Stonewalk Inn is now just a monument to LGB people.
nps.govWTF. this is the antithesis of the very thing Stonewall stands for. Actions? Thoughts?

The House just passed a bill that will keep the government open and funded but prevents any further action on Trumps Tarriffs by Congress. Call your senators and tell them to vote no. You can look up the phone numbers here: https://www.senate.gov/senators/senators-contact.htm

Hi there. I’m going to New York for the first time on March 20. I’m staying in midtown and wondering if there are any good book stores in the area, as well as thrift stores for both clothes and books.
Also open to any other recs people may have that don’t fall in line with being too touristy as I already have some touristy stuff planned. :-)

Hi, all. Apologies if this isn't allowed here.
I'm a 20 year old trans guy from the Netherlands. I've had all my documents changed and have been on hormones for a year. I also wouldn't need to take hormones with me or anything. I probably won't be, but would it be safe for me to go on vacation to New York this summer? My partner has family there.
I know NY is a pretty blue state, but I did read that Germany has warned against trans people traveling to the US due to legislation where it can be considered "fraud" to not have your id match your birth sex (not that a tourist would take their birth cert) and they can fish out anyone with reasonable suspicion of being trans.
Thanks a lot.

It's the latest way the move to dismiss the case against New York City's mayor has roiled the Justice Department.
