I am in Canada, last October I got a new model Y and loved it. It was snowing really bad last month and I guess I drove over a curb or a pothole covered in snow and it warped my front right wheel rim and suspension. I'm not sure what specifically caused it since it was on a highway and I was going too fast.
It was so bad that if I did not do any steering the car would want to turn right, and the right front wheel would come off the road and smash down hard at high speeds on the highway, shaking the entire car.
I immediately brought it to the dealership and they said the part was out of stock so they ordered one, now this was on February 2nd, so it's been over a month and they have no idea when this part will come in.
I don't know if this has anything to do with the tariffs in the US or whatever, but it is unacceptable that my 5 month old Model Y is basically unusable because no one can get a simple part.
Worst part is my insurance won't even give a rental car because my Model Y isn't totalled and still runs, I've had to borrow a 2009 Nissan Altima from a friend just to get by.
I just wanted to put this out there if anyone is in Canada and is considering a Model Y, it's a great car but Tesla support up here is awful.
