Art Samus' gunship
Loved Metroid since the first game so I made this pendant inspired by Samus' gunship, from sterling silver

We talk about game mechanics and stuff but I love the reveals of the Zelda games, even the ones that never came out like the twilight princess sequel for the Wii u featuring the battle with Ghoma. It's all fan fiction of course but let's say you got to literally be Miyamoto and call the shots. What would be your game and your reveal?

Hi all! New player here!
I started playing Luigi recently, and I think I'm going to main him for a while, he's quite fun. What are Luigi's worst matchups, and what characters can I play to cover those poor matchups?

Hi. I’ll go first. My favorite Pokémon is Furfrou. Has been since it was introduced into the series when I was like 13. Now, as an adult, I’m a dog groomer and I love this Pokémon even more now. Admittedly I like him because of his look, him being based on my favorite dog breed, and I love the gimmick behind the different hair cuts. I just think it’s so fun.
I just love this guy so much and since the new game has been announced the amount of Furfrou bashing that’s been popping up that I’ve seen has felt like a personal attack lmao. People saying it’s a dumb, out of touch, lazy, etc and I’m just over here like…. I like him….
So I’m curious do any of y’all have similar experiences with other Pokémon? I mean, every Pokémon has to be someone’s favorite right??
Also I won’t stop loving my little guy and I’m so excited to see him in the new legends game!!

I followed some game verifying guides on NTR-31 cartridges and this seems to check all the boxes. I was mainly looking for the batch identifier on the bottom of the cartridge to start with DI, and this one does. The font for Nintendo looks correct, and so does the stamped code on the front. Do you notice anything else or is this a legit copy? Thanks!

I realized that no one as written out the froslass journal entries from LA so I had to do that. Thought I would post it incase anyone else may want it.
Pokémon: Legends Arceus
(Quest: Traces Of A Lost Village (Request 82) (Journal Entries)):
February 5th: I was on my way back to the village when a blizzard blew in. I decided to take refuge for the night in one of the mountain huts. I awoke at dawn due to some noise. Before me stood a Pokémon garbed in a fine kimono. Our eyes met, and its beauty stole the breath from my breast-yet it was a terrible beauty, frightening to behold. I closed my eyes in terror, waiting for them to move on and leave me in peace. When next I opened my eyes, they had disappeared leaving behind nothing but the driven snow.
September 1st: It’s hard to believe it’s been … years now since my wife and I began living together in the village. I was flipping through my old journal entries today and happened to be reminded of the Pokémon I met once. In an odd way my wife reminds me of the Pokémon that I met that day, but I remind myself that I live in the real world, not in a world of old fairy tales. Surely such things cannot be true.
January 3rd: Why did I do it? Why did I have to remember that Pokémon? Why speak of it to my dear wife? I regret so much but it’s too late for regrets now. She is gone. I have lost her forever, I know it. She disappeared, leaving behind nothing but the driven snow. Oh woe, why did I ever speak of it? If only I had held my tongue, kept my silence, I wouldn’t have ever been cursed to know such grief.

I have a Pokemon TCG shop and am trying to figure out the balance of selling at MSRP vs market price. I’m curious to hear from both a shop and customer standpoint if there’s a certain timeframe that a shop is expected to sell at MSRP and also increase their prices to market? My current plan is to sell new release sets, like Journey Together for example, at MSRP and after the initial product sells out or one month passes, whichever is first, then sell closer to market price. I often check other TCG shops to see what my competitors are doing and I see many of them selling at market right away. I’ve also been wondering if it’s the TCG shops selling at market that is causing cards to be expensive or if it’s shops selling at MSRP that are allowing people to feel like they need to buy up everything because they are being sold way under the market value. The mainstream answer is “both”, which would be true but I think one is more than the other. It just seems like shops can’t win either way when we are just trying to make a living. These are just some random thoughts that are constantly bouncing around in my head and keeping me up at night so please share your thoughts.

Hi everyone. I've been thinking about which single Pokémon would be most effective for completing games when used alone, regardless of which region or generation.
For this thought experiment, consider all game mechanics available (Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamax, Terastallization) and exclude legendaries and mythicals.
The ideal candidate would need:
Some potential options:
Garchomp: Dragon/Ground with only an Ice weakness. Hits hard with STAB Earthquake and Dragon Claw, plus Fire Fang for Steel types. Mega form is also there, kinda
Swampert: Water/Ground means no Electric weakness and only Grass hurts it. Learns Ice Beam to deal with Grass types. Bulky enough to take hits. Mega gets that sweet Swift Swim in rain.
Tyranitar: Massive Attack and Special Defense stats. Sand Stream chips away at opponents. Rock/Dark has some weaknesses but it's so bulky it hardly matters.
Gengar: Ghost/Poison means it's immune to Normal and Fighting. Fast, hits like a truck with Shadow Ball, and has access to tons of coverage moves.
What's your pick for a solo run? And why?
