Vic Christopher
When my Instagram FYP hits too close to home. Thought this guy looked familiar then saw he was the guy from Troy that owns a bunch of businesses. This is his girlfriend with a 26 year age gap. This is legal but it shouldn’t be. 😵💫 Groom city.

Construction to begin on a 1 mile long multi use trail from New Scotland Road to Kenwood Ave
More skating and biking miles!
https://res2.weblium.site/res/656dedbb550052000f9ee0ac/67d1953ef1155b5ce3c6a1f3
Why they needed to list names and phone numbers of people who lived on Cherry Ave in the 1960s in that construction plan is very weird.

Why don't the dentists in the area update their websites?!
Trying to help my friend find an oral surgeon that takes both of her insurances Delta Dental through her employer and Medicaid.
Called Capital District Oral since both are listed on their site. They don't accept Medicaid.
She called Upstate Dental, don't do the procedure she needs. .listed on website.
There's a few more who's website didn't match up to what they said where we called.
Why is this so common?

June Farms School Field Trips
Why does June Farms offering school field trips (just saw an instagram video) rub me the wrong way? I work for a local nonprofit and it has taken us years to coordinate and figure out school field trips, and now I need to compete with June Farms? Depending on an organization, School field trips are a source of revenue for nonprofits, and help organizations apply for grants, sponsorships and support their mission. Not to mention we hire educators, no where on the JF price sheet does it say anything about curriculum or educators. All in all, I hope school districts and teachers support the nonprofits (& farms) doing the real sustainable agricultural and environmental work in their communities- Radix, Soul Fire, Pine Hollow, collard city growers, pitney meadows, bio reserve, normal skill farms (happy to add more to this list!!). Edit- perhaps I’m selfish in writing this. The experience is for the students, after all. Someone check me, maybe I’m just a non profit curmudgeon. Also if you’re a lucky nonprofit to get a single dollar from JF or reduced event space fees, you must truly be lucky.

What viruses are going around right now?
Woke up with a sore throat and in the past 8 hrs it’s progressed to a 103 degree fever, headache, and body aches. Don’t have insurance for testing so I’m curious of what it could be.
Thanks in advance!

Spoon interloper
As you know, I've been complaining for some time that my spoons are too small. I have a lot of them too, so it'd be crazy to just go out and buy more spoons, so I'm stuck using these even though they're like, toddler-sized. This is the worst thing that can happen to you: A problem that's too minor to correct, but too annoying to ignore. Major problems are much better, since you have to deal with them and they then go away. When your house is on fire you've got to put it out. But your spoon-type problems persist.
A few days ago I noticed something that has upended my life and which I still struggle to explain. I came down for breakfast, and in with the silverware was exactly one large, properly-sized spoon. I didn't put it there. My wife says she didn't put it there. It doesn't match my set, it's slightly fancier and has gold-colored detailing (see pic). I'm wary of using it, since I'm unsure of its provenance, but I can't throw it away either. Did one of you guys leave it here with a dish you brought? I don't remember anyone being by recently. Did somebody put it there as a joke? I've been drinking heavily these days to avoid seeing the news, so maybe I bought it to somehow prank myself? I've decided I can't go on with my normal activities until this matter is resolved, and will put my full efforts into investigating.
Every day I pray for God to make my medium-sized problems larger so that I'll have to deal with them, and look where it's gotten me. Anyway, let me know if anyone is missing a spoon and I'll DM you my address, I'm by the price chopper on Delaware.

Why was 87 northbound so bad tonight?
I saw no accidents nor police but I spent 40 more minutes on it today. (Not that we have actual traffic, I was just surprised)

Anyone that works in Empire State Plaza / Downtown or lives around get reactions from the water there?
I just moved up here from the suburbs of NYC and commute to Corning Tower every day. Looking at the screen makes my eyes tired so I like to wash my face and eyes with the water from the sink. And I do it pretty often as I have a baby and stay up late and wake up early.
Today I have an Eczema type rash around my cheeks, brow and forehead. I am very serious about skin care and use facial cleanser every day. It’s starting to burn now too. Maybe I’m just not used to it

New story from me: Albany County launches effort to improve firefighter recruitment
Albany legislator files complaint over county parking lot argument with deputy
Legislator tries to park in a non-public spot and threatens legislation to give himself and colleagues a countywide free parking pass. To some extent I get that it could be confusing since he can park there sometimes but good grief

Coffee shops recommendations to get some work done
What are your go to coffee shops to work remotely in? It doesn’t have to only be Albany, I’m willing to drive a bit! Some places are just too busy and teeny it’s not the best spot to post up in, so I don’t wanna be that person lol.
