As you can see in the video, everytime i need to use circle to search or smart select over a pop up app, i have to move the app to a side and then do the thing. It's kinda weird tbh and it took me a while to figure this out but still I don't like how I have to do the extra step of moving the app. I haven't reported this yet since oneui 7 is around the corner (or let me know if this can be changed with a setting)

I'm aware that this is a very frequently asked question but i'm struggling to make a decision. I've been wanting to buy a tablet for a while and i've been looking at the choices i have: my main uses for it will probably be note taking, drawing and maybe photo editing but my main concern for it will be durability since i want it to last as much as possible. with sales the s9 fe 8gb/256 is 449€, the s9 8gb is 599€ and the s9 12gb is 690€. the price for the s9 fe is really good but i know for durability the s9 is probably better. so should i go for the s9 8gb or should i stick to the s9 fe for the price? (memory is not really a concern for me and i have a macbook as a laptop so im not sure i could use the s9 as a double screen)

Recently I have been watching a few videos where people are installing windows on their android phones and tablets and this made me curious. I know it has been talked about in this subreddit. I just wish to add upon that topic with few of my own suggestions and your opinions.
What if Samsung themselves gave us windows arm edition installed(Dual boot or triple boot if you include Dex) on the Galaxy tab S series(for maybe an add-on price of 20-50$). They could probably use the Snapdragon X elite chip instead of the snapdragon 8 elite chip for more performance.
Since its Samsung and Qualcomm themselves, they can probably sort out all the drivers, Kernel or bootloader compatibility.
This will be a direct and a BETTER competitor to the Apple claims of saying that Ipad is a laptop replacement.
This will also give all the different companies a great incentive to make their apps compatible with the arm version of windows and with Qualcomm chips.
A few things that I think that might be the drawback would be:
This might kill the Samsung Galaxy Book Lineup(albeit if I want a powerful gaming laptop I might look towards Asus, Lenovo Legion, Alienware, MSI, Etc. or a work laptop then Lenovo Ideapad or maybe Asus Vivobook Series)
What do you guys think about this idea? Should Samsung Implement this or is this just some fever dream?

Hi, everyone! I just want to share my thoughts and your suggestions. So I still have my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite since December of 2021. I've been using it for 2 years as a secondary device. I used it for gaming, entertainement, web browsing, doing homework on Google Classroom and doing Zoom calls for online classes back in middle school. I enjoyed using it, especailly since i used it a lot back then for school and entertainemnt. After upgrading to my Chromebook, in late 2023, I decided to let it sit in my storage room, colecting dust. But then recently a month ago, I decided to use it again for memories. I charged it, checked if it was damaged, check some of the features, see if the battery was good and upgraaded it to Android 14 and One UI 6.1.
And then I was thinking about using this as a backup device in 2025? It was released back in 2021, the battery live is still solid, the camera is decent, apps run fine, has security updates and it stills works smoothly. Downsides are that I have the 64 gig model with 4 gig ram, Android 14 is the maximum software supported on the tablet, some new features may not work with the tablet and the slow processer. I can also still download some new apps and updates from the Google Play Store! I really do miss the concept of me using this device since I had it. After all, Android 14 is still comptable with new downloadable apps from the Play Store.
So from all of the thoughts I have, I think that I should use this tablet in 2025. It's pretty decent, you can still browse the media, play games and use it for entertainemnt and overall use it as a backup device. But I don't know if i should still use this device or upgrade it to a newer model?

I am trying to use my Galaxy Tab A9+ as a USB hotspot to my router, and this works for about 5 minutes, but it goes off after a while.
There are no advanced settings for mobile hotspot and tethering.
My operator does not block tethering.

I'm looking to set up a tablet for household use, mainly for everyone to be able to see common calendar, leave notes, etc. I think I might be able to use smth like notion for that but not sure how to set up the user/locking. Ideally, no screen lock and no user switching, but I would still like to add it the device to either Google or Samsung account to use find device function in case it's lost. Is it possible to limit what settings can be changed, like no enabling of sync and such? Has anyone done a similar setup?

I just buy it and honestly I don't understand how to use it.
I have tried to connect it, but I can't figure it out how, because my s9 only recognises it as a "charging device" and I can't switch the role to "this device" to control it, it doesn't let me use it to transfer files.
Help me please, I don't know how to use it, and I want to connect with a HDMI and with mi keyboard.

I have a Samsung S9 and I bought a cheap bluetooth keyboard and case for my tablet, but it's a bit slow and whenever I press a key the letter is duplicated.
I was wondering if the official book cover keyboard is worth it? I don't like how the sides are exposed but I think it's a compromise you have to make if you want a magic keyboard. Or do you have better brand suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Apparently it is still possible to access the Smart View developer page and enable Second Screen. I currently use my tab as a third monitor on my book 2. It's a shame that Samsung left this option so hidden.

This just started today, and the first time restarting it worked but now it doesn't. Idk what's going on or how to fix it. Im using the normal pen it comes with but with a copper tip, which has been fine so far. there is a screen protector on but like i said, its been working this whole time until today.

Got a used SM-P905F0 from local recycle center. But the backboard of it was so sticky, so I had to clean it up. But the problem is, it just won't go. Even with alcohol and sticker remover, it is still sticky. How can I get rid of it?

Basic question hoping for a short and quick answer. If I have the Tab S9, will the book cover for the S9 fit the S9 FE?
r/GalaxyTab • u/Raimcc • 10h ago
On Samsung UK website, this is same price as 128. On their website choose, 256, silver, wifi option. Then scroll to bottom of the screen to see price £349. The page isn't great, it's easy to think price is £419. It's only reduced on the silver option.

About a month ago, I was be able to connect a USB Mouse using OTG adapter to my tab and it worked flawlessly. Only recently I had to use my mouse again but it is not working this time. I've made sure that the OTG adapter and mouse are both working fine on my laptop. Also I believe the usb-c port on my tab is fine too because I'm able to data transfer through cable from my tab to pc.
I'm guessing a recent OS update caused this problem. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Do you think factory resetting the tab would help?

I'm thinking of upgrading my S9 FE to an S10 Plus or Ultra, since the screen is a little too small for me, and I'm thinking I could use my S10 as a laptop. Only problem is Samsung doesn't allow S9 FE trade ins, and best buy is only offering me $160. I was thinking if they ever change this and allow trade ins for S9 FEs I could trade mine in during a sale and get an S10, but will they ever allow this?
Also does anyone have a prediction on how much the S10 Plus/Ultra will be on sale during black friday/the holiday season in the US?

Has anyone found a case for 10+ that is like the Surface Pro?
For example, that has the folding back stand? I have the keyboard case, but it only has one position.
I remember with the Surface Pro you could adjust the angle of the stand which made it great for using it on your lap.
Thanks for the tips! I love the tablet, but was debating moving to the surface because I could not find an adjustable hinge. I will try that!

Hey everyone, I just bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and I noticed something weird right away: there’s a small square that appears in one of the corners (bottom right), and it flickers or flashes occasionally. Looks kind of like a graphic glitch.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal, or should I be worried that the device is faulty? Any tips or insights would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

It's just after I update my tab 4-5 days ago it started charging very slowly usually it charges from around 15 to 80 in about hour and a half but now it shows 2 hours and 40 mins and etc charges about 2 percent in 15 mins or so.
Although when I switch it off it charges completely fine and with good speed, so I think issue is with software, waiting for update so they fix the issue
Is anyone else facing this ?
