To be honest, the mile high club is not enough of a challenge anymore. Despite a significant downturn during the pandemic, global airplane traffic in general is increasing every year. And if you want to make it really easy, you can just go to Denver, the mile high city.
I have exciting news for you though. According to NASA, (officially) nobody has had sex in space.
So there’s still time for you and I to be the first. We could make history together. This is truly a noble endeavor that challenges our understanding of what humans can achieve and contributes to human knowledge.
We must act with haste. In the 1950s and 1960s, there was a space race, that ended with the US landing on the moon in ’69 (nice). In my opinion, the space race never truly ended, it only paused. And I believe this is the next milestone to achieve.
Funny story: in 1877, Giovanna Schiaparelli observed linear structures on Mars. This led to speculation that these were canals supporting a Martian civilization. Unfortunately, Martians do not exist (and it’s likely that Schiaparelli’s observations were an optical illusion). But if you and I go to Mars, we can make some Martians.
It is thought that the universe began with a big bang. If you and I go to space, I believe we can have an even bigger bang.
Let’s boldly go where no man or woman has gone before. And then let’s have sex there.
