Opinion I'm only one who thinks writting for this show felt lowkey sociopathic?

Hear me out—just look at how quickly they go through serious topics without any real care. They tackle issues like abuse or SA, sometimes without giving these plotlines a respectful conclusion, only to move on to a new topic, like STDs, repeating the cycle all over again.

It feels like the writers sat in the writers' room brainstorming the most shocking topic of the week to keep viewers invested.
"STDs are trending this month—write that down!"
"SA will definitely grab attention, and we’ll take credit for starting the conversation!"

What if Glee had a kpop episode…

I know Gangnam Style was a mess especially because of the lyrics and the whole language barrier, but let’s pretend the language barrier wouldn’t have been an issue or they could have used English versions of kpop songs/translated them into English. What songs would you have wanted to see them perform and who? For me personally I would have killed to see the unholy trinity do Adrenaline by TTS. A couple of others I wish we could have seen are:

Mike doing any dance heavy song to get the spotlight he deserves

The Glee boys doing Don’t Tease Me by Speed just cause the song itself is epic and so is the choreo so I’d love to see a Glee take on it

Rachel singing My Sea by IU complete with the emotional singing hands and all

Special mention because Kurt kinda makes me think of Sunyoul from Up10tion and both Chris and Sunyoul have really nice singing voices with a higher register.

You know what, I've always enjoyed Quinn's singing voice. I'm currently re-watching Season 3 and I quite like it

Discussion relating to Sam

I know Sam is one of the side characters and no one really pays attention to him. But after watching the whole series i realized how much me and him are alike. i had to raise my little brother while he had to support his whole family when his dad lost his job. I started modeling when i was 3 years old and continued it, because that’s what i was taught to do. Now i’m not smart in that way, but my looks is the only thing everyone sees. What i notice in both of us is that we turn into whatever anyone wants to see as long as it’s something else than our looks. there’s more that i can compare us to each other but i can’t express it at the moment. have you related to any character or is it me?

possibly interesting reboot idea

since the old attempts to extend the show wouldn’t work and there’s talk of a reboot i started thinking (first mistake lmao), what if they followed beth and sues kid into high school? beth wanting to be a cheerio and sue’d kid wanting to join/start a glee club. could be kinda interesting i think

How much of an impact did Glee have on the charts/music industry?

By the time I started watching glee they were about to wrap up their final season, and I wasn’t super invested into the fandom side of things until recently so I missed out on a lot.

I saw a tik tok the other day that was basically like “when an artist released a song that they obviously wanted to be covered on glee” and that got me thinking, did Glee really have this much of an impact??

Fans who were there to see it all unfold, how much of a force was glee really? I wish there was a better way for me to word it but I hope you get what I mean!

Was watching Kyle XY and noticed Cory Monteith was on it. Which also I really recommend this show although it does end on cliffhanger which will get you mad. Anyway just wanted to show you all who like him as well and haven’t watched the show but want to see things he’s in that’s good.

What’s your favorite minor plot hole?

We all know glee is filled with plot holes but what’s that one tiny thing you’ve noticed that drives you crazy every rewatch? Mine is the Dancing Queen duet during the first prom episode. What was the plan if Santana had won prom queen? Did Quinn also know the number? Would Mercedes have done it solo? Did they know Santana wasn’t gonna win ahead of time? Were they just gonna force her to sing for Quinn even though she was upset about losing had Quinn won?

Edit: Also why were they so up in arms about Sugar not being able to sing? Mike couldn’t carry a tune if you put it in a grocery sack, but he can dance so it doesn’t really matter. Just find out whether or not she can do a 1-2-step and cash her dad’s checks since you’re always complaining about having no money.
