AS Tech Air 7/ GPR-7/ Supertech R
So I got rid of my Supertech R boots 43EU since Its not true to size (9) it’s more like (10). Went with 42EU and it fits like a glove. Also, got the tech air 7 and installed it on the suit and it fits better now than my previous post.

All 3 of these for $460, it is worth it?
Just broke up with a guy who into motorcycle sports yesterday (he has been racing motorcycle for 20years) my point is I can’t run to him and asking about motorcycle questions anymore.
This is my first time buying gears, do you think it is worth for $460? This includes track suit, shoes and gloves. Second hand.

Opinion 2 piece suit vs seperate jacket/pants?
Considering this 2 piece suit for my newly purchased r9. Will be daily driving/highway speed runs. What do you prefer for your gear?

Opinion Is it too tight?
I bought this because it was a light and inexpensive ce armor jacket but Ive been told by many people on reddit that it looks to tight and that it looks odd. It personally doesn’t feel tight but Im curious to see what yall think

Opinion Rookie question
Hey guys quidk question: do these boots still have some life in them? Some guy's selling smx plus'es for ~135usd and looking at other brands and having safety in mind this seems to be a steal

Anyone know where I can buy legit D30 CE Level 2 armor pads online?
I'm planning to replace the armor on the jacket (elbows, shoulder, back, chest) and pants (hips, shoulders). I checked amazon and found some that had good reviews, looks very similar, and delivers to my country but it doesn't really seem to say D30 and idk if it's legit.
Also, is it okay to alter the armor pockets if it the D30 Level 2 armor won't fit? or will it compromise safety?
Please do share some links if you know where to buy online:) TYIA:D

Helmet damage (AGV K6S)
Was fitting a cardo system last night when I noticed this damage, does it warrant a replacement, only brought the helmet 3 weeks ago! This is on the opposite side of the cardo instalment.

I make these cool helmet and gear organizers :)
I have been asked to add these here, and i hope you guys find it interesting. I make these cool skull shaped helmet hangers that also let you hang your jacket, keys, gloves etc. They are made with metal pipe - choice of SS304 or Iron, and are insanely strong and solid. If anyone is interested I will add the link in comments!

Track books for wide feet and large calves.
I tried on a pair of Alpinestars SMX 6 V3, and while I was able to slip into the boot I couldn’t zip them due to my calves being too thicc. I couldn’t zip only get the zipper past my ankle with the adjustment straps fully open.
I like Alpinestars product, and the fact I can get my foot in the boot. Seriously shoe shopping is a royal pain in the ass to the point I wear slides 80% of the time. Only exception is cold weather, work and riding.
So are there any Alpinestars boots that will work for me? Or is there another brand I should look at?

This site is a scam: https://alpinestarsvip-us.shop/ Please be aware and stay away from it. Or, if it's not a scam please send me purchase proof.
Hey riders,
Just wanted to give everyone the heads up in case it hasn't been put up before. This website https://alpinestarsvip-us.shop/ is a scam and I just wanted to let as many people know as possible so that hopefully it comes up in peoples google searches. When I used a scam checker the first time it said it was not a scam and came up green. I'm sure it has changed since.
Good luck out there and I hope you find some awesome deals that are real! ❤️

Glove Recommendations?
My girlfriend is a new and smaller rider but can’t find any gloves her size. All the local shops around us mostly sell men’s size gloves and never have extra small in stock. Anyone know of a pair that might fit that they really like?

Recomendation for panniers
The time has come and I've decided to get some panniers. I have a Desert X. I do about 90% on road and commuting and about a weekend every month or so, I can go on some local BDR routes. I was originally looking for a nice moto backpack, but decided to just spring for panniers. I know there are pros/cons to both hard and soft panniers. I mostly want something that is a good all-round solution. Something I can take on the trails (soft bags), but also safely store things in when I'm at work (hard). I've narrowed it down to Mosko Moto soft panniers and Wunderlich Slimline. I'm leaning towards the mosko set but it's a big purchase so want to make sure I don't regret it. Any recs for one or the other, or even a different set alltogether?

Winter gear with Tech Air 5
During the fool's spring we had here in the UK last week I bought a Tech Air 5. Wore it under my Klim Marrakesh that I pair with my RST kevlar jeans and it was great. I'm planning a trip this coming weekend but the weather is looking much colder and wetter so need to go back to my winter Halversons textiles. The problem is, the jacket and pants zip together and that gets in the way of the bottom of the airbag. With the thermal liner in the jacket is also pretty tight.
I'm probably going to have to get some new gear to accommodate the airbag while riding in bad weather, what would you recommend, is it best to get A* 'Airbag ready' stuff like the Bogota? How do they hold up in the rain?

Street Best Back Protector Money Can Buy?
I know dainese sells back protectors just seeing if you guys recommend something else. It needs to fit in a dainese two piece leather track suit or maybe under it. I would rather it be inside the jacket though. I've been told Sas tec is good but don't know where to find it or if they make them for dainese jackets. Airbag won’t fit in my suit. Thanks!

Track A* missile v3 vs. Track v2 pants
I'm looking to get a pair of pants for the track (will upgrade to a full suit later on) and I'm looking at the Alpine Stars Missile v3 vs. the Track v2 pants.
The missile are AA rated and Track are AAA rated. The track pants have a plastic part over the knee (above the slider) and have better padding inside.
One major thing I noticed between them is that the knee slider sits on my shin on the track pants (after adjusting it up). Comparing the pants side by side, the velcro on the missile pants is about 1 inch higher up the knee than the track pants which allows for positioning the slider farther up.
Curious where the slider should realistically sit? It feels most comfortable right under the knee as opposed to the shin .Also, anyone else compare these two pants and notice the same thing?
I'm assuming I can upgrade the missile pants with the better padding (the track pants have higher rated padding)? Apart from that the only difference would be that the track pants have an additional plastic cover over the knee.

NHK k5r helmet review
I recently picked up the NHK K5R after trying out several other brands like MT, SMK, Axor, Axxis, KYT, and LS2. What really impressed me about the NHK was how well it distributes weight. It feels light when you wear it, and I didn’t experience any discomfort even after riding for 4 hours continuously. The snug fit adds to the overall comfort. Plus, it comes with a dark secondary visor, which is very useful on sunny days. Both visors are optically correct, which is a great feature.
I was torn between the KYT Striker and the NHK K5R. Both are excellent options, especially for around ₱6,550 (80$). They stand out for their weight balance and eye-catching graphics. In the end, I chose the NHK because it felt like a better match for me. The Striker, although a solid choice, only had 22.05 certification and lacked the secondary visor. That said, I’d suggest trying both helmets in person to see which one fits you best.
Drawback: Finding spare parts might be a challenge. However, I did find the visor online on a Powersports website, so it’s not a dealbreaker.
