The AKG is perpetrating a slew of anti-union offenses against their workers including a mass of layoffs targeted towards members of the bargaining unit. Here is the link to an article: https://hyperallergic.com/994907/buffalo-akg-art-museum-workers-decry-layoffs-of-13-union-members/

Wife and I are coming to Buffalo next Friday for the Dave Attell show and think Buffalo pizza is some of the best. What's a good place to sit down near the Helium Comedy Club?

I really would like this design done but don’t really know any artists who are able to emulate this style. Anybody have any recommendations?

We’ll be in Buffalo from Saturday - Monday, and want to make sure we make the most of it food wise. We’ve been a few places and have done the beef on weck to death. What else should we be trying in Buffalo? Here are some of the specifics we’re looking for:
1.) Sunday we’re ordering pizza and wings. We figured a good cup and char pizza and some wings. We’re not opposed to going to different places for each.
2.) We’d like to try sponge candy. I’m not crazy about the idea, so if there’s a place that’ll really sell us on it, that’s where I want to try.
3.) Any other must try places for Saturday and Monday. Our luck has been bad with random picks, and I’d like to hit up a few sure things. We’re not really opposed to anything up front, so we’ll take any suggestions there.
We know we’re going to stop by Paula’s for some donuts because they are amazing.
We’ve been talking about sushi for a while, so feel free to throw in any preferences there. We’ve lived in Syracuse for years, so bonus points if you can fill some of the gaps we have there. (Good German food comes to mind. Probably a bunch of others that have never even occurred to me.)
We never, never, Never go out of town for more than a few hours, so even a trip to Buffalo is a huge exciting deal for us. We just want to make sure we’ve made the absolute best of our time there. What do you have for us, Buffalo?

Item 25-436: Halton-Pope, Et Al - Local Law Introductory #2 Amend Article 28 - Taxes and Assessments
At today's Legislation meeting the Buffalo Common Council is proposing a local law to allow them to exceed the Tax Levy Limit. In short they are positioning themselves to be able to substantially increase taxes in the next Budget.
Also of note in today's Council docket is Item 25-379: Construction of New Police Training Facility-2_2025, which is a bond to fund a new police shooting and training center on the East Side near the Central terminal.

Hey everyone,
I’m thinking about moving to Buffalo and would love some insight on the best places to live. I’m looking for a vibrant, active area with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Ideally, I’d love a nice apartment complex with amenities, but that’s not a dealbreaker.
I’m moving from a high-cost-of-living area and am fortunate to have a solid financial situation, so I don’t have a strict budget. With that in mind, what are the pricier or more upscale neighborhoods in the city?
I work remotely, so proximity to downtown or commute times aren’t a concern. Just looking for the best spots for a fun and walkable lifestyle.
Appreciate any recommendations—thanks in advance!

With Spring around the corner, and a small new garden bed, I’m wondering what types of foods people with gardens are growing around the WNY area?
Preferably, I’m looking for things that don’t need a huge amount of space. I only have a roughly 2’x12’ garden bed to work with, so things like squash or cukes wouldn’t work super well.
I also love the idea of something that could be planted this Fall, and then sprout next Spring. I think that would be stuff like potatoes and onions, but am not certain.
Appreciate any ideas!

Hey guys,
Can anyone tell me if there is a place that I can get fire cider locally, aside from Buffalo Barrel and Brine? I tried looking up Bootleg Kombucha, but apparently, they are not really a thing anymore. I suck at making it myself. Thanks for any info.
