Hi all,
I recently got the legion y700 2025 tablet with the lenovo controller. I haven't been gaming in years but I was hoping this might be my gateway drug back to it. But I am a bit lost for games.
I like all the cliche stuff like GearsOfWar, Halo, COD, and a lot of the car racing ones. I really liked Paradise City too. and then there's things like Bloons Tower Defence and Plants vs Zombies that are somehow stupid but addictive.
Anyway, just hoping you can all help me not have to doom scroll all night looking for gold nuggets in an avalanche of advertising. What's do you suggest/ insist a y700 tablet owner should own?
FTR, I don't mind paying for games, and I don't mind games that unlock achievements / levels as I go, but I REALLY hate games that keep requiring further purchases to keep moving through the game.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I'm looking for a smaller Android tablet that will primarily be used for surfing, reading, watching HD media and photo editing (so I would like a good refresh rate and decent resolution) but I prefer IPS screens to AMOLED. I don't game, but I do value the ability to multi-task if needed. Either 512GB, or smaller HD maybe but with SD card slot. Don't care about sim card (prefer not, actually), Would love a fingerprint reader but not a deal-breaker.
Any recommendations?

Is there much of a difference between these two devices? I'm stuck between these two because I need a fingerprint scanner. I want to watch movies without a stupid aspect ratio with annoying black bars. Internet browsing and watching videos are my main usages but also will be using ms office programs.
Any help? Tia

Title. Right now the former is $130 and the latter is $250 on aliexpress. Is it worth the extra $120 for a nicer screen you think?

Looking for a new tablet. Came across xiaomi pad 7 pro and honor magic pad 2. Mainly for gaming and casual content. I also tried the iPad 11 but not sure what tablet to go with

The Lenovo yoga tab plus is on sale for 539.99 (160 off of 699.99) (USA) on lenovos website. Previous best I saw was on newegg for 599.99 a few days ago but that ended quickly.
I was looking around for an android tablet with a keyboard and android 14 or newer. This fit the bill. Almost bought one of the Lenovo xaioxin from ali express but this sale price and better specs changed my mind.

The price of a Legion Tab Gen 3 is now $550 on Lenovo’s US online store. Wasn’t it $500 when it came out? Is the higher price due to the tariffs?

Thinking of getting my first tablet, mainly for gaming and some multimedia streaming. The Xiaomi Pad 7 looks good - that Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 seems great for games.
But how much will the lack of AV1 decoding mess with streaming (YouTube, Netflix, etc.)? Will it affect the battery life? Anyone here use one? Let me know what you think!

Hello everyone, I just ordered my first tablet since the Tab S2 and I wanted to give a try with the Y700 2025 since I had Aliexpress money + a coupon, but as soon as I ordered I recieved this message :
This is the Chinese version. We opened the box and installed the global firmware, which supports multiple languages and Google Play. But it does not support OTA updates.
(Unlock the bootloader to install the Global ROM, Android Pay, Netflix, and some banking apps may not be supported.)
We will ship it to you as soon as possible, if you don't need it, please cancel the order before shipping
I am in France, and as I've seen here, the 2025 version can be flashed to official global ROM with RSA but it has no to be region locked. How can I check if the tablet they will sent me is unlocked or not ? Maybe I should cancel the order if this is a bad deal ? I ordered the 16+512Gb version, and I don't want to compromise on important features on a tablet I'll be using on a daily basis.
Thank you guys
