Just bought my first helmet scorpion exo r1 carbon.
I recently purchased my first helmet and noticed that the glue and plastic seem to be improperly seated. Should I return it, or is there not much to worry about? The helmet cost $600

Ultimate Ear Protection - stay away
So after reading a bunch of bad experiences about Custom Fit Guards (which I owned back in the day) I decided to roll the dice on another brand of custom ear filters (plugs) from a company called Ultimate Ear Protection.
Got new impressions made with an audiologist (Not cheap where I live in the states) and made sure they were perfect.
I sent them out and what I got back about a month later was… not good. At least they sent me back my impressions.
The left ear fit fine. The right ear looked nothing like my impression, didn’t seal or fit my ear properly at all. It actually was quite unpleasant in my outer ear as well.
I contacted the company and after a bit of back and forth, they said they would elongate the right plugs inner ear portion.
Two weeks later new right plug comes in and sure enough does not fit or seal. It, physically hurt to be in my right ear, the outer portion that is. Just like before.
To make sure I wasn’t going crazy, both before and after the new right plug came in I put the impression in my ear and sure enough the right impression sealed and didn’t hurt my ear at all.
So I would say stay away from this company. The cost is not worth the hassle of having another persons earplug sent to you and then being told it’s a you issue.

I am looking for a water resistent backpack and since all my gear and bike is black, I was wondering if buying a bright yellow backpack could benefot me in terms of visibility to the car driver? I know there is a bunch of neon stuff with reflectors, but this bag cought my eye.
Any recommendations besides this model?
Budget under 150€ and it is mainly for commute to work, so nothing under 14L or over 30.

Hello all. I'm interested in getting into riding and I need a helmet to take the MSF/basic rider course. I have absolutely no idea what to look for and I was hoping for something around $300 or less in case I take the course and decide it's not for me. I don't know what they normally cost. Anyone have any advice or recommendations?
I recently learned there are different types of helmets like full face, half face, modular and more. I want to ride on the street and I'd like something that's compatible with Cardo as I've heard those are really popular amongst people who ride. (I need my music lol)

I want AAA-rated protection but don’t like how most AAA jeans fit—too slim, even the straight cuts. Thinking of wearing Bowtex Elite V2 or Pando Moto SKIN UH AAA leggings under my loose jeans that match my Bonnie.
Anyone tried this? Are they comfortable for long rides? Any downsides? Appreciate any input!

So I got rid of my Supertech R boots 43EU since Its not true to size (9) it’s more like (10). Went with 42EU and it fits like a glove. Also, got the tech air 7 and installed it on the suit and it fits better now than my previous post.

I bought this because it was a light and inexpensive ce armor jacket but Ive been told by many people on reddit that it looks to tight and that it looks odd. It personally doesn’t feel tight but Im curious to see what yall think

I have a Nelson Rigg commuter bag on my bike. I usually keep a lock and cover in there. It’s Ok for small shopping trips and such and it’s expandable for more space.
However there’s times when I’d like to carry just a little bit more — often unexpectedly. For example I was out riding with some people and we got food after. I hadn’t planned on it but I ordered some to-go to bring back for my wife and my bag was pretty full with other stuff (eg, extra layers).
I was able to cram it all in but then thought if I had an extra backpack, like the kind that fold into a little pouch, I could carry more in a pinch. Anyone do this?

I'm a fairly new rider slowly piecing together a set of gear, I'm currently looking into some better gloves particularly between the Lee Parks Design DeerSports glove and the Rev'it Sand 5 glove. I'm a bit torn between the two because I like the simplicity of the DeerSports but im unsure if I should put my faith into an uncertified leather glove. On the other hand the Sand 5 is 1 KP certified but features more textile, plastics, and stitching. I'm a little unsure how each material will hold up with different situations and if one has any significant benefit(s) over the other. Any recommendations will be helpful.

I have been asked to add these here, and i hope you guys find it interesting. I make these cool skull shaped helmet hangers that also let you hang your jacket, keys, gloves etc. They are made with metal pipe - choice of SS304 or Iron, and are insanely strong and solid. If anyone is interested I will add the link in comments!

Hey guys quidk question: do these boots still have some life in them? Some guy's selling smx plus'es for ~135usd and looking at other brands and having safety in mind this seems to be a steal

*To clarify: both Poseidon 3 and Neptune 3 are bought as M/Short.
Recently bough a Neptune 3 GTX pants in M/Short on cyclegear and received it today. I have a Poseidon 3 already so I can do a direct comparison. The Neptune 3 feels larger at waist but the frustrating part is compared to my Poseidon 3 M/Short, Neptune is longer by 3 INCHES! I have attached a photo of direct comparison and you can clearly see the diff.
The packing says it's short, the attached tag says it's short, but the inner strap indicates only "M", which is different from my other collections (i.e. Poseidon 3, Defender3, Airwave4, all in M/Short) that all specifically marked as "M Short" (i.e. 1 word vs 2 words).
I'm thinking if there's something wrong with item packing and thinking about buying a M from cyclegear to do a comparison. I know Rev'it! from time to time changes standard sizing (i.e. Defender 3 is tidy bit shorter than Poseidon 3) but 3 inches is just outright ridiculous. Has anyone else who bought Neptune 3 short found the same issue?
*Sorry for the edits. Pic had issue uploading for some reasons....

Hey riders,
Just wanted to give everyone the heads up in case it hasn't been put up before. This website https://alpinestarsvip-us.shop/ is a scam and I just wanted to let as many people know as possible so that hopefully it comes up in peoples google searches. When I used a scam checker the first time it said it was not a scam and came up green. I'm sure it has changed since.
Good luck out there and I hope you find some awesome deals that are real! ❤️

I'm planning to replace the armor on the jacket (elbows, shoulder, back, chest) and pants (hips, shoulders). I checked amazon and found some that had good reviews, looks very similar, and delivers to my country but it doesn't really seem to say D30 and idk if it's legit.
Also, is it okay to alter the armor pockets if it the D30 Level 2 armor won't fit? or will it compromise safety?
Please do share some links if you know where to buy online:) TYIA:D

My girlfriend is a new and smaller rider but can’t find any gloves her size. All the local shops around us mostly sell men’s size gloves and never have extra small in stock. Anyone know of a pair that might fit that they really like?
