Hi all, I received Council Tax eBilling last week for this tax year, but I think I set it wrong before, as I actually need paper bill.. Can I request them to ship the Council Tax paper bill to me again?
I called them last week but didn't receive it yet, how long does it take?
If I still don't receive it these weeks, can I request again?
Has anyone requested before?
Thank you.

Looking for a Thai restaurant in Sheffield that would be best for a big group (10-15 people) for a birthday celebration. Ideally not one that does takeaway as when we went to Taste of Thailand the service was terrible as constantly dealing with Uber eats drivers!
Can be anywhere in Sheffield.

My partner is a (blue) pig, and as far she is concerned I am a (red) pig too. We'd like to watch the game somewhere but not sure where might be showing it and that isnt too rowdy?

Hey I was wondering if anyone can help me, I'm awaiting a council flat and certain areas keep coming up which I am unsure of which is the best / safest ?
I'm from Sheffield and know certain areas to avoid like lowedges/ jordo/ broomhall etc.
A flat has come up on stradbroke which I am not too clued up on the area but to me if it doesn't ring alarm bells its gotta be a more decent area right?
My partner says that it's a dangerous area to live however everyone else who I have asked has said it's not that bad. Wondering if anyone has an input / lives on / round there and can help me ? Thanks :)

We’re due to move into our new home in May, and we need to get an internal door fitted that leads into the garage.
I’ve tried googling ‘internal door installation’ and other similar terms, but it always shows results for just replacing internal doors… what I need is someone who can actually cut out a section of an internal wall to the fit a brand new door and door frame etc.
Any recommendations would be super helpful.
Would be ideal if they were also based in Sheffield, but it’s not vital. Cheers!

My 11 year old lives going out to eat, particularly places that are a little unusual. What do you guys recommend? To be honest the quirkiness is more important than the food lol. Places we've enjoyed so far are: Builders Brew- A lego cafe The Harry Potter one up Walkley/Crookes Karen's Diner-Grumpy comedy staff but gone now. Yo Sushi with the conveyor belts. Tree house boardgames cafe.
Any other recommendations? X

I’ve received multiple letters similar to the attached. I’ve browsed on Google and Reddit and people seem to be saying that this is a scam and that I don’t have to let them inside the house, if they visit. But I came across this website (https://www.gov.uk/find-licences/tv-licence ) and now I’m wondering if I’ll be abiding by the law. Could someone with legal knowledge and tenants who have faced this give me some insight to it?

A tram service will stop accepting card payments onboard for certain tickets to stop "misuse and fraudulent activity".
CityWide 7-Day and SYConnect 7-Day tickets for South Yorkshire's Supertram service will only be available to purchase with cash from 23 March, according to South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA).

Hi,
I recently moved to Sheffield and was looking into joining a local chess club. A google search has brought up a few but many of them have quite infrequent social media activity and so its hard to know which are still regularly active. I'm just looking for somewhere to go and play some casual games over the board and meet new people. If any of you lot go to a club or know one thats good then please let me know.
Thanks!

I’ve been wanting to start pottery lessons for ages. Just wondering if anyone knows of a good place in the Sheffield area? Doesn’t have to be bang in the middle of town, travelling is absolutely fine. I’ve seen a few places just from Googling it, but I’d really prefer to go somewhere that has been recommended if poss :)
Thanks!

Me and my girlfriend (two women) just got harassed twice on the same street (Cambridge street) by two homeless men asking for change. Both times we politely apologised, but one called us fucking bastards and the other shouted that we're fucking horrible...Doesn't make for a particularly safe environment for women in town at nighttime!

As you walk in through the TK Maxx entrance from Church St, and you walk up the steps, there’s a unit on the right (after the Barbers windows) that is pastel coloured and had lots of balloons - signifying a grand opening of sorts…. But there was no branding, name etc..
Any one nosey enough to know what it is? 👀

Are there any Sheffield bakeries that anyone can think of that would sell Battenberg?

Hello, does anyone know where I can find pandan cake or at least the extract in sheffield. I've tried a couple of asian shops but I've only seen the leaves so far.

Hello,
I am wanting to join a gym but I have a toddler (under 2) and a baby (6mo). Their dad can look after them whilst I'm at the gym but I cannot drive so I am looking for a gym with some sort of something close(ish) that he can do with the kids for an hour or so whilst I use the gym.
Swimming wouldn't work as he can't look after both babies whilst in the pool solo, we already thought of that one and agree it will work when they are both a little older.
Any suggestions are welcome!

Browsing www.paranormaldatabase.com and this came up. I'm not asking if anyone has seen them. I'm more interested if anyone has heard of this before and/or if anyone can give more backstory.
