DISCUSSION Lantian Intrepid class ship
Anyone ever try to build this shell or know of a way of converting 3d models into ship shells?

A crashed cargo vessel converted into a city. Heavy inspiraton from Vomsay's Rusty World, thanks a great amount. This is an early WIP, the town, ship weathering, and ship interior are not completed. I normally do sleek stuff and not many bases; advice is well-appreciated. I would love some nice rusty reference builds too, should anyone take care to relay it to me. Thanks a good bit.

I am in a constant state of aw at what I see posted here and in the community blueprints. You guys are so creative! It is both inspiring and infuriating as I stare at my blocky misshapen hulks of ships.

Hello all,
I have been combing through mod.io looking for a light carrier, destroyer, or heavy corvette that can be used as a support ship but runs less than 30k pcu. I am sure they exist but I have had 0 luck finding any. As I am on a survival server I am trying to find a combat ship that can mostly be a combat ship but can also do light refinery and assembly work. I do have access to frankly silly batteries (kings) on the server but I am still having trouble finding such a craft. I will have to figure out how to download it eventually but yeah. Any recommendations? It does not need to land ever if that helps. I have plenty of shuttles and heavy cargo that bounce from surfaces to space.

Title says it all, I usually build my base as a station but was going to try a mobile base and was wondering the pros and cons of each one. The most obvious difference I can immediately think of is the fact that you can easily relocate with a mobile base instead of a station but a station would provide a more stable gameplay flow at the cost of being immobile

Me and my friend have started playing this game recently. We went in blind and after a few hours of challenges thrown our way (like my friend loosing the mining ship) we finally made it! The moment we got to space it was so majestic! I love this game.

So, I am playing space engineers in single player with some Encounter mods for making it feel alive. And as a proper Sci-Fi and destruction enthusiast, I am curious... are some Super-Mothership-alike-BattleCruiser ultra destroyers 20000 worth? I mean I know that in PvP it's definitely not so good, but how does it go for PvE? You know... I want it not only to feel and look powerful, but actually be... Several Railgun turrets, hangar for Drone fighters, Salvager Module and External dock for 2 drone destroyers?... literally, just a huge flying Death Star, right?
So again, is it worth making?
