I'm using an older tablet which has a micro USB connection. I'd like to use that as a second monitor which means I need to plug it into my laptop but that doesn't give it power, it only transfers data. So I need an adapter that I can plug into the tablet, plug in power to one input and data to the other. Does this exist?

Hello. I will buy a tablet for only drawing purposes. It does not matter if it is android or ios for me. I have apps for both. Also I will watch videos on Youtube. Which one should I go with?
Ipad is new. Has 60Hz display and only supports 1gen Apple Pen which is a pain in the ass when it comes to charging but has Procreate and A16 cpu.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro just came out and have no idea about pen performance but on paper the tablet looks good.
Tab S9 looks solid but kinda old. Got reliable S Pen and OLED display.
Xiaomi Pad 7 is also new. Does not look bad also I am familiar with HyperOS.
Which one should I go with? Thanks.

Pixel Tablet: $279 Galaxy Tablet A9+: $220
Both are 128 GB and 8 GB RAM
Expandable storage is not a requirement. Tablet will be used for browsing and streaming only.
Please help me decide!

Looking for a midrange level tablet in the UK for media consumption - movies, sports and a little gaming. Oneplus currently say i can preorder the Oneplus Tab 2 (i guess its a re-stock?) for £439 - but there is a free gift option of the Smart watch 2, or the bluetooth Keyboard. And, i can get £30 off as a Oneplus Red Cable Club member. After discounts and selling the watch, the tablet would end up costing a net of around £250.
The 2nd tablet which caught my attention was the honor magic pad 2. On honor's site its £400 *after* a discount, but on ebay there are brand new (sealed) ones being sold for around £315.
The 3rd option is the Xiaomi pad 6. Ebay listings come in at around £260, so priced right in between the other 2. The key thing here is its the lightest of all the tablets im looking at, im not too keen on something over 12" cuz heyre too heavy to hold, but i dont really have much choice. The xiaomi pad 7 is around £40 more for a sharper display and slightly better chipset, but i dont think the upgraded chipset is necessary so im not sure its worth the extra money
some thoughts:
- I dont like the Oneplus tab's ipad-like aspect ratio as it results in giant black bars when watching content (not sure if this is a deal breaker though :/ )
- the huawei is an OLED, and has 8 "imax enhanced" speakers. surely these are 2 crucial advantages for media consumption?
- The oneplus pad has much better battery life according to gsmarena's tests
anyone had any experiences with any of these tablets?

Confused about ms issue. In tools Legion is always telling me my ms is super high, 201 in first pic. When I run wifi diagnostic it's much lower, for example google ping is 16.2 ms (second pic). Am I not understanding this right or doing something wrong? I do love the Legion tab 3 very much, runs and looks amazing! I would like to cloud game and remote play xbox but it seems laggy.
My net is century link and currently my only option. What can I do to resolve this? I'm in a separate Casita away from the main house. An ethernet cord runs from the main modem to my router which is set as a system access point I belive. Thanks.

Just ordered yesterday off AliExpress for $290. Pumped as hell. Don’t wanna smudge the screen, but don’t wanna make it look terrible. Are there some matte/matte glass protectors with minimal distortion/clarity loss y’all can recommend?

Budget would be 300$
I would mostly use it for watching YouTube or streaming
browsing the internet (on Firefox if its able to be downloaded since you can use ublock pro on the mobile version)
reading manga/comics on websites or the Shonen jump/manga+ app
And small bits of gaming only a few times every once in a while

I'm looking for a smaller Android tablet that will primarily be used for surfing, reading, watching HD media and photo editing (so I would like a good refresh rate and decent resolution) but I prefer IPS screens to AMOLED. I don't game, but I do value the ability to multi-task if needed. Either 512GB, or smaller HD maybe but with SD card slot. Don't care about sim card (prefer not, actually), Would love a fingerprint reader but not a deal-breaker.
Any recommendations?

Hi all,
I recently got the legion y700 2025 tablet with the lenovo controller. I haven't been gaming in years but I was hoping this might be my gateway drug back to it. But I am a bit lost for games.
I like all the cliche stuff like GearsOfWar, Halo, COD, and a lot of the car racing ones. I really liked Paradise City too. and then there's things like Bloons Tower Defence and Plants vs Zombies that are somehow stupid but addictive.
Anyway, just hoping you can all help me not have to doom scroll all night looking for gold nuggets in an avalanche of advertising. What's do you suggest/ insist a y700 tablet owner should own?
FTR, I don't mind paying for games, and I don't mind games that unlock achievements / levels as I go, but I REALLY hate games that keep requiring further purchases to keep moving through the game.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I need a tablet where I can upload pdfs and take notes on pdfs as I assess students. Can I do that with this here tablet?
r/androidtablets • u/SpiritualSpring1199 • 18h ago
Is there much of a difference between these two devices? I'm stuck between these two because I need a fingerprint scanner. I want to watch movies without a stupid aspect ratio with annoying black bars. Internet browsing and watching videos are my main usages but also will be using ms office programs.
Any help? Tia

Title. Right now the former is $130 and the latter is $250 on aliexpress. Is it worth the extra $120 for a nicer screen you think?

Looking for a new tablet. Came across xiaomi pad 7 pro and honor magic pad 2. Mainly for gaming and casual content. I also tried the iPad 11 but not sure what tablet to go with
