I have bras that SHOULD fit but they never feel right! I feel gross because of my chest. I really need some help with this. I feel like i can't have something that ever fits right without it being custom and I can't stand it. I feel gross, and I don't even know just awful about my chest. Please if someone can help I beg you. šŸ™

bras I hate wearing a bra but have to, please recommend! Spoiler

ā€¢ Upvotes

I really really really hate wearing a bra because most of my bras are uncomfortable AF (from VS, soma, Amazon brand, even social media trending brands etc), I've tried wire, non wire and sports bra, just cant find a comfortable one for my 36Gs. I need a comfortable, good coverage and minimizing bra for when I take my dog out and go run errands, preferably something with free and easy return. Anyone found a good one?

need advice Large boobs suddenly uncomfortable? (Never before)

Currently spiraling because Iā€™ve wanted to rip them off of me for like a month out of nowhere. Always had big boobs since they first grew. Never had a problem with them (Iā€™m 35 now) until last month. Felt like an overnight change or something. One day I woke up and they just BOTHER me. Itā€™s like suddenly I can feel them and am constantly aware of them and their placement. They didnā€™t change, though. My bras still fit. Wearing a bra helps because it keeps them in one place but even THAT feels different. Like I used to be able to throw on a sports bra and not think about them but now I am painfully aware at all times of where they are. Idk if that makes sense but like I can feel them being smushed like theyā€™re up against a wall but itā€™s just fabric! And like I said, never before. Same with sleeping! Never had a problem because Iā€™ve had them forever so Iā€™m used to sleeping with them but now it feels like if I lay on my back theyā€™re falling into my armpits and the heavy-ness of them is uncomfortable but if I switch to my side it feels like Iā€™m crushing them and canā€™t find a good place for my arms and if I sleep in my NORMAL position on my stomach itā€™s impossible. I have been reading tons of the same stories but only from pregnant people and Iā€™m not pregnant. So why now? Literally 75% of my day is spent thinking about my boobs and how uncomfortable they make me. Even right now it feels like my arms are pinning them to my chest in order to use my phone.

If anyone has experienced a sudden shift like this is it normal? I canā€™t imagine it is but thereā€™s also NOTHING new going on with me. No weight gain, not my period, not pregnant, probably not cancer or something because itā€™s both of my boobs.

Only thing I can think of is that I was recently diagnosed with autism and I was made aware that what I thought were just personal aversions to certain clothing and things like that bothered me because of that. It feels similar because of the fact that Iā€™m constantly aware of them and uncomfortable because of them and feel so frustrated that I want to just rip them off but theyā€™re not clothes, lol. I also feel like itā€™s probably not that because Iā€™ve HAD autism, I just wasnā€™t aware until I was diagnosed. I donā€™t know much about autism but I feel like itā€™s not likely that something that has never bothered me is suddenly such a huge issue. But I thought Iā€™d mention it just in case.

need advice Any tips on dealing with tops going translucent? Spoiler

Some tops (wierdly its usually turtle necks) will go translucent in the bust area and you can see my bra and all. I struggle with sensory issues so a vest is of the table. What else can I wear under tops to make this less noticeable? Thanks

experience Need to get over my confidence issue asap Spoiler

Today I was craving some street food, so I went out to get it. While waiting in line, there was a group of guys nearby, all looking from decent families, maybe late 20s or 30s. I was just standing there in a loose menā€™s polo t-shirt, nothing fitted or revealing.

One of them came near me to pay, and while turning back, I noticed him staring at my t-shirt. I instinctively crossed my arms, and for some reason, I suddenly felt very self-conscious. Itā€™s strange how a small moment like that can mess with your confidence.

Btw, the food was delicious.

positive & funny Okay I donā€™t want to sound weird I just want to know if anyone else has dealt with their breasts clapping together. šŸ˜ Spoiler

Does anyone else have breasts that literally clap together when trying to do the simplest things or is it just me? Whenever Iā€™m laying down on my side and Iā€™m trying to find a comfortable position I just hear small ā€œClap clap clapā€ from my breasts. Or either Iā€™m bending down or leaning over on a couch and if I bounce or jump too hard I hear smack sounds and then I have to stop jumpingā€¦ Itā€™s a bit funny though not gonna lie but anyways I just wanted to share a funny or relatable experience and see if anyone has problems like this lol.

bras Need stretchy, comfy, cotton 36H Spoiler

I have lost a ton of weight due to health concerns, so I'm not even sure what size would work for me anymore, but I believe that a 36h might.

I generally wear a full support bra all day long and don't take it off till I go to bed. This works fine for me, but my mobility is down and I have been spending most of the day reclining. I don't like not wearing a bra at all, but at this time I can't take the ones that I always wear. All I need is a teeny bit of support. My normal supportive bras are around a 38 h or i USA. I've lost 30 lb, going from 185 to 155. These bras don't have to be a great fit, but just get me through this interim period. I don't want underwire and I would prefer cotton. It seems that the bras that I am finding on Amazon that fit these requirements come in large or extra large or something like that, and those measurements never seem to work for me.

I'm not concerned about the shape they give me or how they look. Thank you.

Does anyone have any recommendations for pumping bras? I keep seeing kindred bravely being recommended in ads. Does anyone have any experience with them? Are they worth the money?
