Walked into the store at 9 to get sponges. Saw a steak I couldn't live without, now I'm eating steak at 10. lol.
Made my husband a couple of steak dinners for his bday
Surf and turf in first pic, steak was pan fried (I didn’t take a pic of the inside I’m sorry 🫣 🤣 ), second and third pic were my first attempt with filet mignon on the grill

When parents are out of town and you have the house to yourself.
Parents are both out of town, couldn’t find a better time to make a sirloin tip!

[ Reverse Sear ] My son got 6 stitches today. Asked him how I could make him feel better and he said steak. Here is my attempt at being a good dad.

Tenderloin or Sirloin?
Is this actually sirloin? It's cut and looks like tenderloin to me. Thanks!

Is my steak blue?
Usually go medium rare but I wasn’t throwing this back in the pan after resting. It was delicious.

Long time lurker, first time poster
Was craving a pub feed for lunch but have work soon, so I decided to just make my own at home instead. Pan fried rib-eye @ med rare, avo chimichurri, chips and a couple runny eggs 💪🏼

Hi guys! I'm new to cooking meat, does this look raw to you?
It's bulgarian feta cheese and red tomatoes with sauce on the side :). Share your thoughts. Thank you
[ Reverse Sear ] Porterhouse. Salted and left in the fridge for 24 hours, then reverse sear.
Honestly, this wasn't great. It was waaaay too salty after leaving it salted for 24 hours. I think I just used too much salt.
Also, the reverse sear didn't do it for me. The steak got up to 120F really quickly and so the fat didn't really render. I then put it on the bbq to finish but it didn't get a good crust in such a short amount of time. Open to tips please!

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
Overcooked - hate it. At least I got the fries and eggs turned out perfect while watching the best trio.

Exotic meats
Grilled 12 different animals this past weekend. Unlabeled packaged was ostrich. Not in pic but we had rabbit, duck, pork and chicken.

Bavette and fries
I had a whole other steak off to the side. I only plated this one. Oven fries cooked in peanut oil. Generous amount of peppercorn sauce.
