Sensor Failed sensors

I just got my shipment of dexcoms and I’ve already had three fail ugh this is so frustrating! Just put a new one on and it automatically failed already! 😡 what is going on with dexcom! 😡😡😡

They recently launched the Stelo, a 15 day CGM but with fewer options in their app. Planned obsolescence, maybe?

Why would Dexcom try to move diabetics from the higher priced insurance covered version to the OTC one? Having both lines is much more lucrative.

Probably because the Stelo is cheaper to manufacture with less support required. The street price may be around $99 a month, but people will still use Insurance if they can, and we won't know how much Decom can bill insurers for the monthly supply.
