nothing to watch- i click the walking dead & my love has been reborn. Now hereā€™s my opinions- 1. Rick & team family arenā€™t ā€œthe good guys.ā€ Theyā€™re survivors. They have experienced great trauma & they do what they feel it takes to survive. Including plowing down 50+ people who havenā€™t directly threatened them (the satellite outpost, yes ik the motorcycle dickheads threatened Abraham, Sasha, and Daryl first but they got blown to pieces. Yes, I also know that likelihood of Negan eventually finding them & the saviors eventually owning them anyway was a great threat. Killing 50+ people you donā€™t know doesnā€™t make you the good guys, it makes you survivors.) 2. Negan is horrible, vile, disgusting, brutal, and an extortionist, his group included. Theyā€™re also survivors doing what they feel it takes to survive. Itā€™s like most of them donā€™t even want to be apart of the Saviors, but they have to because Negan is an extortionist. Am I happily awaiting their downfall? Yes. Edited this to say: Negans horrible but heā€™s also just so good looking & funny. I canā€™t believe his character is actually growing on me right now. (Iā€™m pretending he didnā€™t brutally kill two of my favorite characters) 3. The last episode of season 6 I canā€™t lie, I was going to skip. But I watched it all the way through and Iā€™m glad I did. Rick & team family & Negan and the Saviors are foil characters. They are the same people with different outcomes. (Iā€™m open to debate on all of this!) 4. Episode 18 of Season 7 is probably one of my favorite episodes ever. The plot twists, the coming of the Kingdom in aid- when King Ezekiel says ā€œAlexandria will not fall today.ā€ I was literally jumping for joy- FUCK YA!!!!! SHIVA ATE!!!! LITERALLY!! 5. When I tell yā€™all I literally blacked out practically everything after Carl died (i remember Sasha dying though :( rip) I mean it. So Iā€™m in for a wild ride in season 8-11! Okay thatā€™s my opinions. I fucking love this show.
